flat bed table attachment....any suggestion where to buy one? after watching you wonderful thread sketching videos, I saw the smooth transition and flow that you have when creating your art...THANKS for all your tips and training, you are making thread sketching so FUN to learn

Hi Sandra - when I was using my old Janome machine I was able to purchase a flat bed attachment from Janome. My (newer) Brother machine came with one (as an optional extra that I chose to purchase). I would suggest you contact the makers of your machine brand, or look on their website. I'm not sure if there are 'generic' flat bed tables available to fit a range of machines - there may well be, but most of the larger manufacturers should have them. It would then just be a matter of whether they have one to fit your machine. If it's a newish machine then I expect they would. .....and thanks for your lovely comments about my work and videos - I really appreciate that!

What type of stabilizer do you use? Enjoyed the tutorial. Thank you 😊

    • @DeborahWirsuTextileArtist

Hi Leticia - This very much depends on the project - I use many different types, weights and brands, so it's a difficult question to answer in a general sense. I discuss specific stabilisers in more detail in my online courses - also check out my free article on avoiding puckering... www.deborahwirsu.com/avoid-puckering-problems-when-thread-sketching-without-a-hoop/

Its great to have a tutorial, but I am finding they are too "long winded" and obviously for someone who is completely unfamiliar with both their machine and sewing. In stead of simply saying, put on the correct foot, there are all sorts of instructions on how to change a foot. I get too bored to wait to see the whole tutorial. Sorry.

Not everyone has your experience. Maybe you should have kept your opinion to yourself and not be so rude.
