I restore small engines as a hobby and I’ve always wanted to get into zinc plating. I always have to wire wheel the heads and clear coat them so it looks somewhat like zinc. Also, great idea sanding the carb like you would a head. Definitely gonna try that!
Hi I used to watch my granddad repair all kinds of things and could watch him doing it for hrs, long goes the day that things were just fixed up and restored, those old tools were built to last now things are just thrown away and a new one is brought in its place. Love your videos and I'm 59 yr young woman. Keep up the great work
It's sad that with every manufacturer and government preaching about recycling and sustainability whilst completely ignoring the fact even as near as 40 years ago firms were happy being small to medium sized, making good, reliable, robust and almost infinitely repairable goods. These same firms that now preach ecological responsibility, do so whilst designing and building goods, ensuring they fail within 24 months and are non repairable, leaving the plastics to fill waste heaps.
Great restoration - again. For removing labels there is a product called "Stuff Off" available at hardware stores - removes any label I have ever come across in a few seconds
@@AJRestoration hey I'm just saying, it would make one sick minibike. That's kinda of my thing, I like putting engines in just about everything haha that's how some of my friends know me as.
Awesome video. Thank you for taking the time to make it. I will check out some of your other ones. Could you explain or make a video on the process you follow for the nuts and bolts and what the various solutions are? I think this is fantastic!!
Bonjour, ce que vous faite m'apprend beaucoup SVP quel est le nom de l'appareil électrique que vous utilisé au bain pour les boulons et autre merci à vous
IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND WHO IS A PROFESSIONAL. AAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's good to see that you are considerate of the small animals.
I love nature, so that means the small critters too haha
You should put a sticker on the tank too I think it will look good with the fan shroud. Love the build !!!!
Not a bad idea actually, what sticker do you think I should put on there?
Your logo is cool 😎

That was cool, came out looking better then it would have new! Where is the generator part? I'd like to see that part restored too
I still have to do the generator part, I had a few other things I had to take care of first. BUT it will be done soon. (I hope haha)
Absolutely beautiful job, I don't know whether to put in on a mini Ike or mount it on a stand and just look at it.😊
Haha you know I actually thought about it.

You do awesome work on these engines. What media do you use in your sand blasting cabinet if you don’t mind me asking
The German system is clean before disassembling. The professional way.
