- Arches are such a common element in free motion quilting. Sometimes we even do not realize that we quilt an arch. And they are in arches, flowers, crescents, Baptist fan, rainbows, and paisleys…..So let’s have some fun with quilting arches

I have a 1600 quilt and these designs will be perfect. Thanks.
Wonderful! Happy to provide inspiration. :)
I loved this video, because I love the baptist fan design. Thank you..
I am glad . Thakn you for the feedback. It can be that the next video will be also to your liking ❤❤❤
Great tutorial thanks! Love how you start with something simple and build up to more complex. Great ideas on how to make progress with arches💗
Thank you most kindly! That was the idea, to get you relaxed with easy shapes so you can recognize how easy the rest is . ❤❤❤
Beautifully done! You're amazing! I still haven't mastered any form of FMQ! 😀
Then it is high time to start: basic rules, keep the expectatons as low as your skills, practice, have fun and never compare to others, unless to learn. Give you time and be patient. It is all about passion and creativity not perfection! ❤❤❤
This video is a great skill builder.
Thank you for your feedback. That was the goal. I hope this video will be used as reference for many ❤❤❤
Love this. I am trying to lease more free motion quilting patterns. I personally like a lot of straight line quilting but want to do more on gift quilts. This are great tutorials and ideas.
hi again! I think line quilting looks great, but sometimes it is good to diversify. I am happy if I could provide inspiration and ideas. ❤❤❤
C’est génial. Merci😊
You are very welcome! I am sorry for responding in English, when I have a bit more time I try to trranslate my responses. Have a good day! ❤❤❤
Thankyou for this tutorial! (The recap at the end was helpful to me.)
I am very happy to hear it. I am learning not only as quilter but also as a teacher. I was happy with the video too ❤❤❤
I think that these arches will require a brand new skill set - different (undeveloped) part of brain and new muscles. I can easily see needing a week or longer to do these well! Thank you.
And that is perfectly fine! I happy I could inspire a new direction for exercise! ❤❤❤
Great tutorial on arches!!
I am happy you like it! I am trying to come up with series of simple exercises to practice one shape and increase in the complexity. This one was nice! ❤❤❤
Thank you🌸🌷
you are welcome!
Are you controlling the stitch length or are you using regulated stitch length?
No stich regulator. I operate by listening to my machine. I like the constant speed then I can tune it out. The stiches come out nicely, as I move the fabric at nice rate. I keep it nice and slow.
thx
you are welcome! ❤❤❤
