facebook.com/romanursuhack new ideas every hour!!!!!
Roman UrsuHack just a suggestion, but I think that a much finer sand/baking soda will work better. Great idea on that diy sand blaster.
JKnight and KARR i think salt work's great better than sand and baking soda
Roman UrsuHack you did this wrong! You should add into the bottle sand with water.
Are a Romanian?
awesome bro
very good idea
You are great inventor and improviser. Thanks.
Painting
You missed the part, How to make an air compressor for complete this video
Pedro Buono yes
Pedro Buono or u can buy one easily
If your name is Macgyver you can use popsicle sticks, rubber band and old jar to make one;)
He just stuck a hose up his butt and had Refried Beans for dinner the night before.

If blasting off lead-based (or any) paint, it would be good to recommend both eye protection as well as respiratory equipment.
Building with Lincoln logs was fun too.
That's clever !! Would it work better if the end of the pipe was squeezed so that the sand will go out in a line??
HOME MADE SANDBLASTER!!! Clever
An actuall lifehack congratulations!!!!
I like it. Smart idea and cheap. Congrats.
well done & right on....small job lo budget - nice .....wish I did this when I was a kid for all that sanding my friends & I did.
This is the way a great video should be made: cool, clever and no nonsense!
I see great potential in this with a 10 gallon capacity tank suspended from a tripod stand and a large feed line from the tank to the blast nozzle/gun. Having just recently using a traditional 10 gal sand pot, I know the frustration of inconsistent abrasive supply to the blast nozzle/gun. The pot located above the work allowing gravity to supply the abrasive material to the blast nozzle/gun is one of those simple but ingenious ideas. Anyone who has ever used an airbrush set up should have made the connection to material blasters.
The finer the sand you use the faster and more it will spray out at a time. Try using crushed granite it is very inexpensive and is what we actually use in our real blasting cabinets and doesn't give off the deadly toxins that silica sand does.
you should say that a high pressure air compressor should also be in every home too!
Baaaam.....It's a sand blaster...... Excellent hack bro
Interesting, but, a rotary paint removing scrub brush wheel on a drill works just as well or maybe better on that rusted tank or whatever it was. As far as making holes on the side of a soda can, why?
Bravissimo Roman !!
Una sola domanda .. la sabbia che usi.. non è troppo grossa ?
Intendo, non dovrebbe essere più fina ??
Grazie
What a great and elegantly simple idea.. Why didn't I think of that... I am going to make one of these ASAP ^_^" THANK ROMAN
Try using play sand. The stuff you get for a child's sand box. Much better and won't clog up
Slow but very cool for an at home project!!!! Thanks for the upload!
Красава Роман. РЕСПЕКТ. 👍👍👍
Neat Toy! Something for my grandkids to play with!
Jeff P ...You're serious?
GeometricalShark^ I have no idea how that got posted to this video.
Jeff P Um... Ok? Even so you're ok giving your grandkids something like this?
method of video capturing is super and good idea
Yeah Roman, that's it. Great new idea and so cheep and simple to reproduce. Im really impressed. Thumbs up :D
Thats Awesome Want Need To Have No Sand Blasting done
So is this to make it take longer to remove paint than it would take if you just used a wire brush?
Nice Concept and creativity
A simple sand paper for doing this manually or flapping disk for using with any drill etc. will do it much better and faster.
This will get into tight corners and other places a flapping disk can't touch.
Bravooo...! esti tare baiatule... sunt mandru ca esti roman
De cat timp ai acest canal? eu te urmaresc doar de cateva luni
Succes in contiunare!
Nice Video Boss
I love this sand blasting hack!
Most Excellent! With the right pressure and grit, this is a hobbyist's paint-stripping dream!
Cuantos bares de presión utilizas para hacer eso??
awesome ,great reuse of items and can be scaled up or down, makes me think of even more stuff to convert. Thanks
For when you wanna sandblast and repaint your hotwheels
meat chip That was my thought. For small projects only.
Led 220v
Martín Ferreira uruguay buen invento lo voy a practicar gracias
Keep it up. Good idea.
thank you guy! i need that for my projects!
Tres Bravo!
A sandblaster can be dangerous in the hands of a novice, and reading some of the comments I think there are a lot of them watching this video. If you do attempt this, make sure you have proper eye protection and a mask designed to filter sand particulate, and even though it's just sand, never spray towards anyone. You could hurt them.
GOOD MORNING...THANKS FOR SHARING..SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...
It's food, it's bless, don't mess with it or you'll never ever get some even when you're broke.
it should be in every home so we all can get silicosis. nice tutorial
I tried it and it works just fine ........ thanks for making the vid
good job bud ,smart idea ,but you should try with a better sand 🖒.
It looks interesting but I have no idea what was just made and what it's purpose is. :-/ Is the soda can supposed to become anything? haha i don't even know what google search terms to use.
I bet it would make helluva good soda blaster too.
nice idea ,but a small improvement, you could have sieved the sand so that the sand is much finer and would have resulted in a more finer finish
other than that,a great project
M Ram Aneeshwa
I've heard 50 psi works for this. Did you do the same/would you be able to effectively spray a larger area with a higher psi? Thanks!
you can add water at the bottom it would be better to clean the crust
I own this same air gun, if u use the trigger lightly u get more output than when u fully squeeze the teigge
Trigger
Great video!! FANTASTIC camera work :o)Try soda ash from Harbor Freight !
Good job. Thanks
Cool Video !
Thank you for these wonderful ideas
Muy buena idea 👍
I like to see that work on paint that been only on there for about 1 year or less if work then I try. No need waste my time when paint and rust been on there for 20 years
You might want to advise the use of a mask and eye protection here. I used to sand blast for a living and you don't want to breathe it in or get it in your eyes! Great hack though - well done.
What should I do if I want to change it into a paint spray gun?
My dad works with one of those to clean off dirt that's stuck onto buildings rocks
so useful
best for you my friend
Why are you using walnut hull media instead of plain old SAND? It's cheaper and works much better for everything but soft materials. That steel plate is hardly soft!
from where do you get these amazing ideas?
wouldnt it be easier just to burn of the paint and scrape it off and then us the sandblaster?
can you do it in other languages?
hahahahahaha clever
thanks for the idea I'm going to use it on my bmw as a valve cleaner
easy sand blaster!!
7" grinder and a 80 grit or less flap disc.
will this work with mountain dew? or it has to be sprite?
Awesome...thanks man, im going to make one
How much is the air pressure?
This is absolutely amazing and I love it! Thank you very much, dear friend! 😊😉😎 Best regards from London!
perfect for those hard to reach places
What kind of sand was that? Vermiculite?
neshobanakni walnut shells.
This appears to be ordinary sand which is a silicate. Silicate causes silicosis which is a deadly lung disease. For this reason, the use of silicate for sand blasting is banned in most countries
Very great!!
which material did you use, can you give a list of items (name)
Puneet Pal Singh he used sand but it is advised that you wear a mask or use different materials because tiny rocks in your lungs possess health problems
فكرة ممتازة ..........شكرا
will this work on nickel plating?
Does it have to be Sprite ?
If I'm ever trapped in a room with a bottle, air spray gun & a pile of sand. I'll try to remember this.
The title was a bit clickbaity
Why are you so concerned about clickbait?
can i use coke bottle instead of sprite?
Very good.
wow............... excellent
Какая камера используется для видео?
Pretty cool
nice....one thinks...one does.
what material is in bottle?
você sabe como fazer uma pistola tornador?
More effective is the sand blaster gun at Harbor Freight
Curious what media you were using on this?
Robert Craft looks like walnut shells. Those are commonly used for blasting these days.
Need very strong air compressor to keep psi for sand to fly
So it's a sandblaster?
If you would use finer sand ... the outcome would be better !
Will this work for teeth whitening?
FYI files are directional... push, pickup repeat👍😉
Truly an elegant way to waste some time. Wire cup brush on a grinder for the paint and to destroy a can, well, same setup, put a 2000rpm cup brush on a 4.5'' grinder @ 12, 500 rpm and step back. And yes i am aware that commenting on something that is a waste of time....is a huge waste of time. If some1 has the time to do this, then remove all the paint from the metal panel, my guess is that they can't stand the woman who awaits them inside the house
Use baking soda for detail work!
You should use sea sand. more effective
