Yess. Love this video. So "Girl" is based on an actual abusive relationship Kelly was in that kept her away from the girls, so it's not entirely fictional. We actually didn't know when this song was first released, but she did a song years later in 2013 called "Dirty Laundry" that allowed everyone to connect the dots. Can't wait for tomorrow!

She is one of the best selling female artists of all time, has several Grammys and other awards, was one of the leading acts of the 90s, and she is known for her numerous hits and her very distinct and unique voice, trust me you guys would love it. I couldn’t fit all of her hits in this list, but I think these may be some of her best and most important songs. A week dedicated to this legend would be amazing.

@@DJ-lu5np At first I included that song instead of You’re Makin’ Me High because I did agree that it’s a must, but the latter song did go #1 and is upbeat so I felt it would be a better choice. Breathe Again or He Wasn’t Man Enough probably could have been replaced, but I felt that it would be a good idea to include a hit from her debut album so I chose Breathe Again, and He Wasn’t Man Enough is a dancey song so it would balance out the ballad to upbeat song ratio. Picking only five songs is hard for her discography 😭 I did my best.
Toni is one of my favorite singers. Love her.

Basically in Sex & the City the main character (who Beyonce is playing here) is a columnist and fashionista who lives in New York City. She's a writer and writes a column for a fictional newspaper called The New York Star and each episode would be her writing the column which would be the events in the episode.
As someone who also hasn't seen 'Sex and the City', something I do know about it is that the main character is an advice columnist or something like that. I'm guessing that's what Bey is portraying when she's typing.
