I just took delivery of my new Tesla Y two weeks ago. I used the $7,500 federal credit and a $1,000 referral discount. I also got a 38,500 60 month with no interest. Instead of paying cash I opened a 40k 1 year CD @4.10% interest rate. I will be receiving $1600.00 less taxes per year. I bought Tesla Insurance also which is about $1800.00 per year. So my interest is nearly covering my insurance. I’m happy to buy now since who knows how long one will live. Great car so far.
Tesla financing was *very* attractive (desperate?) at year's end. But this notion that you're paying for it with interest from a CD, or any investment, is delusional. You are still paying that amount, which otherwise you would have in hand for other purposes.. But if it feels good, or better, no worries.
According to a friend who works at Tesla, they are refreshing the Model S and X to be distributed around November of this year. Hopefully there won't be many delays!
I like the Junipers look! The front, to me, looks terrific. The rear "Lightbar is good BUT the big empty space (where the license plate used to be) is a bit BLAH. The interior looks SUPER! I read that Tesla is doing away with the garage door opener which is a bummer. Overall, I WILL purchase it. Hope it comes SOON!
I really really really really really hope they add the directional stock back in the Model 3. I bought a 2023 because Its just too annoying to try and find the buttons on the wheel of the 2024.

I wouldn’t say I don’t like the look of the new Y. I would say it is right in line with Tesla and not wanting to stay inside the normal box and be its own car. I don't really like the look of the new MY. It lost all its unique character and looks like any other boring car from Asia. No elegance from the front. Instead it looks like a big chunky box on four boring wheels. Honestly, most of the professional renders prior to the release (many similar to thr new M3) were much nicer.
