That was so sweet to see, Onyx is a mini Teddy for sure, the both have the same coloring and raccoon striped eyes, so stinking cute. Niko was a very good girl, I thought she might bark seeing them outside but she seemed completely calm, maybe bc King Milo was with her. Phil, of course, was his normal sweet loving self, it’s no wonder little Onyx loved being by him, Philly Bear is a calm sweet boy. I still think Teddy is from the M'Loot line. Have you ever looked into it . If so he could top out 150 + lbs my M'Loot ZAR IS 195 lbs. The American Kennel Club recognizes and registers the purebred M'Loot line as well as the smaller purebred Malamutes known as the Kibutzu line.
Most mals in the UK (female here at 120-130 lbs) have a higher amount from M'Loot lines rather than Kotzebue lines, hence the breed standard weights differed so much from US to UK - the US's originally based on Seeley's mals.
All Malamute puppies love Phil because he's their role model. They all want to become like him someday.
