If we take DBZ: Kakarot into account, Doctor Briefs estimated Vegeta's weight to be 175 lbs(this was when Vegeta was using the gravity chamber in DBZ: Kakarot), meaning Goku would be about 189 lbs.
Wtf goku is chunky for his height. But lightweight (155 lbs) mma fighters are like in the same height spectrum and weigh like 165 to 190 lbs when they aren't in camp or dieting
Yusuke Urameshi would be a Nate Diaz or a Jorge Masvidal type of fighter. Not the most polished martial artist but would have an insane amount of durability, stamina and stand up would be very good mixed with decent to having a lot of power in his punches and all of them are street fighters.
Jorge is actually very technical tho. He just loves to make every fight a dog fight, but his skill striking wise and even grappling wise is still top tier tho
Really enjoyed the martial arts breakdowns on this one. I love hearing people with actual knowledge on the subject nerd out on our favorite fictional fighters.
In defense of Ippo's being at a huge disadvantage against kicks; during the Ippo vs Sawamura fight, Ippo got used to Sawamura's attempts at sweeping his feet, meaning that Ippo would be at least prepared when it comes to kicks, either blocking high kicks or stepping out of low kicks. Of course, if he took any low kick, he'd probably have his Gazelle Punch and Dempsey nullified.
He adjusted to the person. He still doesn’t train it so his body is going to forget it. Kicking him is going to work at least a few times. And even those who train against it can still be hit. Paired with minor experience against it it’s still going to be a massive weakness
I feel like a lot of wing chun's lack of success is in its training methods, the majority of Wing Chun schools don't spar, so the majority of them just don't know how to apply their stuff. If you want an example of solid WC done by someone who actually has fighting experience, Qi La La is a good example. It also has the issue that its optimal range is really close to grappling range, and even the schools that spar rarely train the level of grappling skills necessary to fully utilize that kind of positioning without getting taken down.
Yes a lot of wing chun schools are bad due to improper sparring and over reliance on the fancy looking stuff but The problem with this is that no matter what martial art you practice, you will suck if you don’t properly spar, and if you only practice the stuff that looks cool. This goes for any martial art you can throw out in the spotlight. A lot of bad wing chun practitioners set their primary focus on one thing like chi sao (sticky hands) because it looks cool but they don’t spar enough or they lack in other prime areas like proper footwork, leg kicks, blocks, etc. As a wing chun student I can say that this is sadly true for a lot of kwoons (wing chun school) but there are some hidden gems. I went into wing chun with the same ideas as you but It ended up changing my life. I think the main problem is mcdojo. See, the movie ip man did some good and some bad. It brought wing chun into the spotlight but now some people try and turn it into an industry without care for the proper material which in turn makes a lot of bad wing chun practitioners. If used proberly wing chun can be both close and ranged. And yeah things like trapping are situational but with practice comes perfection. I hope this helped and to clarify this wasn’t meant to be rude or condescending, just informative of the subject matter
@@AshtrayBanditReal facts any martial art can work but if it’s not taught properly you might as well not learn it and while there are some martial arts that are better than others wing Chung when taught properly is dangerous to mess with
You know what's maybe weird pick? I'd love to see how Spike Spiegel shows up in the list. 6'1, 155lbs, and a skilled Jeet Kun Do fighter with astounding durability. Using his opponents momentum against them. He's not a hard hitter with a nuclear right hand, but he will dance around the ring, and when you go to attack he will evade and strike you 3 or 4 times.. over.. and over.. and over.. until your stamina is gone and the weight of his hits *feel* much harder than they are, and he just blitzes you with speed. Even when fighting someone on an equal skill level, Spike can take a fucking beating to the point where you both just stand there trading slugs. If you don't got the feets, like if he's fighting a boxer, he's gonna out-range and out power you with kicks. Now, if he gets adapted to by the likes of Goku, or grappled by anyone in the top tier... I'd say he's done for. Imo, I'd place Spike in the 5th spot (maybe 6th if you place Vegeta as on par with Goku). You got -The big 3 -Goku/Vegeta -Spike
Spike would be like those guys who trained a traditional style prior to their MMA transition and struggles due to the dated techniques they’re still unlearning/restructuring
When jax talk about kid buu i laugh my ass off so bad and when sensai said he aint got no business being here i could not stop crying that is the funniest thing i ever herd i subscribe just because of that also this is a great video
I like this form of analysis for power scaling because most the time when it comes to things like skill and versus battles to people will just say oh yeah this guy has the all the skill when in the actual series you don't see him using all of the skills so I like it when people just use purely but the character actually does as a form of power scaling. I'm not saying other versions of power scaling like using statements is invalid but I like this form better.
Just finishing tonight's workout. Thanks for the inspiration sensei!🤘💯🔥 Bis, tris, lats and traps! Upper body y'all! Literally got a lightning storm going on in my background too!
I love stuff like this, getting into exactly how fictional characters fight. Glad Goku and Vegeta got so high on the list. I can't wait to see what you guys say for the lady fighters
I like how you broke it down into tiers. Love the shoutout to Kanoh at the end. But Im taking Raian in this one. If he puts forth effort, nobody is beating him
Absolutely facts. The only person who can rival serious raian (not beat him outright, just equalling him) when the circumstances are realistic is Ohma from Kengan Omega (I mean duh). Other than that there is NO ONE who I think will be able to beat those two if they get serious right off the bat in the fight.
What an amazing topic, looking forward to watch it ! Kinda sad that Rock Lee (Naruto), Sanji (One Piece) and Kiichi Miyazawa (the Tough series) are missing but should be good nonetheless !!
I would love too see more videos like this, Going over anime characters and deciding who realistically is the strongest among them if they were normal humans.
Amazing video, I love love love watching breakdowns of Martial arts in fiction by actual experienced practitioners. This one was super interesting, and I’m glad to see a more realistic take on this question as well because I’ve seen one too many toxic Goku simps try to -as usual- say he solos with no evidence to back up the claim. And it hurts me to say that because I’m a HUGE Dragonball fan lol
Lol the only people that say that Goku solos without evidence are just making fun of the nonexistent (or extremely rare) people that do that unironically. Only situation where this might happen is OPM vs. Goku and in that case it’s almost always the people who say Goku would win that have all the evidence.
What are you talking about? The common hot takes from no martial artists are either that Naruto characters have good martial arts or AoT characters have no business being analyzed
To go along with what you said while talking about Raian Kure. When the mountain sparred against Connor Mcgregor the mountain said it would take about 5 Connors to beat him in an actual fight. Like you said size and genetics definitely matters.
Completely 100% understand where you’re coming from there’s just too many variables in kengan I love their dynamics. all those things to consider I’ve been saying this the longest it you have to take everything into consideration that’s why I think it’s peak hype right now love the content bro!!
#animeufg. Well I'm a bit biased cus I started reading Tekken chimni and talk about it recently. But I think he is just so much fun as a fighter. And he has some killer strikes specially considering his height. As well as having he's own version of the fa-jin
Hate to go retro on everyone, and I know he's an assassin and mostly known for firearms and trap set ups, but I really think, because of the outright experience he has, Duke Togo of the professional golgo 13 would be the best "normal person " fighter
I agree with this. I feel like luffy could possibly go low middle because of his adaptability. Though of he beats ippo, it would be a katakuri like situation in terms of how difficult it would be for him.
It would have been fun to hear your thoughts about some fighters from Change Guy. Woo Soo Choi, inside of Kang Too Jee's body, become's a total beast by the end, capable of taking on fighters from multiple fighting styles, with elite speed, power, durability, reflexes, and striking. Even if he doesn't make it above high mid tier, you won't regret checking out the great fights in this series!
Goku really does have great martial arts skills he just doesn’t use them as much when in a heated battle. But a grounded Goku will use everything he has, just look at the Broly fight in the movie he was using mostly pure skill rather than just brute force. But it’s really just debatable

This needs a part 2 with other anime/cartoon characters included. Like. I wanna see people like Ichigo, Ranma, and Midoriya step into the ring. Also maybe make a woman's division one too. That would be fun.
Midorya is kinda trash, Martial Arts wise. He only really has the physical training from AM and his Quirk training. He just punches and kicks really hard, due to his quirk. Otherwise he's a small kid.
Hey Jax have you read 'tough' by tetsuya saruwatari, it's like Baki but imo the fights are even better. I' m talking about 'tough' btw and not 'kouko Tekkenden tough'. 'Tough' is way better than the other one that I mentioned.
Trained with Jay Hieron before, i got whooped. At the time I been in muay thai and boxing for 5 years, and wrestling for 3, so I was already pretty well trained going into it, but I got whooped. Fighters, even those who aren't the best, are on another level, they do to much, its crazy. Though that was 6 years ago, and I never stopped training, I think he will still beat me.
I actually found a manga called Send My Regards to Kenshiro which is about a guy who studied pressure points and acupuncture because of his Fist of the North Star phase and got a job as a message therapist. It’s actually really, REALLY funny
I think Goku being 137 would be realistic during the Piccolo junior- raditz saga. However, once he hits the gravity chamber the guy is easily at least 165 with like no bodyfat
Super interesting video, I've been wondering how this fight goes since I saw the image on the kengan reddit. Also fight class 3 is another really good fighting manga, currently on hiatus sadly but whats there is awesome.
Yusuke and goku are my fav characters but man yusuke was a beast for a 14 year with no prior training to be able to fight somewhat on par with demons in the first half of the anime sheessshhh
Saitama contended with Garou, the “pinnacle of martial arts” combining every martial arts style, with one hand, until his power exponentially grew higher than Garou’s.
In the manga of greatest disciple kenichi, he faces off against a BJJ specialist in a tournament, and learns to counter them by fighting in a kneeling stance. The manga explains this as kenichi not knowing how to fight shorter opponents, and he uses this technique as a stop-gap, but I suspect by the time he is an adult, he at least has some counter moves for grappling and ground grappling.
@@echofoxtrotwhiskey1595 Right. It doesn't work. Which is why I think Kenichi would learn real ground grappling as an adult. The story sets up for it, but the manga doesn't really get a chance to elaborate.(cause it ends)
To be fair with Baki though, he's never really had to use defensive/offensive grappling before since he can just one tap people. He's shown to be able to do stuff as y'all stated, and he probably does have the skills, but he's just never had to utilize them in an extensive way before.
@@badasslama3228 Well yeah, but as he is as of rn in the story he could probably one tap most of the supporting cast that's A-Tier and below which is what I mean. Additionally he likes getting into slug fests so idk
I think the problem with wing Chun is that it's not battle tested, it's like aikido in the sense that you don't fight actual people even in practice. But Naruto and Sasuke are battle hardened, they have been through numerous battles using wing Chun, so you could say that their wing Chun is more valid then normal
The list should be Miu Furinji, Ochaco Uraraka, Karura Kure, Lisa Lisa, Sakura, Hinata, Android 18, Chi Chi, Caulifla, Yor Forger, Maya Natsume, and the entire female roster of IkkiTousen characters
Realistically, Naruto probably has more take downs being a Ninja. I took Bujinkan Ninjustu(only for a year). Taijutsu is no joke. 90% of it is using your opponents weight against him. Not sure if it's useful in an octagon, but still interesting
Some others I decided to add for for the hell of it Jonathan Joestar: Upper Mid tier, massive mofo with with strong punches, kicks, but we only see him grapple once and it was more of a simple grab, but he also played football so it can possibly change also he is 6'5" 231 pounds. Joseph Joestar: Also Upper mid tier, for the same reasons as his grandfather honestly, but he is also pretty creative with his shit, and also had a lot more training with Lisa Lisa, 6'5" 214 pounds. Kenshiro: I don't know really because it is hard to imagine his style without all the bullshit, but he did do a lot training with a traditional style, so he probably has a lot of durability, and he has strong hands, also he is 6'1" 220 pounds.
Takamura would be pretty high I reckon. Maybe between upper-mid and the top tier because of his size and natural weight and the fact that he has shown some kicking and grappling ability as well.
31:20 I agree, but it’s worth noting that Naruto is proficient in multiple different fighting styles which shows when he pulled out boxing for one of his fights.
I would argue that with Wing Chun, that's only one part of his fighting style, there are fighters who use alot of the hand trap amd sticky hands stuff well in actual fighting i.e. Tony Ferguson and esspecially Roberto Duran. So i think it's unfair to use just Wing Chun and because of that to bring him down to "mid-tier"
@@jashardwallington as someone who recently started mma classes after a few years of wing chun, learn some basic boxing, kickboxingf, whatever before you learn wing chun. It should not be your base state it should be used as an additive (i think wing chun needs at least a decade of sparring, training and changes in it internally before it can become a sport or a main martial art)
Love how jax acknoledged genetics. My own family is based around martial arts with me being a fourth generation martial artist. I am 6'3" and 185lbs naturally. My pain tolerance is higher, my bones are 3x harder, i have 5% more white muscle fiber and my reaction time is twice as fast normal. I also have hares heart ( my heart and metabolism is faster than normal: 120 resting.) Im not saying im the greatest fighter on the planet but ive got an advantage enough that people dont like to even spar with me. Really enjoyed the vid, it was great to see all my favourate characters analysed and compared by skill alone. Personally wouldve put raian in first but enjoyed it nonetheless. Btw, adamantine kata isnt real? Ive pulled of a lower scale version of that. Ive used it to confuse and brush off powerstrikes.

Im not tryna flex so dont get the wrong idea but my recovery time is really good too. It took me just one week to recover from a dislocated elbow and ive jumped from a four story roof and was fine. Most people dont believe me though so thanks
Yo, I didn't even know about "You Can Do It" before watching this. That song is a bop, fa'real! Also another good display of Naruto's Taijutsu is intro 9 from part 1, Yura Yura. Not as detailed but still entertaining.
i would say Goku or Baki, since even Master Roshi said that Goku is a Genius when related to fighting and not only that Goku can copy moves, he can learn by just looking at it once, like he did with the kamehameha wave so let say Baki uses that whip like move Goku would see that and be like: Baki: This is my move *Does the whip thingy* Goku: You mean, OUR MOVE In the Granolah arc Goku showed his martial arts skills once again when he moved his pressure points, ah and Goku can adapt really quickly, the move might work once but it doesnt work a second time. And Baki even in the anime is stated that Baki Learned a lot of Martial Arts...That is all i have for him.
*For a Female version of this list:* Chun Li, Mai Shiranui, Videl, Morgiana, Hinata Hyuga, Erzra Scarlett, Yoruichi Shihouin, Shura Kirigakure, Maki Oze, Rumi Usagiyama, Mikasa, and _maaaaaaaaybe_ Eightina (Android 18). Same rules: All nerfed to human levels, no inhuman powers. BTW, *great* discussion you guys. Osu!
i feel like garou has a couple things you guys slept on just because water stream rock smashing fist is fictional. -for one thing, theres his insane learning/ adaptation ability. He learns as he fights so the longer he lasts, the less effective your techniques will be, and the more techniques he will have to use against you. -then theres his ability to take punishment. yes, it would be significantly nerfed due to the fact that hed be at human level, but the ability to eat damage is really useful in a fight, and its something you'd have to take into consideration when examining him as a fighter, just like you would with luffy's flexibility for example. -water stream rock smashing fist is fictional, but there are certain concepts in it that you can extrapolate from, such as the fact that it'd probably make him a strong counter puncher.
Tbh…. I don’t think tanking damage is a superhuman feat. Ppl take hard blows and bounce back all the time. It’s like imagine giving a hard guy punch to Bruce lee when he flexed up. The tension of his muscles will be reinforced. I would feel like Garou can take down half of this list.
Alright that guy next to naruto sounded awesome. I’m with jax I need to read it and why isn’t the most realistic person in anime,Kenichi, ain’t here either. Him and rock lee would be great here
Luffy is also a good boxer, Long ring long land arc, Luffy has a really good boxing stance. I'd say Luffy would be similar to Justin Gaethje, lightweight with insane power
Yeah, as soon as I clicked on this video, I heard human abilities and thought Ippo won. He's one of the few who fights bigger fighters on the regular and if he can stick to kamogawa teaching and now try to prove anything, he wins it all. THE WIND GOD MAKUNOUCHI!
@@AlphaYT-tm2wp once you take away the superhuman stuff, everything about adrenaline control etc. that makes baki baki (including no demon back) he's really not that good. He is built only for his own universe.

Weight being an advantage/disadvantage is a huge deal when dealing with people of roughly equal skill..especially in grappling ..the mike Tyson analogy is interesting because mike himself literally never fought anyone his size ..he was the smaller man in a weight class where he could be twenty to thirty pounds lighter and a head or two shorter than his opponents but striking is not grappling and there’s a threshold somewhere around like 185 to 200 pounds where you can generate enough force to knock out anyone if you’re gifted and your technique is good..and Marcelo Garcia competed in absolute in Abu Dhabi..but still lol..pretty much no one is marcelo or mike
It would be awesome if you made a Tough Like The Toons for one of the best comic book characters of all: Dick Grayson A.K.A. the first robin A.K.A. agent 37 A.K.A. *NIGHTWING*
would have loved to see guts tho. I mean he is pretty realistic and insanely durable +strong. Like his neck is thick as hell wont be knocked out easily. But he is a brawler without a sword sooooo.
With the sword or without the sword? He really wasn't designed to fight people unarmed. So I'm sure without the dragon slayer and berserker armor he wouldn't really be a great martial artist since he trains as a swordsman. With the sword then ofc he would beat these people (if everyone is equal strength) but without it I can only imagine he would just be very very durable and savage like.
@@bobhydro913 yeah guts would just start throwing punches, maybe dodge a few but mostly take them all on. The only time guts gets knocked out is when he losses to much blood tbh
I almost feel like if there weren't rules yusuke would do better because of his street fighting experience but in a ufc he would definitely be at a bit of a disadvantage. Still holds my favorite character place tho.
Concerning Batman, I like to think that the regular humans in the DC and Marvel multiverses simply have a higher potential if they really put their mind to it. This means that regular joes and joettes are like we are, but those that put the insane training into it (like Dare Devil, Batman, Iron Fist, Black Canary, Lady Shiva, Batgirl 2000 aka Cassandra Cain or Karate Kid from the Legion of Super-Heroes) Also, the single greatest martial artist of all time in DC comics that is also baseline human is Karate Kid from the 31st century. He was introduced back int he day smashing steel bars and trying break a bar made of the strongest metal in the universe. He had failed that day, but consider this. The only people that were able to tear through that metal were people like Silver-Age Superboy, you know, the same character that could accidentally blow away a solar system by sneezing. The single greatest martial artist in the present is (probably) Lady Shiva (who is also a villain). How good is she? She can do low-key Kenshiro-like things like helping you heal faster by pushing certain spots on your body or cure a very painful stiff neck by squeezing just the right spot on it. (she did that to Black Canary when she was complaining about a having a neck in agony)

BOOYAH!
Female version of this would slap so hard. Make the list, then someone should totally commission the artist who made this to do just that.
Yusuke Urameshi would be a Nate Diaz or a Jorge Masvidal type of fighter. Not the most polished martial artist but would have an insane amount of durability, stamina and stand up would be very good mixed with decent to having a lot of power in his punches and all of them are street fighters.
Luffy's probably similar then.
Jorge is actually very technical tho. He just loves to make every fight a dog fight, but his skill striking wise and even grappling wise is still top tier tho
@@nhuanang317 there's no way his grappling is top tier.usman, coby, burns, leon, khamzat, chiesa and magny all outclass him.
I think Yusukes ability to contend with actual martial artist with his street fighting is a slept on.

Takamuru also hits him with high kicks and wwe moves thruout the whole show
He adjusted to the person. He still doesn’t train it so his body is going to forget it. Kicking him is going to work at least a few times. And even those who train against it can still be hit. Paired with minor experience against it it’s still going to be a massive weakness
Can’t wait to finish this, thank you for all the good times you have given us
thank you for your support!
Even of they did spar its all bullshit
@@unknownbear9811 those chain punches and traps are as practical as aikido
@@AshtrayBanditReal facts any martial art can work but if it’s not taught properly you might as well not learn it and while there are some martial arts that are better than others wing Chung when taught properly is dangerous to mess with
Spot on.. most wing chun schools have no pressure testing against a resisting opponent so they’re basically just larping.
You got
-The big 3
-Goku/Vegeta
-Spike
Thanks for the inspiration sensei!🤘💯🔥
Bis, tris, lats and traps!
If he puts forth effort, nobody is beating him
100%
Absolutely facts. The only person who can rival serious raian (not beat him outright, just equalling him) when the circumstances are realistic is Ohma from Kengan Omega (I mean duh). Other than that there is NO ONE who I think will be able to beat those two if they get serious right off the bat in the fight.
@@alexicon2006 What this is so cap
Bruh Raian is only good because of his super powers. Without his powers he’d prob get his ass kicked by half the list.
@@spaghettioverlord3247 idk when but I can already see somebody educating this young man about Raian lol
What an amazing topic, looking forward to watch it !
Kinda sad that Rock Lee (Naruto), Sanji (One Piece) and Kiichi Miyazawa (the Tough series) are missing but should be good nonetheless !!
Kiichi is the only one that’d be top tier
Sanji would be very strong but if he just has kicks he’s too one dimensional
The raid redemption is one my favorite films of all time. Great shout-out.

Well I'm a bit biased cus I started reading Tekken chimni and talk about it recently. But I think he is just so much fun as a fighter. And he has some killer strikes specially considering his height. As well as having he's own version of the fa-jin
another banger from jax sensei already can’t wait to rewatch
Booyah!
Legendary work as always Jax.
As usual Jax is way on points I died during the buu part overall amazing stream man!
Best overall skills baki.
Best hands ippo.
Best takedowns hinomarou.
Best mindset goku
Love that someone acknowledges Hinomaru Sumo🤘🏽🤘🏽
Goku really does have great martial arts skills he just doesn’t use them as much when in a heated battle. But a grounded Goku will use everything he has, just look at the Broly fight in the movie he was using mostly pure skill rather than just brute force. But it’s really just debatable
Nah I think Goku takes all
I mean, Goku have best mindset/battle iq AND one of the best martial arts as well, he must be at least 3th or 2nd strongest in martial arts here

This needs a part 2 with other anime/cartoon characters included. Like. I wanna see people like Ichigo, Ranma, and Midoriya step into the ring. Also maybe make a woman's division one too. That would be fun.
A lot of the Ranma cast would make for an interesting study in strength and technique.
Ichigo uses a sword he doesn't really box with his opponents
Midorya is kinda trash, Martial Arts wise. He only really has the physical training from AM and his Quirk training. He just punches and kicks really hard, due to his quirk. Otherwise he's a small kid.
Masaru Daimon would be good to add too
@@hihello-sk5ql he did take karate as a kid but thats about it.

Watching you two always puts a smile on my face, and this might be my favourite topic discussed on your podcasts so far
Anime UFC- Baki!
Lmao the saitama analysis was brutal but true. Luffy would be like prince yacine one of the GOATED boxer
I think Goku being 137 would be realistic during the Piccolo junior- raditz saga. However, once he hits the gravity chamber the guy is easily at least 165 with like no bodyfat
BUYA. Awesome discussion! It was really fascinating! :)
Super interesting video, I've been wondering how this fight goes since I saw the image on the kengan reddit. Also fight class 3 is another really good fighting manga, currently on hiatus sadly but whats there is awesome.
I think this conversation is a lot more interesting if you talk about pure hands. Like everyone equal stats.
booyaaa, really fun vid!
Yusuke and goku are my fav characters but man yusuke was a beast for a 14 year with no prior training to be able to fight somewhat on par with demons in the first half of the anime sheessshhh
I literally tried smiling like Kanoh when I saw their reaction to when I said in the live chat that Kanoh is 6’7” 1:46:00. This was fun indeed
Fang of Metsudo would be the ultimate tier if he was brought to the real world. His background is literally one of MMA’s favorite styles
Saitama contended with Garou, the “pinnacle of martial arts” combining every martial arts style, with one hand, until his power exponentially grew higher than Garou’s.
They all are Insanely great fighters. But BAKI & OHMA are just most fitted for UFC or BELLATOR
That doesn’t work though.
He's shown to be able to do stuff as y'all stated, and he probably does have the skills, but he's just never had to utilize them in an extensive way before.
i dont think he ever one tapped "important" characters
@@badasslama3228 Well yeah, but as he is as of rn in the story he could probably one tap most of the supporting cast that's A-Tier and below which is what I mean. Additionally he likes getting into slug fests so idk
Didn't he choke out Ali and Jack with grappling?
i was so hype for this video
AND I FUCKING MISSED IT
Booyah! I enjoyed watching till the end.
I think the problem with wing Chun is that it's not battle tested, it's like aikido in the sense that you don't fight actual people even in practice. But Naruto and Sasuke are battle hardened, they have been through numerous battles using wing Chun, so you could say that their wing Chun is more valid then normal
So much fun!
Great breakdown.
Looking forward to the Lady Fighters!
~_~
😳
The list should be Miu Furinji, Ochaco Uraraka, Karura Kure, Lisa Lisa, Sakura, Hinata, Android 18, Chi Chi, Caulifla, Yor Forger, Maya Natsume, and the entire female roster of IkkiTousen characters
I have a soft spot for Yuske. Him Vs. Kid Buu with no powers would be fun
Realistically, Naruto probably has more take downs being a Ninja. I took Bujinkan Ninjustu(only for a year). Taijutsu is no joke. 90% of it is using your opponents weight against him. Not sure if it's useful in an octagon, but still interesting
Some others I decided to add for for the hell of it
Jonathan Joestar: Upper Mid tier, massive mofo with with strong punches, kicks, but we only see him grapple once and it was more of a simple grab, but he also played football so it can possibly change also he is 6'5" 231 pounds.
Joseph Joestar: Also Upper mid tier, for the same reasons as his grandfather honestly, but he is also pretty creative with his shit, and also had a lot more training with Lisa Lisa, 6'5" 214 pounds.
Kenshiro: I don't know really because it is hard to imagine his style without all the bullshit, but he did do a lot training with a traditional style, so he probably has a lot of durability, and he has strong hands, also he is 6'1" 220 pounds.
nvm you already mentioned kenshiro LMAO
Good stuff man
This gonna be cool 🎉😁
I wonder where other Hajime no Ippo characters would fit in on this, like Takamura or Ricardo Martinez
What about the GOAT Woli jk 😂
Takamura would be pretty high I reckon. Maybe between upper-mid and the top tier because of his size and natural weight and the fact that he has shown some kicking and grappling ability as well.
31:20 I agree, but it’s worth noting that Naruto is proficient in multiple different fighting styles which shows when he pulled out boxing for one of his fights.
Major congratulations on hitting half a milly followers and to keep pumping our muscles through weebdom
Yujiro being there would be fun to see how y'all talk about him. He loves power
Lmaooooo those were his first words
Man, if you changed those MMA gloves to boxing gloves in the picture, Ippo would FLOOR everybody.
Love how jax acknoledged genetics. My own family is based around martial arts with me being a fourth generation martial artist. I am 6'3" and 185lbs naturally. Id love if goku would go on a journey fighting all our favourite anime heroes where gokus power would be reduced to the level of his opponents!!!!
i would say Goku or Baki, since even Master Roshi said that Goku is a Genius when related to fighting and not only that Goku can copy moves, he can learn by just looking at it once, like he did with the kamehameha wave so let say Baki uses that whip like move Goku would see that and be like:
Baki: This is my move *Does the whip thingy*
Goku: You mean, OUR MOVE
In the Granolah arc Goku showed his martial arts skills once again when he moved his pressure points, ah and Goku can adapt really quickly, the move might work once but it doesnt work a second time.
Osu!
That would be amazing
i feel like garou has a couple things you guys slept on just because water stream rock smashing fist is fictional.
Hercule would win
There's a reason he's the champ when the people with literal superpowers don't compete
No king from one punch man
Alright that guy next to naruto sounded awesome. I’m with jax I need to read it and why isn’t the most realistic person in anime,Kenichi, ain’t here either. Him and rock lee would be great here

Dick Grayson
A.K.A. the first robin
A.K.A. agent 37
A.K.A. *NIGHTWING*
would have loved to see guts tho.
Yu, and Aaron Tide from "The Boxer", and Tigermask and Tiger the dark from "Tiger Mask W" would have been nice to add to this.
This means that regular joes and joettes are like we are, but those that put the insane training into it (like Dare Devil, Batman, Iron Fist, Black Canary, Lady Shiva, Batgirl 2000 aka Cassandra Cain or Karate Kid from the Legion of Super-Heroes)
Also, the single greatest martial artist of all time in DC comics that is also baseline human is Karate Kid from the 31st century.
Great stream
