My daughter is an Elementary school teacher and we have worked two days refreshing her classroom for new school year. It is such an exciting and sweet time…I love it. Her room is such a happy place and Dollar Tree really helps.

You are correct - not the same fabulous "vibe" and excitement at the Dollar Trees as it used to be - just another discount store (yawn). I miss the old "Everything is a $1" days.
They are still a great bargain for the economy we live in. I'm grateful for my town having a Dollar Tree where I can buy products several dollars cheaper than Walmart or Target.
I agree. It’s worrisome. What I liked most about $🌲 was the thrill of the hunt and this change makes me feel like the best bargains will be no more. Sad if this is the end of an era and I may have to find a better activity.

I have been SUPER disappointed in my local dollar trees. I have no idea what happened (and my stores were ALWAYS on top of things), but the shelves are never stocked, boxes are ALWAYS blocking the isles, and the staff just does not care. It's sad.

I have that same issue with one of my dollar tree stores and I heard they are gonna start shutting down all of the stores that don’t keep up with their stocking items because I have seen boxes for weeks laying around and it pisses me off!!!
The big issue here is that they don’t have enough staff to ring and stock. They need an overnight crew or something like Walmart does to keep up with stocking otherwise the stores are a mess and boxes are everywhere!

With everything going up like taxes and minimum wage, it would be impossible for dollar tree to stay in business if they kept things at a dollar or a $1.25. Nothing is cheap these days and staying in business definitely isn’t.

Canadian $Trees have been $1.50 for quite awhile. Still a very good deal!

I believe it’s because Family Dollar stores are closing and, instead of liquidating the merchandise, it is being absorbed by the Dollar Tree stores (who own FD). On one hand it takes away the novelty of everything being one price, but on the other hand I can get name brand/full size products there and not have to go to Walmart or a similar store.
I agree Dollar Tree isn't my thrift hunter's paradise anymore. With all the price increases I am not happy either. A week or two ago I grabbed something off the shelf, went to check out and expecting it to be 1.25 ea. it wasn't. Batteries are now 5.00 ea. and some candies are 5.00 ea. They had these items on an end shelf and the price in tiny font. I didn't buy it after I found that out. I will start buying certain items somewhere else. I bought those papers too. Hope you realize the papers are really heavy. They will be good for die cuts. Great haul!

I agree in a way it does suck that DT is not a dollar anymore n that they included the quarter. But one thing for sure is that they r getting better with the quality of products n in my opinion even though the extra quarter adds up, it is still much more affordable than the other stores. Tfs ur DT finds u always find some great treasures 😘🙂
I like that you show a ton of items. I know you are in your junk journaling era, but I’ve been watching you since Micah was in HS. I’ve taken so many notes on how you made her care packages and advent calendar bags. My daughter is now going off to college in 2 weeks and you’re showing items I need to pick up for her. The little note card booklets would be great for her chemistry class with each booklet being for a different unit. Tfs ❤️

Ever since they started that Dollar Plus section everything has changed. I have eve seen that they were selling floor fans for 17.00. Now they can charge whatever they want. Goodbye to "Everything's a dollar" Goodbye to the Dollar Tree as we know it TY for all your videos and your junk journal channel too. I really love them❤😊
My neighborhood DT is still at $1.25 for everything. We don’t have a bonus section. I was there very recently & the only item that was not $1.25 was a $5 tiered tray. I always have shopped DT w/a budget each time & it will b that way for me when the prices increase. I will still shop there when the prices go up.

The index cards on the jump rings would be perfect for recipes to keep them all together. You could use a command hook to hang them in your kitchen.

You found some nice school items. I think my Dollar Tree is even worse than before and I didn't think it was possible. The shelves are half full or less, boxes in every aisle. The chips, candy and other food items are often stale. Nice haul. And I love Loki ❤️.

I remember reading that the price increase was for the employees raises but I’ve spoke to several employees and they didn’t get a raise with the increase.
The dollar tree is replacing the .99 cent store and most of us shopped there and never was everything .99 so i guess we go with the flow and keep enjoy what dollar tree offers. Great haul
My Calif Dollar Trees now have :$3, 4, 5+ items in toiletries, shampoos, meds, toothpastes etc. Very disappointing.....they are more like a Dollar General or Family Dollar with prices all over the place....like the 99 cent stores did. I even saw floor fans in Dollar Tree this summer for 19.00. 😢

We have dollaramma and dollar tree in canada and dollaramma has prices that are all ranging. They all get mixed but they are all priced individually. I feel like dollar tree is going kinda the same way. I feel like they will keep it fairly low prices but stil have the variety.

The cost of everything has gone up at least in Canada shipping costs are so high for everything here our store is 1.50 for most items we are not a bonus store only a small area 70 thousand population base plus on the border of Michigan ! Some things no longer worth the 1.50 ! As Canadian dollar is 1.40 approximately to us dollar ! Buying less and less in this store ! Groceries are continually going up every month ! Eliminating a lot of meals now eating most days just twice a day ! Now I am on fixed income at 70 years young ! Cannot keep supporting these grocery stores raising prices every month ! They don't care about everyone else but amount of profit is more important ! Since my husband passed away Feb 2020 the prices are unacceptable try to buy local markets and seasonal products !
I purchased the watercolor look paper by Crafter's Square. It's a nice heavy-weight paper. I am using it right now to make a banner.

In the midst of the batteries--one group was marked $3!!!
I use graph paper to make my room to scale. I add in doors and windows to scale and i also cut out rectangles or squares for furniture to the same scale as the room. Then i move the pieces around in different arrangements till i see the one i want--then i move the heavy furniture in place. Really great for placing beds and couches. Then you keep everything in a folder, till the next time you want to rearrange!!😊

One of the local dollar trees near me has changed into the “new” vision. It feels like just another store. I probably won’t stop there as much any more. I go to the Dollar Tree for the $1.25 price tag. I hate that I have to look at prices there now. The whole experience is gone. 😢

I bought the polka dot planner few weeks ago. Regretting of not getting the student planner because I was hoping there would be more 'prettier' cover coming out. I had to go back yesterday and bought it but all the black cover already sold out. Only the bright blue, green and red in stock.
We never had those type stickers books here. Yeeaaahhh I don't do Housewives, Island, Bachelors ect

I knew the begining of the year it was going to change to 1.50 at least sime things from a friend of mine that works at dollar tree but it wasn't supposed to be til the end of the year. And the calendar and planners are the start they will be bringing in more items for 1.50. i did comment on one of your videos months ago letting u know of the change i think we all didn't think the prices were going to increase
I was skeptical that they’d continue slip’n increases in there but I was hopeful that they’d stop at $1.25. It’s sad that I find more than triple the items for an actual $1 at Dollar General and even Walmart too.
