I wrote an article on this comparison. Great video!

Thanks. Design Theft or Innovation? I enjoyed your article. Valid points. Red and black were my paintball gear colors back in the day. I'm still a fan of red, regardless of who makes it ;-)

@ haha truth… I mean red and black just look good! I’m hoping I can check it out in person at Shot Show. It’s an exciting time… word on the street is Henderson is coming out with some new stuff to so will see what the future holds.

@@Blackplagueprecision - imitation spurs innovation. Have to continue to update/innovate or risk losing market share.

I have a Henderson case trimmer. It trims, chamfers and debuts all in one step.

I'll have to take a closer look at the Hornady to see if it also trims, chamfers and deburrs in one step...as that would be "better" than what my Case Prep Center can do as it's one machine but 3 separate steps versus all in one step.

@@ReLoadersBench It does as well according to hornady, I don't have the hornady model. They have a video on their UA-cam channel and they say it will do three steps at once, same as the Henderson.

@@ReLoadersBench Giraud case trimmers do all three in one step as well. Time is why people buy these more expensive case trimmers. I can trim/chamfer/debur 100 cases in less then 10 minutes. On my 20 year old RCBS prep station and wilson hand trimmer it took several hours. with my lymann power trimmer and RCBS prep station it took an hour. When I'm already spending way too much time reloading, If I can shorten a step from an hour or more to 10 minutes, I'll pay the money, if I can. I shoot a competition or am testing every weekend. So I need less time reloading and more time shooting and practicing. It's as simple as Time verses Money. It's not about, this is how I do it and it's worked fine so I'm going to keep doing it this way. I'm already turning necks which takes time and I have too because unturned necks won't fit in my chamber. I anneal every time I reload to get perfect consistent shoulder bumps and fire my brass 15 times. So I use an AMP annealer. It's fast and super consistent. The Henderson is fast and consistent.
Thanks for the video, happy reloading

@@williamsweet7511 - Excellent information and perspective, thank you. Your usage, experience and reasoning are exactly why this type of tool, regardless of price, brings needed value (time savings, efficiency, etc.) to various types of shooters/reloaders. I'm not as far along the precision spectrum as you, but it's good to know there is a tool if/when I'm ready to move closer to that requirement.

You get what you pay for. As my son would say "buy once, cry once". I just have to decide what to cry over and this product is probably not one to cry over for me.

Competition is good for the market/consumers. Fervent dedication to a single brand is a choice, but in the firearms industry, it’s fair to say opinions are as numerous as the manufacturers. I don’t buy based on an opinion, I buy based on cost/results.
Hornady will get my money if the price/hardware are right.
Also fascinating to see Hornady being dragged by people based on a photo.

They may be thinking the same thing about now. Competition breeds innovation so maybe their Gen 4 will be a significant change...and in a different color ;-)
