WONDERFUL! This musical instrument SHO (笙) came to Japan from China about 1300 years ago. It is one of the musical instrument for Gagaku (雅楽, ancient imperial court music and dances, lit. "elegant music") in Japan.
Yeah, I mean a lot of instruments in asia seem to originate from China, what is interesting to me is how in each country the instruments evolved to be their own thing, they each have a distinctive sound being that the Sho and the Sheng sound very different.
Inspiring. I have to go play guitar now. I can't believe how good this is. Stunning performance and composition. I need to get out more. I am so glad I discovered this. Thank you for posting.
I wonder why it was named Sakura für, why not Requeim für ______ instead? It seemed to feel like the morning and retelling of someone's story. I always had a copy of traditional sakura in my Phone and I commend it for its bitter sweet take.

Incredibly mesmerized by the tone of this thing. Wish I could have one ad try learn to play it.
It sounds like a combination between a pipe organ and a harmonica.
I'm loving the sho - perfect play along and great tunes
