I would open the blanket and drape it over the arm. Then take away the fur pillows (they would be great for your winter decor), and put just the red pillows, navy pillows and the adorable bear pillow in the middle. You would then have room for the plaid, lumbar pillow behind the teddy pillow? The stockings are absolutely adorable! Maybe a wreath with a candle on the coffee table?
I like the red pillows, they match the red on your Christmas tree. I think a nice holiday coffee table book would be perfect. I think everything else looks terrific! ❤❤

I think this is one of the best Christmas rooms you have done. I have a thought about the fur pillows: Try rolling them into a bolster shape and use a wider ribbon (like 4") and just make a band around them, either in middle or at each end. That would solve them being just big and square. I would think maybe dark green if you can't match a red to your plaid. Maybe even a velvet to up the game.

I would get a large tray, 3 lanterns of various sizes and add the christmas balls all around the lanterns in the large tray and twinkle lights. I think it will be beautiful. I love everything, the pillows the fur ones are gorgeous. Leave them. I know as time goes on you will tweak things as you see them. Don't let other peoples opinions sway what you like. It is ok and up to you for asking our opinion, so maybe that carries over n doubting how you choose your placement. Your home is gorgeous, your decor is stunning. Half of us are no where near this. So at the end of the day Marie, do what makes you happy. That is what matters, cause we know everyone has something to say. This is your Christmas and it is coming along beautifully.

Looks great! I like the last pillow placement. --coffee table is definitely begging for some decor. Nutcracker(s) came to mind and/or maybe an off white pedestal candle holder with dark green or red pillar candle surrounded by a wreath at the base

Thank you for sharing you home! I love your all your decor! It may be the lighting on the red pillows. I can’ t tell for sure if it may be a brighter red and that is why it doesn’t seem to flow? The red in the plaid seems a darker shade. I love the tree and the sentimental ornaments! That is what makes it a home IMO. My mom has trained me to tuck a good amount of ornaments back further in the branches and not all on the surface. If that makes sense lol. Your home is stunning and you should just make sure it makes you smile.

I would tie a little thin red ribbon on each of the stockings. I would add a pretty bowl with some of your ornaments in middle of your table. Or even a wreath in the middle of table in with some battery operated candles in center. I love how it looked with plaid pillow sofa added too. I need that bear pillow next🙆♀️🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Im happy you are back home to celebrate the Christmas season. My favorites are the tree and mantel. The Pottery Barn pieces are beautiful. I agree with adding something simple maybe from your Christmas stash on the table. The red pillows were nice, it maybe the size of the navy pillows which I think you should keep that color. Perhaps play with the location of the blanket. Color selection is beautiful overall.
Maybe add garland on the lower shelf of the coffee table, Leaving the top open for a tray with maybe a centerpiece? Throw in a matching teddy bear!
I think replace the red pillows with darker green. The tree is perfect!!!

You could switch out the plaid pillows on the chairs with the red pillows on the couch and then take the lumbar pillow under-the-table out of the case and use it kind of like a Mini table runner on the coffee table and put some kind of a bowl on top of it and fill it. With Christmas ornaments. Or a wicker balls or something... And maybe a cloud bow that matches the pottery. Barn plad for the top of the tree and a couple of small ones for the candles on the fireplace
I think your room came out beautifully. Just commenting on the questions you asked. I think you need a small pop of green on the sofa behind the center pillow, maybe a small green throw draped over the back? As for your coffee table. I remember years ago you used a tray on your ottoman, maybe a tray with some small decor like a couple stacked books and maybe a few of your Christmas mugs? Love the red, blue, green, and plaid color scheme you used.
For tabletop decor, you could decorate with clear acrylics like trays, deers, angels, snowmen. Whatever suits your fancy. Since they're clear, it shouldn't look too cluttered/busy.
If you want the nadd something to the coffee table, I would add a round tray with a large candle and a bit of greenery. I would trade topiaries for trees, but only because I am extra and not because they look bad. I would add plaid ribbon to the tree, but only if you want to.
I think your coffee table would look beautiful with a runner that matches the plaids in the room. Top it with a candle.

I would use green or plaid instead of the red. That's the only change I would make. Looks very nice and not cluttered

I love watching you decorate because your style is so different from mine. I love the plaid and teddy bears! I like your minimal, simple decorating while at my house it looks like Christmas vomited everywhere 😂
An idea for the tree: you could add bigger ball ornaments in your color scheme but in a different texture. I noticed this year all my ball ornaments were about the same size. So I grabbed some big balls 😂 and it makes a difference!
For the coffee table, you could add a simple tray with a small tree, candle and decorative coasters.

The red is perfect, it matches the brighter bulbs too. Keep it all as is. I love the plaid, but the other plaid is just fine, or just put the one under the table centered with the bear, maybe behind it. It all looks great! Oh wait, I typed that too soon, LOL The blue pillow switch worked!, but I liked the red, maybe switch the fur for the red. Any way you do it, it will be great.
I looooove the print above the fireplace! This is my favorite so far but that plaid is my absolute favorite and what I use in my home. The stockings are just adorable and fit the room perfectly!

Love everything. I think the red pillows are perfect make the teddy bear pillow pop and goes very well with the tree red ornaments. Regarding the pillow under the coffee table, I think if u get a a basket and add a throw blanket and that pillow by your fire place would look fabulous. Also mini xmas trees on each side of the fireplace would be nice even tho what you have now is beautiful too. Coffee table a xmas book, candle, and or, candy dish is nice. I think everything looks great just a suggestion maybe get another lumbar plaid pillow to add and put teddy bear pillow in front of both of them and as for topiary trees at fireplace maybe the 4 foot trees from dollar tree plus again it’s looking great though
I liked the red pillows, but you are the one who has to live with it. I think a grouping of battery candles would look good with some sort of small garland/beads/ribbon, etc. or even a grapevine or pine wreath around them. Something simple.

Actually I love the red pillows cause it's Christmas. I like the fur pillows too. Actually, how are y'all going to sit on couch? I love your tree it's absolutely beautiful. You did a phenomenal job! I would leave the topiary tree's including small ones. Although, I would add white lights to them. Yes, I would utilize space on coffee table with decorations. I always use a small tree skirt put on top of table. Mine has Merry Christmas embroidered on front so it hangs over in front of table. Looks great. Then I just have random decorations sat around coffee table. I would utilize bottom of yours too. I was gifted several years ago various sizes of battery powered candles w/remote. I put those around coffee table lit up. Looks so good! It has several settings but I just use normal one. I love the Teddy bear stockings y'all have. They are absolutely precious! 💯
