Happy Armistice/Veterans' Day! As we've crossed 2.5k Subscribers I felt that I should do something different for this year's Channel Anniversary! It's been 2 years to the day, and we have grown *a lot* ! To celebrate I took my first song, released today in 2020 and remastered with all the updated audio equipment (and pulling out the ambience which kinda overpowered the voice back then). To make this version special, I decided to do the song in *both* English and German! This took quite some time of practice since German is not my native language and doing an _entire_ song in it has been intimidating (largely because I don't want to mess up). I hope all the German speakers who are listening enjoy and can understand the second half of the 10-minute song! This is also the _longest_ song on the channel, which is fitting, but still a milestone, we've not had anything break 10 minutes (although American Pie came daringly close), but I hope this dreary war song impacts the emotion and significance of war, instead of tiredness and sleep. As always, I am very thankful for my Patreon supporters and if you want to contribute to keeping this channel going, please consider joining here: www.patreon.com/AlderonTyran
Very cool to hear the evolution of your channel with this song. The original always made me think of a soldier singing it in the field. This one feels a lot more professionally done. As far as I could tell, your German pronunciation was pretty good as well. Happy Armistice day. Lest we forget o7
i never heard a non german person sing so well without learning the full language first, my biggest respect to you we dont have a easy language to speak or especially to sing very impressive
Wow, I read the comments before I actually got to your German rendition and I assumed that the people who complimented your German were probably just being polite, but I have to say that your German pronounciation is *actually* excellent! In some sentences I could hardly hear any accent at all, which is extremly impressive, well done!
To be honest, your german is amazing for an american. Keep up the good work. Edit: One question tho, why is the austria-hungary banner from bf1 at the top of the screen ?
Same reason the American one is, namely because I was looking for something that worked as a really small Icon and those icons seemed to be somewhat understandable, originally I did the coat of arms for the nation's instead, but things got super pixilated when they got smaller than "taking up the whole screen"
I think you've been shadowbanned by the algorithm. I've been subscribed for a year now, I've hit the bell but I have not received one notification about your uploading.

I have to say that your German is good. 👍 I personally am not fluent in it, but have decent exposure to it, and I think your pronounced it correctly.

We really do need a Ukrainian version of this song.
Given the current situation at the front and the unrest in the interior, yeah, this fits.
This all a damm lie
