Did you know it is the 2nd most popular semi auto centerfire rifle chambering in the USA, even beating out 7.62x39? It's also a popular bolt gun chambering now as well. Hence lots of folks have 300 BO rifles. With supersonic loads, the short barrels give up a couple of hundred FPS, so I am not in a big hurry to get one, although I may do a kit pistol build someday for the channel or maybe an SBR, who knows.
I have a picky 8 inch pistol that will only cycle with cfe blk. I have tried 4 other powders for subsonic with no luck. I see a lot of people using h110 and 1680 with success, which I haven’t tried. Sucks because my 16 inch upper will cycle everything I put in it happily. Any suggestions I will consider, Ty
I did not have great luck with H110 with heavier bullets, however some seem to make it work. Next time I revisit subsonic I have some Shooters World Blackout and 1680 to try.
I’ve heard people saying the CFE stuff will eat away at suppressor baffles over (a very long) time. Seems like nonsense to me, but does anyone have real data on that?

Sounds like one of those internet gun myths people spread on forums. I would want to see some hard data on that.
