So lets say you rent a house for 2k and lets say you bought a house and with all the tax and fees and loans u have to still pay 2k (per month) for your own house that's why the rent is better?

The difference being you own the house/condo and any money you put in above and beyond the interest you pay to the bank you can consider it as essentially savings. Real estate is investment property and generally the best investment you can ever buy as prices don't generally go down. Basically just comes down to what you can and cannot afford. The best time to buy a home is when you can afford one.
There are some online calculators out there that show you comparisons and when it is more financially sound to rent vs own.
