The punks didn’t mind quo cos they weren’t playing pompous over blown prog epics. Just stripped back rock’n’roll in a slightly older format.

I think the fact that Quo stuck to what the did and always gave the fans what they expected is the reason why their fans have remained. Status Quo. Suitable name 👍🏻❤🙏🙏🙏

Rick parfitt seems to be the nice guy of Quo then Alan Lancaster. Rossi in My opinion was not a very nice person to full of himself

Turns out Lancaster wasn't the nice guy people thought he was. Lancaster started demanding and insisting nothing was done while he wasn't there, spending most of his time, understandably, in Australia. Rick mentions this several times throughout this interview. Certain people seem to have Rossi as the bad guy for god knows why. By all accounts he is charming honest and respectful. How is that being full of yourself?

@@leo1314ok OK that's start with John coghlan he got spud out then it was easy to get rid of alan lancaster. Rick parfitt would of Been next that's why Rick parfitt decided to go with alan and john but unfortunately Rick parfitt died . Rick parfitt had enough of rossi crap . All been honest rossi got what he always wanted Quo to himself. Who got Quo started and there 1st gigs alan lancaster father.. read your history on status quo

@@onlyonealanlancasterstatus810 Bullshit!! Rossi wasn't the one that got Spud out. Spud was unhappy at the time and couldn't cope with the constant touring. Rossi has stated that everyone in the band was tired at that time. Drugs and booze had the band in a tight grip for many years and musical differences started to appear. Alan lived in Australia witch was not handy with promotion stuff and recording, The guys were almost 20 years together. Constant touring, recording and being in each others space. Most marriages don't survive twenty years. At that time Quo should have taken a year time out. Maybe than the old band would have survived.

I read in a Music Magazine that John Lydon prefers Status Quo to the Ramones.

12 Gold Bars was my introduction to Quo when i was around 10 years young. My father was a massive fan, and since i first heard this Record i was hooked. Also my uncle once gave my a Tape with their more Psychedelic Music that also really stroke a nerve. Saw them back 2009 at a free Concert here, when the new Airport in Zurich was openend. It was a fantastic Concert. Really wished i had the opportunity to see them and other bands together with my Dad but unfortunately it naver came to that.. Recently i've began a deep dive into Quo, watched every interview, Life Concert and my admiration for this Band has just gettin bigger and bigger. Alone the fact for how many decaded they keep up Touring, bringing out new Albums. They are really underestimated but one fine day, hopefully will get the recognition they deserve!

I've heard him do the stream train going through all the trends fashions line in a few interviews. I just wish once an interviewer would respond with, "so the ain't complainin' album, you weren't trying out the trends and fashions of the day then were you?"

Rossi is always thinking ahead on how they'll use his answers against him. He's been caught out to much in the past.
