- Although I'd heard great things about these Slugs, I really didn't expect this ?!
My Leshiy 2 Setup:
.25 Calibre
450mm Length Barrel
2 x .09mm Jets
Puk hole size is usually 1.5mm but as it was mislaid when I made this video, a Puk with a larger hole was used.
Regulator Pressure set at approx 105 Bar
Scope used: Hawke Vantage 6-24x50

You need to bore match the slugs to Leshiy 2. The L2 bore is slightly bigger than most other air guns on the market. You need to use .254 diameter slugs. Changing the mags will stop slugs from falling through, but won’t help the accuracy.
AVS and NSA make them specifically for L2. They perform really well. Good luck!

unfortunately they don’t seem to make options for the .35/9mm model yet. It should be noted that the .35 Leshiy 2 likes .358 slugs the best, between 86 and 94 gr.
2 factors: Slugs for Leshiy 2 need to be .001 larger than the pellets typically(for example, the .35 cal takes .357 pellets but prefers .358 slugs. Go figure!
Second, you need to tune your gun to your ammunition. Always. When you use a different grain projectile it will require different regulator pressure. It’s not plug & play when looking to step up to superior accuracy. Also, Leshiy 2 is less about tack driving accuracy and more about rapid follow-up shots. With pellets you can hit a golf ball at 50 meters all day. But if you want to do the same at 100+ you will have to find consistent ammunition and tune your rifle.
Most Leshiy 2 owners report hating the FX Hybrids and I suspect it’s from not tuning them or problems with the magazines.

Most slugs shoot just fine when using a slug mag but when this video was made, those mags were not available.
I think with the magazine made especially for slugs the result will be better.

The new slug magazines are out but I think the price is insane. 117 Euro's per piece. I think it's only fair hat Edgun provides these slug magazines for free to people that bought this gun because the Edgun website stated that the L2 shoots pellets and slugs and they do NOT. People have to be more assertive about this stuf because we always tolerate these kinda things and spend the extra money. We are talking about a 2500 Euro air gun. It should have come with the gun, period. I would send a complaind to Edgun demanding a free set of slug mags. You will probably get nothing, but maybe . . . who knows, if more people start to do this . . .

I’d go as far to say horrendous !! And when you think they are about £16.00 for just 100 slugs, unless the EdGun slug magazine drastically improves it, they aren’t worth anything !!
@@5euk Yes! Exactl! . Either Ed's factory sends magazines with exact 6.35 or the slugs for free. I had similar problems with Hubem K1 . 25 too. Here in Brazil we have good manufacturers of special slugs. It met my need momentarily. But the high costs per unit made me sell it quickly and go back to. 220. I hope everything works out for you.
