, I'm so sorry. I was Blessed to have raised my 3 Grandsons. They are 17, 16 and 9. We moved an hr. And a half away from my daughter. And I miss my 2 youngest Grandsons so much !!! I still go there and stay and watch the youngest on holidays and the summer!! I hope that you get to visit your son. My son is 34 and he moved back home a yr. And a half ago He is moving out this May or June.😢 My other son is 10 hours away. Hopefully by the end of the year he will move closer to us.
I moved out of my mom's house and across the street to an apartment. She constantly begs me to move back but I love my own space. Today I told her I am moving 15 miles away in July and she was heartbroken.

My husband and I moved to Florida from Washington back in 2020. We moved for his job. When the opportunity arose to move we had a month to think about it and we felt super called to do it. We moved ourselves and our 3 kids across the country during one of the craziest times in the world and we never thought twice about it the whole time. It just felt right. We look back on that now 4 years later and it was such a calling from God. We listened and followed HIS plan and both my husband and I had never felt more at peace about any major decision that we had ever made. Listen to those callings and it will prevail ❤ Cheers to new chapters!

We are going through the same thing with our family. Our son and daughter in law and our 1 year old grandson are more thank likely moving a couple of States away. We are so sad but if it’s God’s will then that’s the place to be. Bittersweet for sure.

In Dec 1986 my husband and I had only been married for 22 months we had 2 Sons and my husband was in the Army. We got orders for Germany. We were there for 3 years. We had 1 more Son in Germany 1988. While we were there the cost of Phone calls Stateside were VERY Expensive. Almost $2.00 a minute. We couldn’t afford to call home. We did make 1 call to let the person know our Son was born and then they called the rest of the family to tell them. Both sides. We spent 22 1/2 years in the Army. Traveling twice to Germany. You both will do very good. We have been married 40 years the end of March.
Love that so much prayer and thought for what you felt God wanted went into this decision. Happy for what this means for both of you and totally understand the hard part of leaving family in Jersey. Praying for you guys!

Co sleeping is dangerous. We lost a beautiful little boy in September in our family due to accidental suffocation. Please don’t co-sleep.

In Dec 1986 my husband and I had only been married for 22 months we had 2 Sons and my husband was in the Army. We got orders for Germany. We were there for 3 years. We had 1 more Son in Germany 1988. While we were there the cost of Phone calls Stateside were VERY Expensive. Almost $2.00 a minute. We couldn’t afford to call home. We did make 1 call to let the person know our Son was born and then they called the rest of the family to tell them. Both sides. We spent 22 1/2 years in the Army. Traveling twice to Germany.
You both will do very good.
We have been married 40 years the end of March.
My oldest son was born in Germany in 1988, also! I loved living there so much and I miss it. We were in Augsburg.

Hi Travis and Katie..wow big changes for your family. You could honestly feel and see the excitement in both of you, but also the sense of sadness leaving New Jersey and your family there. It will be an adjustment and you will have your moments of sadness. Let those feelings out and share them with each other. Praying that God will lead..guide and direct your path. May you hold tightly to Him thru the process. May the Holy Spirit rest upon your new home..May He watch over you both and little Hailey.
