Backyard Casting: All the way from OZ ...

An other video of a casting party in my backyard. This time with special guests from OZ.
No kidding! OK, they came from around the corner. At least when considering the distance Australia to Germany.
Technical stuff:
Metal was a secret aluminium alloy, sand is oil bound (OBB from KBO), resin bound cores, Oil burner,
Last but not least: Augustiner beer.

are those castings to be machined? I bet that smells good. the foundry where I work pours white Iron and ductile iron and we use hot topping on the risers I love the smell of the hot topping burning
