The part where General Levy stepped up to the mic is absolutely one of the most iconic moments in the history of British music. Almost every person in this country has heard Jungle is Massive.
*Junglist massive Lol.. it’s actually called Incredible as well
So iconic it made it to the BBC’s “showreel” to celebrate its 100th birthday. Amazing.
So iconic that you don't know it's Junglist Massive and the track is Incredible?
Junglist checking in from Canada. I am disappointed.
Why does tarzan keep getting lost?
Because JUNGLIST MASSIVE! 😂
I thought I sensed a disturbance in the force...
cracking me up at you guys correcting each other on who is who, yet it's never right lmao. love the reaction
dizzzee rascal crashed this freestyle, he was driving his car and heard his friends in the radio and had to pull up to the studio. that's why they got hyped when he entered, because it wasn't planned
👀
Facts.
Wtf.??? I'm an American. I love dnb. I love dnb mcs. I love grime, UK drill etc.. I've listened to this mix soooo many times. I've NEVER heard this before! This gets me even more hyped! Gives me an entire different take! Thank you for this comment!,!
@@matthoward598 I'm from London and never even heard this story before, makes sense though and it makes this session feel even more special.
@@matthoward598 at like 19:40 when he comes in he mentions how he heard it outside and decided he couldnt miss it !
This energy in the room is also 20 years of these man doing this together. This is what grime is all about. A group of people jump on the mic and either have a good time while seeing who is the best
Hold tight General Levy!!! 💥💥💥
Respected by man, and loved by gal 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼💥💥💥
@@theapavlou3030 he literally says it,hence the comment duh
we appreciate you guys actually listening to our suggestions consistently and getting involved in the UK scene❤ you 2 deserve a lot more than 50k. soon come hopefully.
🙏🍻
@@BeersBars check P Money x Silencer ft. Chip, D Double E, Dizzee Rascal - Stuttering
The reason they are so in sync when it comes to bars is because these are bars from their most well known songs. Also many of them are members of Boy Better Know (BBK).
So at the start from right to left:
JME with the durag
Lethal Bizzle in the middle
Tempa T with the vest.
Then Skepta came in (who is JME’s brother)
Then the guy with dreads and black hat in the middle is Jammer.
20:00 is Dizzee Rascal
Boy Better Know
The main reason these guys are so in sync is because spitting in huge groups like this is how they came up - they spit on pirate radio grime sets clashing with other MCs every week. They developed great, unique cadences and memorable bars to stick out on the radio and they developed their style and fan base like this.
Hell yess ahaha general levi took me back love that song 🔥🔥🔥🖤
its also worth noting that pretty much all these guys were spitting bars togther before grime was a known thing - ua-cam.com/video/1QMtflre3No/v-deo.html
as a uk native i love how hyped you guys are at this set. its not just one the most hype videos in grime but one of the most hype videos in music period. this set never fails to get me amped up!
That was the grime culture man radio sets , clashes , reloads , everyone chanting barz ….what an era 🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the greatest Grime sets, EVER!!! History was made this day 💯💯😤😤😤
Regarding how in sync they are: these guys were the entire scene for like 20 - 30 years. They know each other's stuff back front inside out.
Dizzee got the Flow to make a Boy Wile Out. Six foot deep, you could never climb out, knock a boy inside, knock a boy out.
Sorry, the last four words of your comment were the setup bar that Dizzee used to use for that grouping
ffs i had to comment. this was so legendary featuring nothing but legends. was like seeing a set from a rave u didnt go to. they sync cause they all known each other since early 2000s and all of them were pionners in their own way. being in their age group this is the calibre of music i miss listening to so much. n general levy at the end is like an og to all these coming in the generation before them and his tune was so big it was unreal, i had it on tape cassette back from radio recording in the mid 90s. this got me so pumped
The guy who joined in and it was the “thats not me” was skepta, and JME was the one with the durag that gave him the headphones, it’s both their song he was doing Skepta ft. JME “that’s not me”
Watching you guys get so excited about the music I grew up on is hitting me in the feels bro. Love you boys
💯🍻
Your reaction to general levy coming on the mic is exactly what happens everytime. He's a monster.
Loved the reaction to this.
congrats on 50k so cool to be with a channel from the start. can't wait to continue on with this uk journey with you two
I love watching your videos so much!! Everybody out here in the UK experienced exactly the same excitement you're feeling now when this stuff first came out. These videos genuinely make it feel as exciting as when you're sitting with your mates and getting pumped the first time you watch it. Keep it up with UK stuff and we'll keep watching
Thank you soooo much for reacting to this - it is such an absolute moment in music, how can you not love it!
I rate you guys man giving UK the time and day to listen to some of our artists. Keep doing your thing👊💪🔥
All the new drill stuff is cool alot of talent but this is our bread and butter, can never test these vibes real nostalgic here 😂
Having watched this 60 minutes (22 minutes) 100s of times, you man are hyped AF 5 minutes in. Knowing what's coming up it's 100% gonna be a lit reaction vid 🔥🔥🔥
You need to do the drum and bass fire in the booth special.
RIP skibba, killed it as always.
B2B over D&B with 7-8 mc's going off
Please do the d n b vs UKG 1xtra you got grime mcs doing d n b beats and d n b mcs doing grime beats
RIP Skibadee. The Don!
I asked this about 3 times😂
ua-cam.com/video/XwqlnpdYgIU/v-deo.html did you hear this recently from Pyro radio? P Money, Harry Shotta, Azza & Grima and Shakes the kid?
@@chriscjad yes bro, theres a big piece on a wall in my town Birmingham in his honour
Also I’m not sure if anyone’s said this yet but in the UK, man usually have iconic or well known verses and bars they hop into which is how everyone else is able to join in
This is the type of energy you get on any 60 minute set and n pirate radio or at a rave 🔥🔥 most of the OGs started in pirate radio
The confusion of who’s who had me in stitches tho 😂😂
Happy with this! Brings back so many memories this 60mins!
This is Grimey shit, England and the streets will never forget Grime back in the early 2000s im 30 and i grew up to this and still hypes me up now💪🏻💪🏽💪🏿
Yo this is absolutely classic. Glad to see this set getting some love outside the UK
The reason they all know each others bars is because they was all rapping with each other back to back for years on pirate radio station before they all blew up. A lot of the bars they were spitting were from way back in the day.
from 15 years plus back in the day
@@goldenduck854 more then that I'm 39 I was listening to Wiley and Dizzee Rascal when I was 15 or 16. Pay as You go cartel, Heartless crew then Nasty crew after. The good old days. And it was probably so solid crew before all of them.
That's awesome!!
@@Samw8484everyone says that PAYG cartel’s best track was Champagne Dance, but I much preferred ‘Anywhere’
Found your channel what feels like a few minutes ago, but turns out I’ve been sat here for hours watching these UK reactions. LOVING IT! Love seeing our stuff getting enjoyed across the pond ❤️ keep up the class work lads!
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
I'm so happy you found this Gem haha! Love finding your channel me and my mates always put this on when we have a drinking session also I think General Levy is the best example of the Jamaican influence on british music, and he's highly respected in his scene
Absolutely love you guys reactions, recently discovered your channel. Keep up the great content showcasing our great UK artists. Respect from North West England 👏
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
The reason they are all so in sinc is because they been rapping together for like 20 years.. and this group especially are really close so they'll know eachothers bars over the years. Legends!
In order: Lethal Bizzle(Blue & white T-shirt), JME(with rag & cap) , Tempa T (in the black vest), Skepta(first tagged in) , Jammer (boy better know cap),Dizzie Rascal (cap back to front, shabba t-shirt), Footsy (white t-shirt & cap), Fekky (long sleeve white t-shirt),,, last but not least General Levy (ABSOLUTE F**King GOAT)
Jungle is massive 🔥General levy take a bow.The most hype video ever. Apparently Dizzy was just walking past
Junglist massive*
I love seeing how much you guys are enjoying this!
Great reaction, you got mixed up with some of the mc's, in order it's Lethal Bizzle, Jme, Tempa T, Skepta, Jammer, Dizzee Rascal, Foostie, Fekky and General Levy 👍🏻
Thanks 🙏🍻
@@BeersBars The part where you recognise the That's Not Me lyrics and wondering if that's someone else using those lyrics - that's Skepta, rapping his own lyrics aha. This whole set is just these MCs freestyling lyrics from their own songs. Which also explains why they all know each other's lyrics and ad-lib along to each other.
I just opened my iPad and saw this gem. What a treat. So hyped to watch it, it’s a trip
It was awesome ✌️🍻
MASSIVE congrats for your 50 + subs, you're defo honorary part of the UK mandem, been wicked to see you grow from the get go!!!
Think we've all mentioned that so many musical genres have been UK created over the decades SO the mighty General Levy had big hits back in the 90s. Coming from Ragga, Drum n' Bass, Jungle & Dubstep & of course Grime... I mean there are SO many genres that we created that America rarely decided to open its doors to, unfortunately for those there that love really great music & the talent that goes with it. It's brilliant that now, thanks to your channel & others Americans are able to learn a bit more about it.
We're known to be open to any underground scene so much so that when the Detroit Techno & Chicago House guys weren't feeling the love in the States they came here to work & collaborate as our scene was massive & our deep respect for what they were creating blew their minds. They couldn't believe what they were experiencing here with our mad raves & musical dedication without bias.
One day a selection of 1 track from these uniquely UK genres with your reactions would be amazing!!
UK Acid House
Drum n' Bass
Jungle
Dub Step
Trip Hop
UK Garage
Acid Jazz
Appreciate you!!
Congratulations on the milestone, keep smashing it. We got plenty more for you over the pond!
Lethal Bizzle is one of the mans at the beginning, part of More Fire Crew. One of the more mainstream grime artists.
This one has to be my favourite reaction from you guys 🔥🔥 so glad you got to see some of the pioneers of the grime scene and then to top it off with General Levy who is someone they would of all looked up to and listened to growing up was amazing!!! Big up the UK scene 🇬🇧
This was great to watch! This is the music of my teens 😅 when you hear general play in the club, you know the energy is about to hit a whole new level 😄🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Congratulations gentlemen, I remember yall being at 4.62k when i subbed Glad yo see you moving up in the world
🙏🍻
Same! - now do my requests please boys, duurty goodz switchin songs is gonna blow your minds 😂
Love the way you get into the vibe on all the listens....even when you have no idea, who's who or what they're bubbling 😂 enjoying all these sets again with a smile on my face. Bless up.
This one of my favourite videos that exist on anything. So glad people are reacting to this!
Congrats! Keep up the great reactions 🍻
Congrats on the 50k!! Its barely 8am but you got me listening to the most hype grime set lol!
Yea in Grime sets youll often hear the same bars but put to different beats, also the sing along lines to get ppl hyped. The song with General Levy at the end is a classic Jungle tune, 30 years still going strong!
Hahaha time to wake up✌️🍻
crazyyyy i got gassed when you posted this, even if you mixed up the grime scene legends but it was all a good laugh, Beers and Bars year 2023!
Awesome reaction guys 👊 respect to General Levy dropping old school 💣 💥 🔥
Congrats fam.. yall deserve it
Appreciate you!
When I die, ‘Incredible’ is my funeral tune❤ No contest.
Just utterly brilliant watching those enormous smiles break out over your faces when you hear this stuff that we have loved for decades! What an absolute joy!
Thank you SO much for your content.
What a reaction boys! Was so hyped to see you both buzzing from the grime culture!!
so much energy. truly incredible reaciton guys
Just found your channel! Love your content.. keep it coming. Puts a smile to my face every time.
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
Guys your reactions did this Legendary set justice! as someone that grew up listening to all these guys this set is up there as one of the best ever in UK music
When General Levy does "Incredible", you dont understand..... It's like an anthem for the UK, especially those growing up in the 90s going to clubs listening to early jungle, early rave, early dnb, early ragga, early garage, early house. It was a time when SO MUCH was born from, and all those guys around Levy, grew up in those clubs hearing that track. On top of that i think it's fair to say that MANY of us, (me included) knew the song for so long and loved but, but then seeing him perform it AND REALISING HE MAKES THAT SOUND WITH HIS MOUTH?!! Ok yeah some knew, but lots of us thought it was added in, but he MAKES it live, is fucking insane. That all of these things contributed to such love and sentimental-ness for this. That's why the guys around show so much love. Song legendary, and Levy legendary.
Ok if you’re now on these kind of sets you HAVE to do
PMoney freestyle for Mistajam 1xtra
Don’t skip this one 💯
What he said
I’ve been waiting for this one
Soo many legends in this and the way they’re able to bounce off each other cause the songs their singing are classics so everyone knows the lyrics.. honestly general levy does some banging remixes of new tunes to this day proper bangers should check some out
this 60min is one of the most legendary things ever in the grime scene, came right at the time people where saying grime was dead, they proved all dem wrong with this. absolute hype.
General Levy and Dizzy just kill it !!!
General Levy is on another level !!!
I just subscribed to these two guys, love watching their happy little faces discovering the UK sound. Wait for the General ❤
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
One of the most legendary uk music moment right here 🙌🏼⛽️⛽️⛽️
I am in England and that was so much fun watching your reactions and enjoyment ha! Welcome to our world - music and tracks of my youth 😁. As General Levy says: "Incredible!"
Really appreciate it, happy to have you in the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
Incredible- general levy
Is the iconic tune you requested. It’s in the style of jungle, a truly UK sound that evolved from the Jamaican dancehall culture of the early 90s. Very different style but soooo iconic. One of my fav genres
Congrats guys, great work wont be as long until your getting your 100k.
This autoplayed after your reaction to Chase and Status. I wish i could go back to watching this fire in the booth for the first time, truly jealous!
Great reaction! ❤ Got all the guys completely mixed up tho - I was laughing so much at the confidence you had correcting him like ‘nah that’s not JMD that’s Skepta’ 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣👍🏾
Love the energy still
It’s JME as in Jamie not JMD AND YES THEY KEEP MIXING THEM UP ITS ANNOYING AF
I know this…was a typo 👍🏾
General Levy and Mista Jam are two of the true UK Jungle goats. Incredible used to blow the roof off warehouse back in 88 then hit the charts in 89 and it is still an absolute banger today. Jungle Is Massive 💯
You don't hear much from Levy now as he is 52, he is however still very much musically active, albeit for himself rather than the fame these days. You can find all his official and bootleg releases on his official channel @generallevy1
Junglist Massive* Lol
@@bd2691 Yeah yeah I know, I was part of the Jungle scene. However he says both. It's a play on words and always has been. It is indeed Junglist Massive as a call out to all the Jungle heads but also a statement, Jungle is (was then) massive.
Bro, l grew up with the general and I appreciate you guys feeling what we do in the UK 🇬🇧
Best reaction video. Stay blessed.💪🇬🇧🔥🇯🇲.
Appreciate that ✌️🍻
Bro the one with du rag is jme. Skepta is the big one who got tagged in. The guy in the blue t shirt is lethal bizzle. The little muscle man is Tempa T. The Rasta man is jammer. You guys getting it ALLL twisted 😂. The one who came in later is Dizzy Rascal ( the one with mob boss bar)
LETS GOOO! 50k!!!!!!! KEEP GRINDING AND WE'LL HAVE THE PLAQUE SOON ENOUGH.
That would be insane
Not only did i get to relive this awesome set, but had an incredible time watching you get hyped try to figure out who was who (and get 100% wrong XD). Much love guys, keep this shit ticking along it's top tier react content
grats guys!
waiting on this 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You’ve got a sub by reacting to this legendary set, thanks for loving us in the U.K.
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
just wana tell you guys congrats on 50k and hope theres more to come i remember seeing you pop up on my home page and being like oh this will be interesting that was when you only had a 200 or so subscribers and now its like woah 50k!!

There is another 60 mins live with wretch Kano Giggs and a load otlf others you should check it out
Today is deep day for me today but this came up and its smiles all round. Bless for this 😎👊👍👌✌
Head up!!!🍻
this is my favourite fire in the booth for sure.
you got a new sub!!
I used to be in a rap crew with like 8 members and we hung around almost every day. Everyone knew the lyrics of each other and anyone could adlib anyone on any beat to support. That is one thing that is great about being a crew like that. We freestyled over beats for days, often the same verses, to see how they go in a different cadence. That adds up to insane practice on any tempo or any vibe. So when a cypher like this happens you can jump in at any time if you feel it. You just gotta give a signal that you want a turn. In the video you can see them shoulder tapping each other and passing on the headphones etc. If you are really into rapping that is all you do and doing this is easy while impressive to others and there is a chance you surprise yourself with a fresh performance of old written bars.
Facts ! Practice Hours ! Iron sharpens Iron!
I heard this live on the radio in the car with my pals hotboxing, shit went off and i saw general levy perform live, so sick 💥
24:00 re instrumental that is Chase and Status - Eastern Jam. Some heavy heavy dubstep from back in the day.
One of the greatest sets of all time in any genre, if not the best. Legendary
Congrats on the 50k, W reaction
Iconic video hands down best of the best
You gotta check out both the ghetts and Kano 60 minute lives sometime asw!
I’ve been asking for them for time I don’t even care if it takes them 3 hours to react to a 1 hour video I am here for it 🎉
I stumbled across your channel and I can’t stop watching your reactions to the UK music scene. This BBC 1 Extra freestyle is epic with some of the OGs of the UK Grime, Drum and Bass, and Jungle music. First 3 people- Lethal Bizzle white top blue sleeves, JME wearing the durag, Tempa T with the black vest top. Then enters, Skepta (JMEs brother) with the black cap, then Jammer with the black T and Boy Better Know (BBK) cap, then Dizzee Rascal black T with yellow writing, then Footsie white T black cap, then Fekky white T with handwriting, then General Levy with the long dreads and MistaJam on the decks.
All these guys have been battling and making cyphers for years and most of the have been or are still part of BBK.
Welcome to the Buzz Fam ✌️🍻
THAT WAS MASSIVE! What?? That was so amazing!!!
Incredible was the first jungle track to get into the top 10 in the uk general levy leaving a legacy 🔥
Good to see the right music hitting the US From UK that we actually listen to! ❤
Yes team beers, we got 30 yrs of this for y’all to listen too. While hip hop was a dominant sound on your side of the pond, the UK was embracing technology mixed with roots, reggae, toasting, breakbeat et al that crated a counter culture unparalleled by no one.
The result - jungle, drum n bass, grime, uk garage, drill, hard house and every derivative of ¾, 2/4, 4/4, syncopation, off beat you can imagine. We’ve so much music from 1990-2023 that the world doesn’t know about that’s finally getting acknowledged is surreal. Believe me you’re gonna go on a journey that will blow your mind !!
And the most positive aspect of that 30 yr period was the breakdown of racial barriers - music has unparalleled power of us common folk and it will never be beaten, ever!!!
Fast Fwd 2002 - Drum n Bass has grown up, and started to travel.
