Great vid Robbie! The fact that your dad can hang and toss musky lures with you is pretty special. Great job with multiple musky in a day. I see your confidence building in everything your doing now. Well done. Hey- I think we need a musky hunt with you and Lee again soon.
Ive spent time portating in northern algonquin for 3 nights straight looking for some water/skis that have never seen what i had. Totally worth it to pass it down to your kids!
Caught my first ever musky on musky tackle two nights ago. Not used to the fight being so short, kinda like the lighter tackle fight better but I know it’s not good for the fish.
If you’re in for the fight carp are probably your best bet, musky for many is about the bite or maybe the grip and grin for some. Welcome to the addiction though!
When I’m fishing and catch a fish and cut hooks and don’t have my box of pre-sharpened hooks, I will rob a hook off another bait in the box. Of course I always have my split ring pliers as I don’t use any snaps. Snaps are the weakest link in any Muskie outfit.
Yo brother, gotta pick your brain I got a rod in mind already a g loomis bait casting rod in mind but I need the 400 tranx but do you know if left hand retrieve is the 401? And do you recommend the fast gear ratio or the slower.
@@TodaysAngler thanks a lot! I know you recommend the assault sticks but I think I’m going to pair it with the g loomis muskie rod MUR 964c its 1 to 4 oz.
Yeah when you watch it as they're fighting those 'skies it hardly rocks at all. Sturdy canoe. Do you ever fly fish for 'skies? Apologies if you have vids out of that, have yet to see them
Catching musk with the pop's hellllll yeahhhhh babbbyyyy 😁😁😁
That boatside blowup was awesome! It's always great to see you fishing with your dad l! Cherish those memories!

Good ole honey hole's
I just caught my first ever musky and it was a 38 inch tiger I don’t think I’ll ever pick anything up other than a musky rod from now on 🤣
Awesome video again with your dad. That leaping musky was sick!
Just started watching the channel, love all of your content! Hoping to book a muskie trip next spring with you guys

401 is Left hand retrieve
What Nathan said and go for the high gear, you can always slow down.

@@TodaysAngler last but not least what line should I honestly run? I really like suffix 832 braid but I like the power pro super 8.
Nursery pond. Robbie how stable is your canoe for fly fishing?
He is standing throwing that big assault rod around so I would say you could get away with it
Pretty darn good. Fiberglass with a good keel.

Kamikaze musky, hooked itself at boat side. Awesome!
Man those are some amazing fish! Never got the chance to catch one yet. Hoping too soon for my channel🔥
I didn’t know Muskies could live in a pond
