Mine is just assembled with the recommended battery. It is 1/2 ounce overweight out of the box (Maybe a batch of heavy foam?). It is tail heavy with battery all the way forward. It needs a full ounce in the very front near prop to balance per instructions. Nose heavy without canopy and tail heavy with canopy. I hate adding weights. There is really no need for the pre-installed plastic pilot to add weight.

// Bend the landing gear slightly forward, and swap for a little bigger/heavier wheels. Thats what I did on mine as I fly on a grassy field.

1/2oz ? The way they these are mass produced , that's pretty good .
Balance it and fly it .
I have weighed planes from e flite and FMS recently and there were

    Thank you for the video.
You make landing look easy, some say this plane is hard to land and needs to come in with throttle- what do you say?
I have a DX6E radio - do you think it will work with this plane?
I went from Ember2 , Champ, Sport Cub s, UMX Timber and now think I may move up to this plane. I can do basic aerobatics with my small UMX planes and would like to improve those and try more advanced scale aerobatics (but not currently interested in wild 3d stuff).
I like the safe option on my current planes - it saved me a lot of crashes.
None of my planes have ever used a bind plug - what is it and will it work with my DX6E,
I saw a video that showed a bind plug with the Sukhoi.
The Sukhoi is 10 times heavier than my Timber and twice the wing span -
so I don't know how that will go for me.
Glad to see you can fly the Sukhoi in a football field size area -
I fly at a park and did not know if it would be big enough for the Sukhoi.

Great video. I own this plane and like it, been running the standard 2200ahm but thinking about putting in the 3200ahm that I have. Do you think there would be any issues? What batteries do you use? Thanks!
