Sourgrass 4x4 Trail. A short and easy Northern California 4x4 and or moderate Overland Trail

This is a relatively short and easy 4x4 trail making for a nice day trip from the Bay Area, Sacramento or Stockton. Excellent camping, some low range rockcrawling sections, and lots of beautiful scenery along the Stanislaus River. Perfect for Jeeps, 4runners, Tacoma's, and Broncos.

Hi Y’all
Are there bypasses for the harder rock craws?
I have a lifted Bronco Sport with rock sliders but I know my limits. Been to Moab 2x.. Do test runs at Carnegie 4x4 playground.
Planning a overnight with a few friends and will be hitting some of the shorter trails off of HWY4. Will have a Gladiator with 37s and a 6G Bronco with 34s.
I was at Sourgrass in August but the group I was with didn’t want to try it then. Thanks for the video.

Are you still trying to go. I live in Sacramento and want to hit this trail but don't know anyone with a rig to go with. I got a ram on 35 muds with tube bumper w winch, and sliders.
