I think Valdez could've done a better job, terrible game plan from reynoso's corner to send Oscar to trades punches with a hard hitter, Navarrete has carried his power from 122 to 130. No rematch needed, he outclassed Valdez.
Yeah bad corner work by Eddy. He was still telling Oscar to let Navarrete to punch himself out and wait for that left hook to open up still in like the 7th-8th Rd and he was already doing that all fight and it wasn’t working, Oscar caught him clean plenty times and it just wasn’t enough to even blemish his face, I still think Oscar is more technically sound and his best bet was to outbox the other boxer not to use that high guard wait for Navarrete to gas a bit then hit w the big counter, bc they must’ve not realized Navarrete got a Prius like stamina throwing 80-120 in nearly every rd is insane
