For everyone saying you need 700m if you just do like 1-2 flips an hour it takes 10 mins and it’s an additional 15-20m an hour so idk why anyone is hating and denying it’s good lmfao. You get what you put into it

The best part is that it's pretty much unkillable. Sure the profit margins may vary with the market but generally as long as players are impatient, you can make some money off of it
Most people don't use lowballing to sell items for their full value though, they just use them when they want to sell stuff fast. I've used lowballers to sell stuff a couple times when I didn't have hours to wait for money. I mean it sucks to lose coins, but that's the reason they exist, if people didn't need them, nobody would be lowballing.
for requirements to lowball you basically need to be a human price checker.
Knowing the price will make lowballing so much easier.
also I personally likes to play safe and also look at cofl prices to see if the item price may fall or not.

the legit only reason to lowball is to avoid ah taxes or sell an item that changes price alot, otherwise your just giving away money

As a lowballer, they gave pretty nice offer for the warden helm at the start. But the point is that warden helm sells pretty fast, so lowballer not gonna subtract that much coins. They offered you 240m. Which is around 11m flip cuz of the ah tax. Thay were pretty nice.
For a lowball definitely, the point i was trying to make was just keep the money in your own pocket

I got a rift prism yesterday, lowballers were offering me 800m-1b while they were 1.4b lb, saying they were 1.2 before and never sold, put it on ah for like 5 hours and it sold for 1.33b

Uh your warden helmet example was inaccurate. Not sure if this video was recorded before or after the tax changes(you also forgot to include tax entirely). For items over 100m you pay 2.5% tax for listing it, and 2.5% tax for taking it down - 5% tax total. For the warden helmet, it would've been 13m down to tax, giving you 247m profit. This is only 7m above what the lowballers offered you(their profit basically)
Considering a decent in-demand item like a warden helmet, it would probably only take a couple hours to sell, less if you're lucky but we can't be sure. Still being conservative, a lot of people are worth more than 7m an hour, and would better put the coins to use elsewhere.
I don't lowball myself, but I definitely don't think it's any sort of "scam" or that you "shouldn't" do it. It's a healthy part of our economy. RIP tax changes

The way you lowball is subject to manipulation. Espically when you relied on AH to check the price of master stars, AH master starred items can have really high lbins sometimes.
You need to actually learn prices of items beyond just checking the lbin for it. Aswell as learning what weapons and items are in the meta and which ones aren't meta
I do agree to an extent it will obviously bounce back to the price of the 2 items but you can easily sell way over what an item is worth by crafting with stars, ulti enchants, etc etc because people are lazy... it is risky though
