  • The Axial Yeti 1/10th scale is one of the most versatile platforms on the market in Remote Control. It's a "do anything" type rig and the amount of upgrade/modification parts are endless. In the 2.0 series, I will be taking you on an adventure to see how we can improve the performance/durability even more and change up the looks of the Yeti. I call mine the "Not so RTR" because, it did start out as the RTR Yeti, but it is far from that these days!
Tires and Foams are the #1 upgrade anyone should do to gain performance on your rig. The Voodoo tires mated with the Crawler Innovations DW foams are a top pick from Pros to Joes!

The RCNetwork Well I do get the notifications in my subscriptions, but I do follow a few guys for different things like I have a few I follow for my driving vehicles and I have a few I follow for my flying vehicles so I get hammered with uploads on a daily basis, oh and I am a woodworker so there are those channels as well lol.

i think if you were to cut the yeti in half (esc included ) it would cost as much as my first car i got when i was 16

+burgsenior I bought a 1967 Mustang for $250 when I was 14.......Worked on it for two years with my dad until it was street worthy. I think just the wheels and tires for the Yeti were that much!

I'm doing an axial yeti score kit build with tekin, pro4 HD, rx8 and proline shocks front and rear. I'm going to upgrade drag links and all of that at a later time but for now that's what I'm working with. allot of where I ride is where I ride razrs and quads, soft dirt with gravel and rocks mixed throughout and it tears up my wheels. How has the finish held up on those vanquish wheels? They seem easy to scratch and mar....

They are anodized aluminum, so of course, they can look bad depending on how well you take care of them. They do have the "clear" aluminum or silver that would do better....if you're considering wheels/tires for your score....take a look at this video: ua-cam.com/video/mRD8r3P5LyM/v-deo.html

Hey, I have a slash 4x4 that is heavily modified with a shining star lcg chassis and i'm having difficulty picking a motor/esc for racing. Im racing on an indoor clay track (www.ocrcraceway.com/track.html), any suggestions? Price is not too much of an issue, can go up to around $350 USD if needed.

+Justin Stobert You can't go wrong with the Tekin set up - RX8 Gen2/Pro4 4600kv - That's what I ran in my Slash 4x4 Platinum that was pretty well modified: ua-cam.com/play/PL5_p3gwitPIm-RkhGvGTiTaaOkKmyi3nT.html In the series I was using the Gen 1 because the Gen 2 had not been released yet....BTW, I ran it at OCRC as well Depending on the weight (If over 6lbs) you can go with the Pro4HD 4300, but you'll need to gear up about 2 notches for the straight compared to the 4600

Thanks! And by notches what do you mean? Sorry a little new to that sort of stuff
