Now that Black History Month has ended and March has begun, we have the privilege of celebrating another vital month in the calendar year: Women's History Month. What was once Women's Day, expanded to a week, then to an entire month, over decades of celebration.
With roots dating back to 1857, when women in New York City factories protested poor working conditions, this month has the opportunity to highlight the many accomplishments that women have made. And to spotlight how women's accomplishments will continue to inspire many future generations.

I'll never celebrate something that someone is born with. I'd rather celebrate an individual who has accomplished something extraordinary or a historic moment that improved humanity. Not an entire race or gender of people. That's unethical on many levels. This just gives people an undeserved sense of entitlement. If you want to be recognized, go do something with your life. Your skin color or your gender does not make you special.
Brother. This video literally informs you that this month and celebration was born out of the women's suffrage movement. In which people, as you said is important, accomplished something, being the right to vote and gaining equality after years of oppression. This is quite literally, as you said "a historic moment that improved humanity". I could be assuming here, but considering your entire profile is a shrine of George Washington, you probably consider yourself a constitutionalist. So I am having a hard time believing that someone who prides themselves in nationalism and constitution can not see the value in celebrating a group of people who fought for equality and constitutional liberties. My advice; stop larping as a hard-ass Ameri-bro, stop using the constitution as jerk off material, and start celebrating the victories and freedoms fought for by oppressed people who have more balls than you ever will.
I'm sorry. I forgot. Which one is Men's month?
June
@jessikafrier6014 our. How can it be June? Isn't this Pride month? Plus now another Black observation. Juneteenth. So which one is Man's Month?
@@ericrodriguez4146June. some groups have the same month.
D-Day
every other month.
I’m sorry but I don’t know what a woman is. Will someone please explain to me what a woman is so I know what to celebrate?
An adult female.
When is mens history Month?
@@rijfd Unfortunately you are delusional. Feminism is a misandrist communist cult and feminists are a slaves, victims of cognitive parasitism.
remind me of ur gender again? right ur a boy . this is for girls only
Women's history month is for talking about women in history. The idea of a men's history month is to spread awareness about male mental health, sui(id3 and homelessness but male history month doesn't exist. That's sad.
@@rahnnstaap Who put you in charge of anything?
OMG I just asked this same question today.
Why is a man your woman of the year?
Only a few people voted for that
Oh, I'm not talking about me. I'm not tripping on me. I'm talking about in general referring to women in general. The way all these modern wokists complain about everything. That was not my declaration.
If you don't understand Women Day, read feminist books.
Is this why you gave a biological man a Woman of the Year title?
when is Men's history month?
@@sadie5957 so you haven't heard of the American Revolutionary War? perhaps look in to it.
Every month. That why we call it his-story
@@jmpayne333it’s not every month
The other 11 months and, when what's of interest to civilized life on the planet is gratefully reviewed. And there's not enough accomplishment to fit into those months.
Aw shit here we go again
Making a women's history month, but not a men's history month is like admitting the West is sexist
More like men rule and control everything, and we don’t need our own month, son
First we have Black History Month (February), now Women's History Month (March). There's not much more to say than could fit into a day. Such nonsense.
What's nonsense is how small minded u r. noting much more to say.smdh
Happy Queen Isabella month. Best leader of Spain that ever existed.
This is very exclusive, I have searched and searched and searched and searched, but i could not find a men's history month or a white history month. This seems a bit exclusive and racist if you want my opinion, i'm sure i'm wrong, though.
Men, as a whole, don't give a rats butt about any "special day or month"....we do not have the desire to be praised ad nauseum about any accomplishments done by the our gender, we view any achievement as benefitting humankind overall. The hubris of this month just overflows with cringe.
i’m genuinely wondering, what’s the thinking here? bhm exists to celebrate things such as the civil rights movement, whm exists to celebrate women’s suffrage and such.
real talk! how is this racist?
Also known as Misandry Month
not at all, it’s just celebrating women’s rights considering we had to fight generations for them. misandry is great too, though.
Anyone else enjoy the irony of giving woman any month and still calling it his-story. Lol no matter what men are boss…. Until you get married….. if you actually care about getting laid again.
Good one 😅
We celebrate black women instead of white men
I’m a woman but this is stupid! If you’re so fragile you need a “day” to validate you, sad!
I’m sorry you were raised to hate yourself so much. Southern Christian?
Imagine electively making the decision to let everybody on the internet know how stupid you are. Like you willingly typed that. Mind blowing.
You were fragile enough to be offended by a month.... That's actually sad
Did you not hear a word about not having the right to vote 100 years ago!? This day means something. Learn your history
National cooking month
No it's household labour month
