I did this two- step process...and I must say it is wonderful. I use heena which of course I got encouraged to apply religiously by you but was always thinking soon I will be having more and more grey hair strands showing ....in fact I am in my forties and already have many. I was always thinking...how long it will be going on, one day I will have to shift to chemical dyes, will lose my beautiful hair (which of course I got back because of your remedies) etc etc but then today only I have completed this process and got black hair surprisingly natural black shade my hair... Tried it out. The result was outstanding.
Thank you so much for the guidance on how to apply henna. I have always been using henna as I have premature greying from a very young age. The only change I did to this process is mix the soaked indigo paste to the henna paste before application. (I prepared the indigo paste as per the step 2 process) Also I added 1 teaspoon of castor oil. Kept it on for 3.5 hrs. My hair is naturally brown in colour. With this process, I have got a beautiful dark brown on my hair. I tried this remedy on 8th January 2022 and it worked really well. As it is quite cold in North India, I used the Henna remedy that Preity Prerna has suggested for winters. I also added Bhringraj Powder and Amla Powder to Henna powder. Then I applied the Attar Ayurveda Indigo powder.The result was amazing. Even my family members appreciated the remedy after they saw my results. I did miss some hair strands that did not take the colour properly but this was my first time so I am sure using it on a regular basis,one can perfect the technique of application.

@@smitachitnis2665 As such there are absolutely and no side effects of Indigo powder. I have been using it for a few months and it's good for hair.
Just a little bit of dryness, which goes away once you oil your hair properly and wash them.

@@fatahsingh8471 Ji baal toh baar baar color karne padte hain after some time. Woh toh depend Karta hai ki aap baal kitni frequency se dhote hain, chemicals kitne zada use ho rahe hain jo hair care products aap use karte hain,etc.
Baaki maheene mein ek baar yaa har 15 din mein 2 baar karne pad sakte hain baal color depending ki apka hair texture kaisa hai.
Jaise ki meri sister ko maheene se upar chalta hai color, lekin mujhe 20 din baad lagana padta hai.
Yeh apko khud use kar k experience se hi pata chalega apke hair type k mutaabik.

Really thankful for such a detailed video on using henna and indigo!! It worked wonderfully on my hair.. I have had grey hair since the last 5-6 years and they’ve been increasing with time, all my friends discouraged me from using hair colour. But I used to find my hair too shabby as the white strands used to get dry and would stand straight right up, leaving no chance for to be hidden. Got keratin treatments down twice so that at least those white hair would look smooth.. but now I have the perfect solution.. also hoping to get my original hair shine, moisture and strength back.

Hi Prerna, I tried above 2step s process, where 1st step, bhringraj +mehendi paste didn't get my grey conversion to neither black nor orange colour of my hairs. But still keeping faith in this remedy, I continued with 2nd step, my hair colored dark oranges with softness after 2hrs.😢.Finally I wanted to attend the family function with the same look😢. Yet not washed but expecting indigo to give me hopeful results 😮

2 glass water 2-3 tspn tea
Cool down, strain add to the powder mixture store overnight. Then add flaxseed gel / mustard oil next day. Apply on hair. Cover with shower cap. Leave 3 hours. Wash no shampoo
Nextday 100g indigo pwdr with hot water soak it for 1 hr. Apply on hair leave 2 hrs wash. 3rd day use shamppo

Hi Prerna, I followed this and got black hair. Yeah after second step copper colour of henna turned black. I haven’t done shampoo wash. I will do it after two days. In fact I did one wrong mixing. I have mixed mehandi and indigo instead of being raj. But after wash it was like normal henna wash. After application of indigo I got black hair. Small white strands are inside but manageable. I have used atar ayurveda products. I am 42 and never used chemical dye. May be that’s the reason it worked for me. Loads of ❤.Thank you

Hi Prerna, I am a very new follower of your channel. Randomly I clicked your channel and followed this 2 step process. I followed it the way you said it to be followed. I was astonished to see the results. My hair actually became black. Thanks for generating and sharing such a herbal remedy. I am very happy with it. But I just want to know can I mix indigo in the henna application paste so as to avoid the tedious steps, as I had cold after washing two times. Please let me know if we can and in which ratio.

thanks for being part of the family.. you can add indigo in heena but that will not give you the desired results.. yes it is a lengthy process but will give you long lasting results.. also it will be more convenient to try this during summers now.

Hello prenaji. You always give useful information. I tried to use mehendi with coffee, Nupur mehendi. I tried to boil coffee water& add mehendi, add oil into it. I don’t keep it overnight, but keep2-3 hours. But when I applied, it comes orange clour, very red color. I don’t like that& hair also. I don’t want to use any chemicals & colour& die . Thank you for sharing these amazing natural hair remedies..I tried the 2 step hair colouring method and it covered all my greys. I have about 30% grey hairs and I did not want to use chemicals on my hair under any circumstance. But the henna indigo method has helped me in a big way. It even made my hair softer and more manageable. I would recommend this to everyone. Ditch the chemical dyes and go the natural way.
I applied henna + bhringraj powder on my grey, white hair but it turned out in orange colour instead of dark maroon.
Was your hair completely white and green or 50 percent white and grey.

I love your videos as they are informative as well as fun to watch. I have a question about Indigo powder. I have heard that you only soak it for 15 minutes as if you soak indigo for longer than that, then it loses its potency.

Thank you Prernaji.. I am using a two step application since last few months and stopped applying dye.. . i do get black colour after using indigo.. but when I shampoo after two days black colour drains off to a large extent.. how to retain that please suggest 🙏🙏

I support mam's all methods to dye hair black... For people who are saying that indigo is not giving proper colour.. then i want to tell them please apply mam's process patiently, it will take time.. because may be u have applied chemical based colours in recent times. So it will take time . But pls be stick to these processes and you will definitely see huge difference in colour as well as growth of your hair. I have concrete example. I just stick to these processes and my mother's hair are turning black.

This is the best remedy. I have premature greying since I was 20 years. Now I am 40, I have tried Mehandi, colour and all possible ways to hide grey hair. But all failed. I tried this method with the brands mentioned by you Prerna ji I am super happy with this... my hair after the 2 steps looks brownish although not jet black.. but I am happy with the colour as I personally like brownish and not jet black . I have done chummy now, I hope the colour retains after shampoo tomorrow

Indigo powder acchi company ka use kro ma'am n Atar Aayurveda ka use Kia h ya IndusValley wala bhi acche option hai.
