Hey Earthling!! I subscribed to you a couple of years ago in a another account, but since I had School and was really busy with other stuff I gave up with the rc hobby. As the years went by I Just kept regreting giving up on it. But now im gonna get back in the hobby real soon. Btw: Nice vid :)
Maidened mine & re-maidened it the next day with a non-as3x receiver. Muuuuuch better! Original receiver caused horrible oscillation in all 3 modes. Fortunately I had a spare
I had the same problem with the oscillation, in the manual it says it will oscillate in stagility and 3d mode if you go too fast. Precision mode is for fast flying, but the switch for it won't work if you follow what the manual says for your TX set up. It says to set the U to 100% but you need to set it to 125% for it to work, otherwise you think your in precision mode but really your still in 3D mode. (-:
I just got mine yesterday and set it up according to the manual. Somehow the modes and throws do not seem right. I am using a DX8 and according to some forums, they say to reverse the trainer switch. (Panic Button). What are your settings on your radio? Can you confirm that the panic button is the bind button on the radio?
Looking forward to flight. Also, wasn't there a contest where we guess the amount of change in a cup? Cannot find that video. Was that you? Hmmm... Curious how much was in the cup.
Did you ever try the E-flite Carbon-z Yak 54? I am not too happy with how the SU-29MM flies compared to the Visionaire having limited space and trees around. I should have known from the lower wing area. It stalls and drops on sharp turns without much warning. I hope the Yak 54 is what I expected to get from the Sukhoi. Based on the Realflight models people uploaded, It can probably go twice as fast as the Visionaire and handle 3D well at slow speeds.

Wow, first. Do some videos of flyfishing for steelhead in SE Wisconsin or NE Illinois or NW Indiana. Much better than 10" bass. :-) Also, get into reviewing electronic cigarettes. Those antique analogs will kill you.

I agree with you I am not a fan of taping the tail section. I also use a bit of CA glue.

Yeah, this one came out like 7 or 8 years ago. Just a newer model available now. Very similar.
