I bought one of these systems for our DIY 18’ van. We have the 5kw battery and 3 x 400w fixed panels on the roof plus another 2 x 400w panels that pop out from under these using linear actuators. So all up 2000w.

@@CaravanWorldMagazine The mechanism for the solar panels and actuators are all done. Next step is to fix it all to the roof. I have been studying relays that stop the actuators under a specific load and the ones I ordered have now arrived. If for some reason a track gets blocked we need to stop the actuator from working. Otherwise the actuator with more than 2200Nm of force would destroy a lot of things.
