I'm glad to hear you call Him the Holy Ghost, Father. I didn't know we call the Holy Spirt that. I remember that happily from my childhood as a Protestant, but now a Catholic since 2004. It's a name for Him that I am fond of. Thank you. And thank you for this excellent video. I am doing a consecration to Mary through the Hallow app (33 days to morning glory) and this explains it well. Still a lot of digest, but your explanation makes it nearer. God bless you!
Dios le pague reverendo Padre por esta enseñanza y asi, aparte de darle el honor y veneracion que merece nuestra Madre Santisima, defenderla de las ofensas de los que no la aman como Madre de Dios y Madre Nuestra tambien.
I like what you said, Fr. Michael, that God showering us His grace in not like Math. His abounding grace, He doesn't need to take grace from one to another.
I don't base truth on what someone says, but what the Bible says. There is one mediator between God and man and that is Christ Jesus...1st Timothy 2:5. Now you can call me a heretic, but I am quoting from the Bible. This isn't my own interpretation, but its the word. You need to stop venerating Mary and acknowledge that yes she is blessed, yes she is Jesus's mother and she should be honored but no more than that. When you divert your eyes from Christ to Mary that angers Christ. Remember that Christ is our only mediator. Mary would say the same. I love you even if you stone me.
Thank you father! here are two more questions if you have the time: 1/ Does this mean that all graces CAN be mediated by Our Lady, or ARE/MUST be meditated by her? 2/ Is this an official doctrine of the church or an unofficial teaching, or a title given to our Blessed Mother, if so by whom?
To become a saint in the Catholic Church, the deceased has to be responsible for a miracle through his intercession. If ALL graces come through Mary, how is that possible? What about Joseph, Jesus' earthly father? Can we not pray to him? Or does he have to go through Mary - in a sense get her permission before he can intercede with his own Son? This priest, God bless him, claims to speak for the Church when in reality the words of the mass and Church tradition contradict him.
Blessed Pope Pius IX, Ubi primum, 2 February 1849: "God has committed to her the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation. For this is His will, that we obtain everything through Mary." God bless you.
He replaces the Holy Spirit who he speaks of in the beginning of the video as being the one who God's grace comes from with Mary. Mary and the Holy Spirit of God are not the same. Mary is a created being and not devine.
So when they sa Mary is mediatrix of all graces it means Mary gaved birth to Jesus and then she gaved graces to all of us ? Or maby it means that she is right now in this moment mediatrix of all graces for all people; protestants, orthodox, and chatolics between us and God 🤔
Thank you for your comment. Both scenarios are correct. The Blessed Virgin Mary is truly the Mother of all Christians for She personally communicates to our souls the grace by which we are regenerated in Baptism. Likewise, every grace which we receive throughout our lives comes to us through Her. This is true also in regard to non-Catholics and unbelievers. God is continually sending graces to everyone living in this world, through the Maternal hands of Our Lady. For those living in the true Church and habitually in the state of sanctifying grace, these graces are intended to lead us to greater levels of sanctity. For fallen Catholics, to a restoration of the life of grace. And for those outside of the Church (whether heretics or unbelievers), to true faith and repentance. God bless you.
It is not logical that Mary is the Mediatrix of all grace. To say that is to say that she was the mediatrix of grace to herself. That does not seem possible. How could the graces she received flow through her to herself. This sounds like word salad but, nevertheless, it breaks the rule that Mary is the mediatrix of "all" grace.
"For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:" [1 Timothy 2:5] How can this be true if it is Mary that mediates between Jesus (who is God) and men?
That verse is not saying that there are no other secondary mediators. If it did, then that would mean any prayer from one brother in Christ on behalf of another brother in Christ would be unbiblical. Obviously there are other mediators.
@@gch8810 yes that is called the Communion of saints. Of which Marry is supreme, as the Queen of Heaven. But saying she is the mediatrix of ALL grâce implies that she is the ONE mediator not A mediator. Mary is not only A mediator as are many angels and saints but she is the supreme mediator out of all of them because she is the Queen of Heaven. But she is not the sole mediator only her Son is. Because there is no other name by which we MUST be saved. In other words you can only be saved through her son Jesus. But out of all the Com-union of saints she reigns supreme over them all. And has probably the greatest power of intercession. It is a important distinction.
@@localfixx4184 if it is ever defined as doctrine. It would need to address the issues I raised. The bible is the inerrant word of God. Any doctrine must not contradict Gods word. Thus my question about how can the biblical passages be true, and Mary being the one mediator through which all graces flow also be true. There seems to be a contradiction. Are ALL graces through Mary or through the one mediator between man and God Jesus. Why must a love and respect and reverence for Mary be exalted to the point of usurping the role of her son. She is GREAT GREAT GREAT, OK but no matter how Great She is, she is not GOD. She is the greatest of Gods creatures. I think that some peoples zeal for her wonderful glory tempts them to exalt her beyond measure.
@@franktoyouAnd they are other saints, too! Yes, Mary is queen of them all, but they help us as well. Every Sunday at mass the priest prays for ALL the saints to intercede for us.
And he poured her out upon all his works, and upon all flesh according to his gift, and hath given her to them that love him.
Excellent response to an important question.
Thank you for this wonderful explanation, Fr. Rodriguez ♥️🙏

Jesus is God. He desires Our Holy Mother to distribute His graces as She wishes.

This wrong.
Who are you to judge ??
That too to judge the marvellous works of god…as wrong??
When you says it’s wrong you are playing a duet with Satan …
Explain your answer what is wrong in this explanation?
You must not be a catholic.
You are wrong.
