robert luong That's cool. Let's face it, every last one of those finalists in the 1988 Olympics were all busted for steroids! I've been told even Usain Bolt was on the juice too.
T & F archive Just because they weren't caught don't mean they were clean. Robson da Silva never would've gotten fourth in 88 if he wasn't on something too. His PR is 10 sec flat, which he also ran in 88. Keep in mind that when he ran that time, the current WR was still 9.93.
There are three beautiful words in English. Please Thank you and Sorry.Third one is very difficult to say and this man have confessed in front of the world beside his pride which no one have the guts to say than very few like Ben.I loved him watching in tv when he clocked 9.79.But things went far off to him very soon.He is always good to atheletes.
So many sporting cheats have been forgiven and forgotten, (by the media anyway), one's like Thierry Henry even got massively paid jobs, while Ben seems to be remembered for his just taking of steroids, I believe all but one of the 88 100 metre's line up were found out one time or another, but little is said about them. He used to be great off the blocks
he's impressive, all this power on his legs, the speed that he was able to achieve being 5'10 it's amazing, if he was 6'4 he would achive a 9,45s, he was so gifted with godly muscle fibers
It's a shame to think that if his coach Charlie Francis hadn't encouraged him to take drugs, he might have gone down in history as the world's greatest clean sprinter. However, there is no doubt that he was the best role model for me as a sprinter.
We are looking at a god in human form and he had to tell that female Sprinter to pay attention I would have had me a sleeping bag and and everything else out there paying attention to what he said some people do not know the art of listening

Ben Johnson - Canada - Self admittance: Steroids (1982-1988) 1984 Olympia Drugs Testing - Former IAAF vice-president claims positive drugs tests "capped" at 12 during Los Angeles 1984. August 1987 - Ben Johnson run new world record (9.83) in Adidas shoes and using performance-enhancing agents. He later admitted having used steroids when he ran his 1987 world record. Feb 1988 - World 100-meter champion Ben Johnson signed a $2.5-million, five-year sponsorship deal with an Italian shoe and clothing company Diadora. September 1988 - Ben Johnson run new world record (9.79) in Diadora shoes and using performance-enhancing agents. I have heard Ben Johnson's sponsorship switch to Diadora from Adidas was what caused him to fail a doping test at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. His explanation is that, in switching to a smaller sponsor, he was less protected than while sponsored by Adidas. . . . ISL Horst Dassler (ADIDAS) IOC
Ben Johnson was my favorite sprinter of all time back in 1988. Nothing has changed. He's still my favorite of all time.

Usain bolt absolutely was on steroids.

James Kira most that aren’t, won’t be
I heard that he was close to his mom and would take her to church. That sounds very sweet and precious to me!
One of the best!!! Incredible start.the true gold olimpic medal seoul 1988 for me!!
Yup!👍🏿
Ben Johnson was the best explosive starter out of the blocks unmatched even to day
In modern conditions, he would not only be the best at the start, but also, in principle, the world record holder at distances of 60 and 100 meters
Ben Johnson is evergreen superstar of 100m
Great man. He still has lot of power.
He does! he'd have even more just by getting the extra weight off.
Ben johnson is the best of the best
Still has that impressive start.
Nothing changed for me still the golden winner of Olympic Games 88.🎉🎉🎉

Probably taken from Charlie Francis.

Naoufal Takroumt sherlock
Lol
He was set up
APBC Technique and UK Osteopathy decent proof
Guess what? That dirty Carl Lewis is hated and people love Ben.
W t f? He fall down lol cant stop laughing!!
He did not fall. He explained that you should jump off the blocks with both feet.
WHO'S READY FOR JUICE?

A drug cheater and a fraudster from 1986 to 1988 when he was caught red handed. Period!
@Balla Michael Magury He was made a scapegoat there were many others who tested dirty but were never punished, do some research, period!

Imagine Ben Johnson as a coach? He'll be "juicing" all his athletes lool
They were all juicing, he had to, to stay competitive
Don't think you can win much without the juice these days, puts you at a great disadvantage
