It is insane that James White, a Protestant, correctly points out that Popes have referred to Mary as Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix. However, disagreements about doctrine are not problematic for the Catholic Church because throughout the history of the Catholic Church there has always been disagreements in Catholicism such as circumcision and the nature of Jesus. Eventually they are resolved by the Church.
The Church is changing the name "co-redemptrix" because the title is very deceiving to someone who is unaware of what the doctrine is. The Church still believes what the doctrine contains.

Unfortunately you do not remain on focus. Just to be clear: Mary is not the co-redemptrix and won't be. It has not and won't be approved. Why this popped up today, 4 years after your incoherent talk, is surprising.
I kinda like the fact that this guy knows a stretch about the Catholic Church, but I think this guy needs to contextualize when it comes to Co-Redemptrix. The actual theology is actually permissible to Catholic Christians since it would just equate to a unique “cooperation” to God’s salvation. Co in Latin would be Cum meaning “with”. In a sense, every Christian is a cooperator in God’s redemption; we are the Mystical Body of Christ. Appropriate that to the blessed lady and you have “Co-Redemptrix”. Going back to the issue, Popes after the Second Vatican Council distanced themselves to the term. It becomes disused. Since Catholics (most probably beyond conservative circles) are not that catechized enough, it could lead in the misleading of many. It is worth noting that it is very nuanced especially in English since “co” implies “equality”. The meaning still stands, but the term IN CONTEXT of contemporary Church perception is dropped. The infallible doctrine towards Capital Punishment was NOT changed, but the approach towards its modern utilization is shifted. Meaning, death penalty is morally acceptable, however with progressing sense of the sanctity of life and in many cases discovery of facts contrary to previous decisions (and other nuances), the Church speaks through the catechism that we are better of abolishing its use and utilizing other forms of penalty/ correction.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." There is no "cooperation" in redemption. I had nothing to do with my salvation apart from receiving it. God is the potter, I am the clay. Whatever the potter chooses to do with the clay is entirely up to Him.
Jesus to Luisa Piccarreta on May 1, 1925 (Book of Heaven): "In addition to Myself, there is my Celestial Mother, who was given the unique mission of Mother of a Son-God, and the office of Co-Redemptrix of mankind. For Her mission of Divine Maternity, She was enriched with so much grace, that all that belongs to the other creatures, both celestial and terrestrial, united all together, will never be able to equal Her. But this was not enough to draw the Word into Her maternal womb; She embraced all creatures, She loved, repaired, adored the Supreme Majesty for all, in such a way as to accomplish, Herself alone, all that the human generations owed God. So, in Her virginal Heart She had an inexhaustible vein toward God and toward all creatures. When the Divinity found in this Virgin the requital of the love of all, It felt enraptured, and formed in Her Its Conception. And as She conceived Me, She took on the office of Co-Redemptrix, and She took part in, and embraced together with Me, all the pains, the satisfactions, the reparations, the maternal love toward all."
9 And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are the true words of God." 10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God." For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. -Revelation 19:9-10 ESV 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. -1 Timothy 2:3-6 ESV
@@allisvanity...9161 The Blessed Virgin Mary is not ADORED as God. She is not God. As human, She is REVERED just as the saints are but more so because She is the Mother of God. The title "Co-Redemptrix" does not mean She is God. One reason to justify the title is that Her "Yes" to Angel Gabriel in the Annunciation made it possible for Her to bear Jesus, the Redeemer, in Her womb. If She said "No", the Redeemer would not have been born.

Right. Her cooperation. It’s man-effort focused.
Jesus to Luisa Piccarreta on May 1, 1925
(Book of Heaven):
"In addition to Myself, there is my Celestial Mother, who was given the unique mission of Mother of a Son-God, and the office of Co-Redemptrix of mankind.
-Revelation 19:9-10 ESV
3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

Mary was always going to say yes to her role because that was her predestination. She has no other role, besides being a disciple. She is barely mentioned in the New Testament.
The latria-dulia distinction is meaningless. Invocation, reverence, petition, etc, are only shown as acts of worship in the Scriptures.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1 ESV
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame."
Romans 10:9-11 ESV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
