If you loved their choral bridge, then their christmas album would make your head explode.
sad they didn't do more of that on their actual albums and esp the singles. It's like what's unique about them but very underutilized. TLC could do Say My Name/Jumpin Jumping, Pussycat Dolls can do Lose My Breath/Bootylicious, but I don't see any group giving what they gave on the choral breakdown in Independent Women. Even groups that focus one great harmonies and have vocal abilities at the forefront like Flo/Sugababes/Danity Kane/Little Mix don't have the church-choir vibe that DC3 have.

Part 2 is quite divisive lol. I find that hardcore fans really like it but for casual listeners, it can be jarring. There’s no video but it’s worth a listen.

Not everyone listens to the same outlets or watches the same channels. They probably had after school activities and at night only watch tv shows not much time for mtv. So unless they catch it on the radio or it was an in school hit at dance then they weren't aware it existed.
