Very interesting video thank you. I’m going there later this year, so I’ve watched many many videos on Vilnius. Discovered a couple of attractions in your video not mentioned in others, so that’s cool! Cheers from Australia
Amazing 😀 Thank you for your sharing to recognize me aobut Lithuania. I and 3 thai friends visited Vilnius and Trakai for the first time in June, 2023. People is kind and helpful. Therefore I will visit and explore more of Lithuania.. Lots of beautiful nature. 💛💚❤ Best Wishes from STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌺🌺🌺🌲🌲🌲🌲
Lucky Me! I searched for videos on Vilnius and your channel was first in line. Happy new subscriber✌🏻 I’ll use all your recommendations when I’m in Vilnius in May of this year👋🏻👍🏻🤙🏻
We visited the port city of Klaipeda in late May when we took the MSC cruise ship, didn't reach to the beautiful capital city of Vilnius simply because the excursion time was too short! We will visit Vilnius next time because of your amazing video, along with Warsaw (only visited Gdansk for excursion) and maybe even Kyiv when possible. Enjoyed watching your video!
What was shown as a Gate of Dawn was indeed the gate of Basilian monastery. The Gate of Dawn is farther up the Castle street. Nevertheless - great presentation!👍
I invite everyone to Lithuania. However, if you are not interested and don't know what kind of suffering and how many occupations we have had - please keep your light-hearted mood. We are free, innovative and fascinating only because we really and truly fought for our freedom and we can be proud of where we are today - sitting under the common sun of all of us.
Actually, I can disagree like a local person. Vilnius in winter have magnificent and cosy atmosphere. The Christmas tree every year is fantastic, and the lights is all around the streets gave you this Christmas felling.
Dankjewel, dit heb je echt super mooi gemaakt!,Wil graag Lithouwen bezoeken! Staat op mijn nummer één land die ik wil bezoeken voor de cultuur en de vrouwen! Wat is de beste tijd en plaats voor dat?
I once fell in a long distance love with a Lithuanian Girl. She was the most beautiful woman i've ever seen in my life. Sadly, we aren't together anymore after 10 years
I'm currently researching after i got to know a woman from Lithuania. She ain't beautiful, she ain't skinny, but she's tall and as a shorty myself I like the leggy women! 😅
@@milan51259 would benefit your kids in the long run. Wouldn't you agree ? For me personally, i'm looking for a rich DNA for the future generations to come. Not to mention the fact that Lithuanian women aren't very fond of producing babies and that is resulting in their declining population.
Hello friends, May I please ask someone who lives in Vilnius to let me know how the weather looks like in March and April? I’m from Los Angeles and will be there for two months in 2024 so I would like to be mentally prepared! TY 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your replies, I wish I could change the date I have an obligation that need to be there mid March. I guess I need to buy lots of big jackets.
I'm an American. I watched your video. You chose to give facts and not opinions. I think a combination would have improved it. You also didn't share what you didn't like, if anything, about the city or the country. No warnings or complaints. Also, you may not have planned it to be most useful for Europeans, but that is the way it turned out. For travelers from other continents, they are usually going to need some sort of scale rating, for sights and attractions. Our Rick Steves guides have triangles, with 3 meaning 'can't miss', 2 meaning 'try hard to see' and 1 meaning 'worthwhile.' Europeans can just buy a cheap ticket, and go for a week at a time, and travel with a carry on. They can go for a long weekend or a week, here and there and have much more time, to just relax and take exploring at their leisure. Only foreigners from other continents who are idle rich or maybe UA-camrs will be able to match that. I need to start prioritizing my time as if I was a busy person. Anyway, good video! I would give it a 7. I get the feeling that a lot of UA-camrs are trying to cheer people up by exaggerating how nice their destinations are. I've gone to quite a few places after watching a UA-cam video, and found I thought the place wasn't all that great.

I'm an Australian living in Vilnius. Let me know if you need any ideas for what to do while you're in Vilnius.

A taxi is like 4 to 6 euros for 15 minutes with Bolt lol. Also you're not going to mention Bernardinų kiemas next to St. Anne's church? ;)
Never used Bolt before but a great discount deal! Thx

From what O know about the story of Vilnius, You are survivors. More than that, you are resilient!
Wasn't Lithuania actually just a lil community apart of Poland first?
Really and truly thought lol? you weren't even a country until Soviet Union collapsed...
Actually, I can disagree like a local person. Vilnius in winter have magnificent and cosy atmosphere. The Christmas tree every year is fantastic, and the lights is all around the streets gave you this Christmas felling.
You have an amazing voice!
Thank you so much!

Can anyone recommend cheap hotels close to Vilnius University. Visiting this August... Any suggestions would be appreciated
I will go to Lithuania in November and hold meetings. If everything goes well, I want to invest there.
@@easycooking779 good luck! 👍
Is mid-August a good time for travel in regards to weather conditions?
It is not the most bad time to visit. So hopefully you can enjoy the european summer days!

When visit Medellín, Bogotá and Cartagena?
Januari
The guided tour in the University is not free. On the website says 8 euros per person
Yes that’s correct. In the video you can see that you can visit one unique room for free.
