I know how they could write Mr. Freeze. while trying to create a cure for Nora, he gets exposed to cryogenic chemicals. however instead of needing subzero temperatures to survive, he gets severe frostbite. he loses a few limbs due to frostbite, so he uses prosthetic limbs as well as some kind of metal armor to protect him from further damage. maybe some kind of radiation suit.
It's gonna be Mr freeze and will definitely be something like this. He wouldn't do snow and not have him and penguin. I think Joker is there too and will make his timeline similar to Penguin in the 1st one. Joker will be the main villain for the 3rd.
We already had Hush with Riddler kind of, plus i dont think he's that compelling and a lot of people think that too from what i saw at least so id say no to Hush. What i would want to see and could see fitting perfectly is My favourite villain of all time, Hugo Strange along with Scarecrow. A film like that could not only dive into Batman's psyche, but also open up some big plot, perhaps combining Arkham city's plot with No mans lands? With more realistic villains than fantastical though considering the rules of this universe.
Would love to see Stranger. Haven’t seen him in a live Batman film. And Scarecrow is one of my favorite villains. He didn’t get the screen time he deserved in TDK trilogy.
If Reeves wanted Clayface he could doit, considering how great he made the "Planet of the Apes" trilogy. Mr. Freeze too. I mean if The Batman 2 wanted to takeplace. It could be winter.
Nice video man, I would love to see Killer Croc at somepoint in this Trilogy, obviously not as the main villain but it would be great to have him in it somehow.
Killer croc I feel could be done in Reeves’ grounded world. A big dude that has a rare skin disease that looks scaley and he can file his teeth down for intimidating his opponents.
If they use clay face he won't have powers, he will just impersonate people in realistic costumes. My take, maybe the skill set is being able to change his voice but not appearance. Not a route I'd want them to go though
@@nicktalksbatman I think they should have him be a failed actor who snaps and goes after actors and crew remaking one of his famous movies. The kicker: he makes a mask made from the flesh of his victims.
I say no to hush. This is why The riddlers look in the Batman was basically hush. And in the new 52 hush is the riddler. So I think that was a nod, having hush in Batman 2 would feel very repetitive. He would look the same as riddler from part 1.
The first two villians that I ever heard them talking about for this sequel where Freeze & Clayface. Pretty difficult to implement in a realistic version, BUT it can be done if they do it right.
just pointing this out, what if were seeing bliss popping up because its a drug when tweaked produces a powerful fear toxin? explains why its coming out of arkham, explains why theyre testing it on patients. im calling it, locking it in, scarecrow will be the end of season villain reveal and will be in the next movie
@@edward222100 The bliss can also introduce Poison Ivy (since it came from mushrooms) and if Crane sees how Ivy is manipulating people using the bliss then he can alter it into a fear toxin which then can lead to Hugo Strange coming in. Making Batman have to fight his own mind in order to defeat all three of them. Maybe in the end we can see a battle where all three of them experimented on people and one of them never got away after the battle and it was future Bane.
For me, if they were to do the clay face I think they would mix it with the hush, in the sense that the villain takes on different identities by undergoing plastic surgery in the same sense that the clay face does
I think it might end with Penguin finding out that the thing keeping him from controlling the city isn’t the Batman but the Court of Owls. And in the second movie we will find out that his brother didn’t die but got taken by the court to become an assassin
Definitely a possibility. I really believe that at least one of them is alive. Every single episode since we’ve learned he had brothers they’ve been mentioned. So, I definitely think they’re leading up to something.
Plus Reeves is clearly going the detective route, so i agree. The "Iceman" theory for Freeze is actually interesting. But its a little too close to the Riddler.
My thoughts based on the first three episodes of the penguin so far(Spoilers ahead): Vic/Victor is going to be the main villain in the batman 2 most likely turning into a grounded version of Mr Freeze. Potential clues indicating this: 1.Keeps talking about mixing Slushes(An ice based drink). 2.In the scene where he is stuttering with the waiter, he literally says "Frietes". This might mean nothing, but it could also be done intentionally to sound like "Freeze". 3.Mr Freeze's original name is "Victor" Freeze in one of his iterations. I don't think you randomly pick some guy and give him character development unless you want him to be the next main bad guy either alongside/against the Penguin :)
Very creative imagination man, but I don't see that happening, personally I think Vic is going to be killed by The Penguin in the TV show as he is meant to be a villain, and we cant really go into Batman 2 rooting for both Batman and Penguin. If Vic is going to become anyone I believe it will be Victor Szass, but I don't really see that happening either but man, its so awesome having The Penguin and 2 more Batman films lined up in this saga. So hyped for this shit. :D
And for Mr. Freeze, I think a very good way to make him live action would be something like this, (changing the story a little) He froze Nora as always and discovered the cure for her illness but he doesn't know how to unfreeze without kill her, that's why he kidnaps and freezes people to thaw them in different ways until he reaches the right result and applies the same to her... And about his condition I saw theories that he could have a disorder like Chuck from Better Call Saul where The character has a disorder that he believes is an allergy to energy, what if Mr. Freeze also had something like this and believed he needed to live in low temperatures? I don't know, it would be interesting... But I imagine him freezing people in special beds or something, I can't imagine a realistic freezing weapon.
If it's Mr. Freeze they're going to be very grounded with him. No cyborg suit, no cryogenic frost rifle, just a cold-hearted a-hole who's probably on a mission of vengeance against people who hurt/killed his wife.
In Batman Part 1 the name of the journalist who Thomas Wayne has killed by Carmine is named Edward Elliot which I think implies that he's the father of Thomas Elliot. Could be that Hush and the Court of Owls get introduced in Part 2.
I'd love to see the Court of Owls in the next film. And seeming as Penguin has gotten a lot of on screen attention and let's not forget has become immensely popular these days, maybe then in the next Batt Reeves film, Batman and Penguin could form an uneasy alliance to take down the Court of Owls together, which would then culminate in the Penguin being the main antagonist in the third and final instalment. I used to be a big fan of Hush and Mr. Freeze joining the cast, but as some others have already pointed out, there are a lot of Hush 'elements' that has been worked into Riddler's character (which isn't to say that Riddler himself couldn't make a return), and therefore adding Hush as a separate character would seem a bit pointless. As for Mr. Freeze, it's as you said, in order to fit him into this world, you'd have to strip him down too much which is likely going to leave many fans incredibly disappointed. Let's have James Gunn take care of Freeze instead. Last but not least, I do think Hugo Strange should appear in these movies. He'd fit in there perfectly.
@@nicktalksbatman Yeah, and now that I think of it, I don't think they should introduce too many more legacy characters. I mean, we've got Joker, Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman who are alive and well now in this current timeline, with the potential of adding The Court of Owls and Hugo Strange to the mix. I think that's plenty to cover two more movies if you want to give these guys a decent story arc. Maybe have a version of Robin or Batgirl join at some point too, but that should be it.
I’m guessing, as is typical, the fan theories are usually more interesting than what happens in reality. Therefore, I think the villain will be the penguin. Otherwise, it really doesn’t make a lot of sense for them to go through this whole series with the penguin and then whatever happens at the end, just letting it drop.I think the penguin will become such a big crime boss that by the end of the series Batman will be needed to take him down. That will happen in the movie. Additionally, it only makes sense. If they’re in the process of writing the next movie, which they must be, then the reason why we haven’t heard leaks of who the villain is is probably because it’s the penguin and they’re trying to keep it wrapped up until the penguin series is over. That’s my thought.
Interesting, but I think Penguin will take falcones place in this story relatively speaking as mob boss. The Arkham scenes definitely indicate an interest to go down some more intense Batman villains. The joker in this universe seems like a master manipulator and psychologist. I took that ending in the first movie to be a hint of his role in this universe. Manipulating and scheming his way into Batmans mind and finally escaping with all those tools equipped. Think they’re going to connect joker to Bruce with Martha’s psychosis and the court of owls will also feature. Also think hush will be there if we are to go based off the hints in the first movie, just not in the way people think.
Penguin will definitely be in the next film. But, I don’t think he’s enough to bring down Batman by himself. He will need help from another villain. The politicians and the elites in Gotham I believe are being controlled by greed and corruption but also another source which i think is the court of owls.
You could visually pull of a "realistic" version of ClayFace by borrowing from the movie "Darkman". It seems this Batman is supposed to be more of a detective, so someone doing heinous crimes with a malleable face could work. I doubt it tho.
That would be very risky I mean Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman couldn't draw to break 800 million which 700! Million is good but.. The Court Of Owls?... I dunno... I'm a big Batman Fan but... But... I dunno if I'd make em the main Villain. But who knows maybe I'm so wrong, maybe something like Court of Owls is what they want, make they are sick Freeze, Penguin, Joker, Catwoman, Harley, Ivy, Riddler ect. Maybe a more unknown will draw a bigger audience to go see it. Guess we'll just have to wait and see
Considering the Riddler from The Batman had a similar outfit to that of Hush, they'll probably play on the idea that the Riddler has returned when in fact it's actually Hush. Kind of a reverse of what they did in the animated movie Batman: Hush.
I don't think it will be The Court... Yet, I think it will be Rush, that we will meet Thomas Elliot on Penguin, I think they will keep The Court of Owls to finish the trilogy... I believe Victor Fries will probably be in the movie, but not yet Mr. Freeze, and we will for sure see a Owl mask or something, The Court is a villain you have to build first, so start building on Batman 2 and continue to build on Penguin season 2 it's the best idea
It would be cool to see not just more of the villains, but the Asylum and the Arkham staff to show the scary nature of asylums and the evil things they do to inmates.
i feel The Penguin after Eps 4 hinted at either Clayface from the sewer headquarters in the abandoned subway headquarters... or..an antihero that could help Batman vs the mai. villans Mr.Freeze as main guy... The Penguin as Kingpin and new potebtial future Mayor... by Solomon Grundy. Vics Neighborhood has a street they showed SOLOMON WAY.
Ok hear me out. I 100% agree with the Court of Owls. It just makes sense with the clues from part 1 and the Penguin series. Talon will be the big bad opp in part 2. At first I may thought it was too soon to introduce them since this is coming off a Year 1 or 2 Batman. However, I can see a Year 5 or 6 Batman taking them on (time jump). Side note: I like the idea of Clay Face. They could introduce him as a former CIA operative who speaks multiple languages, can impersonate or mimic any voice, knows how to blend in and hide in the open. The problem was he was betrayed by the government and caught and tortured, escaped and is now in Gotham looking for those people who betrayed him. He suffred from extreme PTSD and brain washing while a prisoner. Batman uses detective work to try to find out his true identity, but proves to be difficult due to his ability to blend in. His code name in the CIA was "Clay Face". Batman eventually solves the case and tries to offer him help, but he's too broken and wants revenge. Batman locks him away in Arkham. I think it would make for a cool mystery, dark thriller type of Batman movie. Maybe he's not the main villain, but a side quest type for Batman.
@@nicktalksbatman yup. My number 1 villain is Hugo Strange. If not in Part 2, definitely in Part 3 and I hope it’s the overarching antagonist for the whole trilogy

they can do any of them. Could do man bat if they want, they got many billions and special effects. if we can have the metal man vs the shape shifting metal man in terminator 2 why can't they make any of these villains believable? Did we hate terminator 2? Honestly, why do these directors try making costumed james bond instead of embracing comic books as they are? worked in infinity war and endgame, deadpool v wolverine, logan, xmen 1st class, bad writing is what destroys a comic book movie, not unrealistic characters. It's all unrealistic. I'd like Man Bat or the Mad Hatter... characters never on screen before. Alas its not my choice
Mad hatter would be a great choice for a realistic approach ...but i think ... killercroc can be right on the edge of supernatural + firefly or ivy also ....clayface, freeze ..you need a new vision for them.
Its going to be a No Mans Land arch after the floods, so not just 1 but a few villions will make an appearance. They have already teased it a few times in joker.
Right..."Its OBVIOUS Who the Secret Villain Is ", Okay this second Batman project is due for filming in 2025 ending and to be released in 2026 and let's not include so many rewrites and possible delays, you honestly think it's OBVIOUS??
@@nicktalksbatman Pointless, indeed! Hell, man, they changed Penguin's name because they thought Oswald Cobblepot sounded too comic booky, so I just don't see Matt Reeves using Mr. Freeze or Clayface. I could see Matt Reeves possibly using Poison Ivy as a minor villain though. Grounding Ivy in reality wouldn't be hard at all. A Doctor of botany who spirals into madness and becomes a misanthropic ecoterrorist. As far as actresses go, Riley Keough has expressed interest in playing Ivy and I think she would kill it, man.
they can still do a lot of those villains, just not in the way you are probably used to. I think more grounded versions of a lot of characters can be really interesting personally. It can be really creative tbh
but Hush was already stolen basically with Reeves Zodiac vedsion of The Riddler. i think Two Face will be introduced as Harvey Dent.. , Court of Owls, The Joker would be the main villans inpt 3 epic 3 br long finale!
@@Randomaccount9470 I was being sarcastic. Also, there’s hundreds of theories out there of who the next villain will be. So, how would it be possible to make an “original” prediction? There’s only a handful of characters it could be.
@nicktalksbatman definitely would work for the series, although I do think they would work better for the third movie rather than the next one. Perhaps Part 2 will show what Batman was doing during the Penguin and why he doesn't show up at all. Court of Owls would work great for the big finale for the trilogy I think. But yeah I'd be very surprised if Reeves doesn't use the Scarecrow considering his potential and how well he'd fit in this version of Gotham. Considering the drugs in Gotham is one of the biggest cogs in these movies, maybe Scarecrow could be a junkie, or low level cook that's made his own batch of drops which are hallucinogenic.
I think they could do Clayface in a grounded way by having Clayface use prosthetics/casting that is used in films. Just look at Colin Farrell, unrecognizable as Oz almost. So if Clayface just had an ample amount of prosthetics, it could work. I would love to see Mr. Freeze though. He's always a cool villian, it would be a little more difficult to do in a grounded way though. Honestly, I think it'll be Hush, the Court of Owls, or Scarecrow. I think Scarecrow will end up slipping his fear toxins into drops or whatever the new drug in The Penguin ends up being. But honestly, that feels like it'll be movie 3, if at all. So most likely your top 2 guesses are correct, Hush or the Court. I will say, it seems like Oz's brothers are dead in the show. So it would be quite the revelation for him if he found out one is alive still.
We could get a grounded Mr. Freeze. He could do it. The heart of ice storyline is so good. But a 1950s serial killer clayface who is a They/Them, and using prosthetic’s and face molds to change identities is what I really want to see.

Very interesting take on Clay face !!!
Based on the information Matt Reeves provided a couple weeks ago as well as The Penguin series, Mr. Freeze is not an obvious choice. In my opinion.
I definitely agree. I don’t see how he’d fit in to his realistic world.
@@nicktalksbatman yup. My number 1 villain is Hugo Strange. If not in Part 2, definitely in Part 3 and I hope it’s the overarching antagonist for the whole trilogy
@@nicktalksbatman i could see him as a man who was working to save his wife from cancer. having no other options he has to test his compounds on himself. in doing so, he accidentally destroys his immune system and becomes a "bubble boy". having failed again and with the situation so dire, he rushes to work on cryogenically freezing his dying wife to buy more time. he is for some reason attacked in his lab and defends himself by spraying a tank of liquid nitrogen at his attacker. the reason for this incident is what sets his plot in motion as anton chigurh with a moral purpose, a respiratory helmet, and a tank of liquid nitrogen
Hopefully Black Mask makes an appearance in The Penguin at least.
I feel like they didn’t do Black Mask right yet in live action. Would love to see him done right.
Apparently the main villain is Golden Age Clayface (So hes not the clayface most of you know), but hes not the only villain.
So you think they’ll go the Basil Karlo route ?
@@nicktalksbatman thats what the best insiders are saying and MyTimeToShineHello says they wont do it and she is always wrong.
Given the main character choice I'd go with Poison Ivy
they can do any of them.
Man bat would be awesome !
Just NO Joker, please!! Barry Keoghan is a great actor, but he really just did a Heath Ledger impression with crazy makeup on.
Mad hatter would be a great choice for a realistic approach ...but i think ... killercroc can be right on the edge of supernatural + firefly or ivy also ....clayface, freeze ..you need a new vision for them.
Lol yeah we're totally getting Mr. Freeze in a grounded Batman universe. Wake up tf up bro 😂
I don’t think it would be that hard to create some kind of realistic freeze gun. Like a weapon that shoots liquid nitrogen.
The clay face from the original
Comics is the clay face he’s talking about
Its going to be a No Mans Land arch after the floods, so not just 1 but a few villions will make an appearance. They have already teased it a few times in joker.
Love that story !!
Mr Freeze better have the suit and freeze gun
Julian Rush from The Penguin is probably Hush 💯 villain in Batman 2 , Owls part 3 or Penguin finale
It's the court of owls. Falcon's son even said it the girls at the 49 below club are train assassins, lol
I am guessing the mushroom drugs in the penguin will usher in either poison ivy or scarecrow…
I think scarecrow would go great...fear toxin make Gotham go wilder than it is💯
Right..."Its OBVIOUS Who the Secret Villain Is ", Okay this second Batman project is due for filming in 2025 ending and to be released in 2026 and let's not include so many rewrites and possible delays, you honestly think it's OBVIOUS??
Regardless if there’s re-writes or possible delays the villain has been chosen. If you look at all the clues it points to the Court of Owls.
Humanizing any character in Batman just doesn’t fit right
It’s %100 the court and Rush from the penguin will introduce it
I think Hugo Strange is a sleeper pick here. Especially with how The Penguin has shown how inhumane and poorly run Arkham is
My prob with hush is they already kind of did hush with the first movie and riddlers story it kind of was a mix of hush
I just don't understand how they're gonna make a grounded, realistic version of Mr. Freeze...
Exactly. It really can’t be done unless you strip him of all the major details that make him Mr Freeze which would be pointless.
Hush and the Court of Owls are some of the most overrated villains of all time.
I disagree. They haven’t been out long enough and both haven’t been in live action films yet.
What a shity fucking take that is.
going the realistic path, will take from us alot of interesting villains
I agree but it still works. After this trilogy I think the studio will go back to a more comic book version of these characters.
they can still do a lot of those villains, just not in the way you are probably used to. I think more grounded versions of a lot of characters can be really interesting personally. It can be really creative tbh
Dcu is right there buddy
but Hush was already stolen basically with Reeves Zodiac vedsion of The Riddler. i think Two Face will be introduced as Harvey Dent.. , Court of Owls, The Joker would be the main villans inpt 3 epic 3 br long finale!
they should introduce Jason Blood by the way. Let the world know that bruce isnt the only billionaire in Goitham
That would be an interesting story.
I want to see Matt Reeves to used Scarecrow or Hush in the future
Both could definitely work
The villain for the next Batman will be . . . drumroll . . . the Penguin. Duh!
He will not be the only one.
Mr Freeze can be a built suit kind of like gotham mr freeze
You literally just named off everyone’s predictions.
Ok. I’ll change my prediction to Egghead !!
@@nicktalksbatmanyou can't change "your" prediction
Because you had nothing original to say
It's others prediction
@@Randomaccount9470 I was being sarcastic. Also, there’s hundreds of theories out there of who the next villain will be. So, how would it be possible to make an “original” prediction? There’s only a handful of characters it could be.
GIVE ME SCARECROW!!! he seems like the best choice for the Reeves batman trilogy BY FAR.
i think the court of owls would work great though tbf, really hope we get to see them in The Penguin
I think we’ll see one of the member towards the end. Possibly last episode.
Hugo strange and the court of owls. Both of them in the Batman 2
Would love to see Strange.
Why dont they just have the Penguin and Harvey Dent and set up Two Face for the villian in the third film.
Probably because he was done in the last trilogy. However, he didn’t get enough screen time.
Scarecrow
Would love to see him again. He didn’t get enough time in TDK trilogy.
I saw a 3erd matt reeves batman film on IMDB but now I only see 2 🤔
He's doing three films and he wants to expand the fandom.
Villains I want I see black mask deathstroke scarecrow
All good options and could work in the Reeves universe.
@@nicktalksbatman I would love see black mask and the penguin have bit of rivalry going on
I think they could do Clayface in a grounded way by having Clayface use prosthetics/casting that is used in films.
Love the scarecrow . He didn’t get enough screen time in the dark knight trilogy.
What if his wife dying because the flood fucked up there resources
Freeze’s wife ?
Your theory’s for Mr freeze we’re stupid!!! Bury his victims in the snow?? What!?? 😂😂😂 just do the video game Mr freeze! 🤦🏾♂️
In Matt Reeve’s realistic world that wouldn’t work.
We could get a grounded Mr. Freeze. He could do it. The heart of ice storyline is so good. But a 1950s serial killer clayface who is a They/Them, and using prosthetic’s and face molds to change identities is what I really want to see.
That was such a great episode !
Did anyone ever catch what colson said literally seconds before dying ?
I’ll have to re watch it.
@@nicktalksbatman he literally tells batman “people are watching, it’s so much bigger than can imagine, it’s the whole system” clearly alluding to the court of owls
@@MaintenexLLCyeah
The city is flooded so bring out KILLER CROC
Awesome idea!
