- Learn how to simplify rational expressions. A rational expression is an expression in the form of a fraction where the numerator and/or the denominator are/is an algebraic expression. To simplify a rational expression, we factor completely the numerator and the denominator of the rational expression and cancel out terms common to both the numerator and the denominator of the rational expression.

that's what keep me going
No joke, math is all about simplfying. thnk you it helps so much
I need more factoring like this, please. Thank you very much
thanks
You're an amazing person please dont stop what you're doing you have really helped me alot
Currently failing Algebra 2 and it is the end of the semester but I still have a few more assignments to save myself and thanks to this vid I might be able to do thank you so much for making it
Thank you so much for this video. I live in the Philippines and my teacher is mediocre at her job
Nice.....
And you're also fun to watch :)
Yeah, it feels like I'm sitting in the classroom again (thats a good thing lol)
You’re a g ma boi 🙏🏼
5/8 hmmmm... the solution for the rational expression using the quadratic formula for factoring
How often are we just by luck getting things that factor and even more unlikely have commom factors in the top and bottom. Math class.
WHY? You don't explain why you are looking for a(c) or why you chose -24 and 10
a*c = -24 in the numerator, your b value is 10.
But how does it equal -24? How do you get a number from 2 letters and no numbers?? I've never been able to understand it.
@@paladinspride3187 in the trinomial equation above your a=8x^2 b=10x c=-3 in this case multiplying your a•c (8•-3)which are your a and c which equals 24.The ABC are just use to identify your variables from left to right
