I'm posting this on a bunch of mimi videos (cause I'm not a reddit fa***t). my idea for how to balance mimi sentry in game: -Mini sentries can now be placed inside your team's spawn room -A mini sentry can be upgraded to a mimi sentry for 400 metal. -The mimi sentry uses standard bot path finding to move, it was chase down enemies it sees, but will otherwise move forward on the map. The move speed will be the same as engineer. -The mimi sentry can exist inside your team's spawn room -The mimi sentry has 125 health, but it still shoots like a mini sentry. -You can build up as many mimi sentries as you like at the same time (the effective limiting factor is the total 500 metal cost, and the squishy 125 hp) -Pulling out the wrangler and pressing R will toggle a 'follow' mode on any of the mimi sentries you have built, which will summon every mimi sentry you have built to within 500 hammer units of yourself. -Any mimi sentry within 600 hammer units will have a wrangler shield if you have the wrangler in your hands. -Firing the wrangler will make any mimi sentry you built within 500 hammer units fire at whatever you're looking at. This will make playing power classes more appealing than pick classes, as you could be swarmed by an engineer wrangling his 10 mimi sentries at once. (And even if you backstab/snipe/surprise meatshot the engi then all the mimi sentries will just get back to auto and blap the spy.) This will also give engineer the ability to help break stalemates, but sacrificing the active defense provided to the team. As swarms of mimi sentries that have slowly been built up over the course of a game can be unleashed just before the timer ends and hopefully cap the point. This would also encourage the defending team to be more dynamic in the defense, as pushing up to regain lost ground means you can then later trade that ground for time to stop a push.
