@J DV think. She was set apart by God, for God. She is the one and only example of human perfection. He said His time had not yet come. Then, gave her what she asked, for someone else, by the way. She interceded. He obeyed. The Hail Mary prayer is lifted from Scripture. The Rosary is lifted from Scripture. Think. How do people say they take the Bible seriously and choose to ignore facts regarding Mary? Explain that to me, please.
Ah yes, the sorrowful heart of Mary being pierced by a sword from Peter's denial of her role as Co-redeemer is making this very clear and will be declared a dogma when the restoration occurs! Pray for Francis to convert NOW before more souls are lost forever.
Yes, She most certainly is!!! She is the one and only creature, that perfectly balanced out the scale for all of eternity, with Her on one side and all of Our Triune God’s Creation on the other. For a time Her, created, made Holy Flesh, carried and brought for the unfathomable, INFINITE, POWERFUL, UNCREATED INCARNATE WORD made Flesh, and was neither damaged, diminished nor destroyed by it!
Speaking of a continual Fiat, I think it was St. Alphonsus Ligouri who said that, if God had so willed her to (and if it would not have been sinful), Mary would have nailed Our Lord to the cross herself
There’s an article by his Holiness Pope Benedict XV-1914-22,well worth looking up. If his Holiness Pope Francis won’t declare infallibly Our Lady as co-redemptrix,his successor will. Though I’ll still say his Holiness Pope Francis is Peter his legitimate successor! If anyone is is unsure then please watch Our Lady of La Salette:A sermon by Fr Linus Clovis-it’s excellent. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!!
St. Robert Bellarmine, De Christo, Book V, Chap. 1: “But Christ Himself alone [solus] paid for us, and reconciled us to God by His own blood.” (our translation from the Latin) Pope Pius IV, Council of Trent, Sess. 25, On Invocation, Veneration and Relics of Saints, and on Sacred Images, ex cathedra: “… the saints, who reign with Christ, offer up their prayers to God for men; and that it is good and useful to invoke them suppliantly and, in order to obtain favors from God through His Son JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, WHO ALONE IS OUR REDEEMER and Savior… And they must also teach that images of Christ, the virgin mother of God and the other saints should be set up and kept… But if anyone should teach or maintain anything contrary to these decrees, let him be anathema.” (Denz. 984) Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino” 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes, and teaches that no one conceived of man and woman was ever freed of the domination of the Devil, except through the faith of the mediator between God and men, our Lord Jesus Christ; He who was conceived without sin, was born and died, ALONE BY HIS OWN DEATH LAID LOW THE ENEMY OF THE HUMAN RACE BY DESTROYING OUR SINS, and opened the entrance to the kingdom of heaven, which the first man by his own sin had lost…” (Denz. 711) Catechism of the Council of Trent, Part III: The Decalogue - First Commandment - Thou Shalt not Have Strange Gods, etc. - Objections Answered: “True, there is but one Mediator, Christ the Lord, who alone has reconciled us to the heavenly Father through His blood, and who, having obtained eternal redemption, and having entered once into the holies, ceases not to intercede for us.”
I disagree with Pope Francis' comments on this matter, both what he said a week ago and what he said a year and a half ago but I will say one thing in his favor: at least people are talking about this now whereas it had been dormant in the Church after a brief flurry of activity back in the '90s when Pope Saint John Paul brought it up as a topic for renewed theological debate. I mean really before Pope Francis opened his mouth how many homilies did you hear on Mary as Co-Redemptrix, how much discussion was there? Not much. So in this regard the Holy Father has done the Church a great service through his comments to provoke those who love the Mother of God to rise up to her defense. And I think that may have been his plan all along since it isn't like there was this great clamor in the Church to have her declared Co-Redemptrix in 2019 when he first said this. He is the only one provoking discussion on this matter.
Excellent Point! There have been times recently when Francis actually says something Catholic, I think he might be trying to send Out some kind of a Signal... (Because he's surrounded by actual Demonisc's, & failed to recognize it at first.) St JPII was lied to, & kept in the dark a lot, especially last 5yrs of his Life.
I guess thats one way of looking at it......but I also feel he is in the position in a few sentences to do so much damage. Another words, it would be a better debate in the church if it was NOT our Holy Father who was striking her down as a Co-Redemptrix but instead, rushing to her defense against a rogue cardinal or bishop.....as the video outlines, there is so much precedence for Mary under this title.....is he unaware? Does he really disagree with so many holy leaders from the past. I honestly feel this is another issue that is separating portions of the church from each other. It’s very sad to me.....
@@yvettehale6556 Firstly no I don't think that there is nor would I expect that there would be much of an awareness of what Pius XI said to a group of pilgrims almost ninety years ago. I am a big fan of this doctrine and I had never heard any of this before nor can I find any source for it outside of this priest's homily. Secondly I didn't hear the priest mention the sources where he got the comments by Benedict XV and Leo XIII. None of this matters to me since the argument for Mary as Co-Redemptrix is self evident. If Jesus is Redeemer she literally HAS to be Co-Redemptrix. There is no way around it since He used her human nature, her flesh and blood, to redeem the human race. But not everyone sees that and if we are going to make the argument based on papal statements we need to source them well. In any case for better or worse I am still happy that he brought this up, whatever his motives, because it does need to be discussed more.
Christ ALONE redeems. Not Mary. I am a Catholic, but this is Heresy, and in direct opposition to Church doctrine. Mary is the Mother of God, Queen in Heaven, and Perpetual Virgin, but NOT Co-Redemptrix, as Christ is the one who died on the cross, and not Mary. Revere our Blessed Mother, and respect Christ our Savior
@@l0r3st0 It is heresy, it is not a part of the Dogma, and the Pope has already declared her NOT TO BE Co-Redemptrix. "Co" , as in the title Co-empror, implied equivalency. Mary is not the Covenant, she is the new Ark of the Covenant, the new holy vessel, with the Covenant only being Jesus.
Did you listen to anything he said? I am getting really tired of these dimwit commenters who refuse to listen when the priest explains what co redemptrix means and why it doesn't conflict with the doctrine of Christ as sole redeemer and mediator and start shouting "heresy! heresy! One Mediator! heresy! heresy!" Either listen to the priest and address the arguments he made or shut up and go back to your father whose works you do.
Listen to the homily again. It is clearly explained. "Co-" from the Latin means "with". The Church does not rely on modern American English to define doctrine or interpret the God's word. "Co" in this usage does not imply equality, or sharing in the redemptive power of Christ and was added precisely to prevent such a misinterpretation of "redemptrix". Mary's "co-redemptrix" role was to cooperate with God's will for her to be the mother of Christ. There is no heresy here. It is ironic that the modernists bristle at the term "co-redemptrix" for Mary, the Mother of our Lord and Savior, but have no problem with Vatican II and the modern catechism stating that Islam "shares in the plan of salvation" as one of the first to do so, despite being a pagan religion that has absolutely no salvific grace or participation whatsoever. That actually is heresy. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, and none in Islam.
It’s very sad how protestants have allowed themselves to be so deceived by the evil one when it comes to Our Blessed Mother. God bless all Protestants atheists and agnostics please come home to the kingdom of God in earth the holy Catholic Church. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!!
Amen. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
hi Yvette, your very welcome. God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!!
Ora pro nobis
You want to settle this debate? Pray to Mary especially under her titles Immaculate Heart and Lady of Sorrows. You’ll get your answer.
He refuses her nothing. What better advocate could you hope for? She was set aside by God, for God.

Someone should transcribe these videos so I can quote it when debating with protestants to dunk on them.

Mothers who lose children have solace. Mother and child are one unit for nine months. She is not an ordinary woman like the Protestants say.
Amen 👍
Do you actually do eastern stuff like your usernames says and describes? It’s not exactly in line with the zcatholic Church
Mary, co-redemptrix, sounds like kryptonite to Protestantism to me. I love it.
