I think Readymag it’s the best tool if you want to create something that doesn’t look like a template! The only thing is that it can get a bit overwhelming if you have a bigger website with so many layers (I even recorded a video about that lately, coz i think it's good to know those things before you decide to buy a plan)
You can also take a look at another website builder called Tilda. It's also pretty easy to use and has almost the same drag-and-drop feature as Readymag, but in my opinion it's a bit easier to use.
I currently use squarespace and I just wonder about how the prices compare? Like I can see the personal portfolio site is slightly more expensive but it seems to be more full service... I am just not good at web design at all.
woww I love ur energy + I'm restarting my Readymag Portfolio website! I resonate so much with the 'Skill Issue' aversion to web design, but now that i've been doing stuff in Blender 😵💫 I think Readymag should be ok so thanks for breaking things down into Attainable pieces. I love the humor and your approach! 👏🏽🤍
I'm here 2 years later, and by now you've probably already learned this haha, but "leading" is pronounced "led" (like pencil lead), because back in the day typesetters would use lead to space type in print. Anyway, thanks for the vid!
I really want to see a freelance contract that is fun to look at + maybe less wordy. Design ellioteration for previous projects could also be fun. Anyway, elliot you get back to whatever you were doing. (Two puns are better than one)
Ok but can readymag be used to create websites that dont look like myspace pages? I have yet to find a template or website example made with this tool that looks decent...
Thank you!! I've been meaning to find a web-building tool with more in-built creative tools for design/animators Previously used Cargo but the templates are slightly too rigid for me and require coding for animations.
Hi! This comment as kinda late and maybe you've answered this question already in another video - Do you use a third party for your prints or did you get yourself a printer? (:

This page you designed is so fun. It feels very human in general, and very YOU in particular.
Watching this at 1.5x speed makes it twice as funny/entertaining to watch.

loving the elliot content
How do you apply the font smooth code in readymag? I tried many times it didn't work. Maybe I use the free version that is why.
How can you choose if layers appear in a scrolling website or as links hidden behind buttons?
Might be being dense - but is there a link to your readymag site somewhere? (it's great)
Ok but can readymag be used to create websites that dont look like myspace pages? I have yet to find a template or website example made with this tool that looks decent...
Very cool Elliot ❤
yes, it comes from the pieces of lead they would put between lines in letterpress
not bad, not bad at all
Thank you!
readymag is free? can i use this for some comission website design ?
Thank you!! I've been meaning to find a web-building tool with more in-built creative tools for design/animators Previously used Cargo but the templates are slightly too rigid for me and require coding for animations.
