By redefining “sex” in Title IX to include gender identity and sexual orientation, the Biden administration is threatening women’s ability to compete and win in sports, have privacy in bathrooms and showers, and more.
Unfortunately, the Biden admin’s position on this topic has been clear for a long time. They’ve consistently advocated for biological males’ entry into female-only spaces, including sports.
In the past, our courageous clients have stood up to the Biden administration's radical redefinition of “sex.” As the administration launches yet another attack on women’s safety and privacy, we at Alliance Defending Freedom are preparing to stand up once again.

What can public schools do to protect girls in locker rooms and bathrooms until this gets settled in court? Is there any policies that can be put in place?

We have been caring for our totally incapacitated adult daughter under our guardianship at home since Feb 2022. We thought we had choices about her medical decisions, but when we declined a harmful medication to treat an undiagnosed disease at a rehab, the doctor said they would call DCF if we would go home before the designated date (insurance depleted). We have a wheelchair van that is entered from the back, so we never bought a DMV sticker to add to the stickers "Parking Courtesy Requested Braun Ability." After 20 days and nights of caring for our daughter at a rehab in a rehab 4-5 hrs from home, my husband parked in a designated wheelchair slot, not realizing he could pull right up to the door. The Jacksonville police fined us $250. The garage door won't open, the appliances are going down, and even the toilet is in need of repair. We'll survive, but what about others with the same load but no wheelchair, no hoyer, no wheelchair van for trips to therapists.... maybe living on a second floor? Yikes!
Seems all lawyers and government agencies are of one accord that it's the LETTER not the intent or purpose for which the law is/was passed that "legally" matters. It's sad that lawyers are not allowed to argue and worse, they don't want to argue. 😢
