fans have short memorys ,, at the start of this season we were a shambles , a takeover , players wanting to leave , contract clauses etc etc ,, and the majority of Leeds fans said they would be over the moon if we even made the playoffs , but thought stabalising this year and going for promotion next season . so the position we are in now all things considered for me is a bloody amazing one simple as that .

By the time ipswich play hull and Coventry..they could be well out of the running for play offs and even if either are still in it ..they will be knackered and nervous at the same time and ipswich will be so fresh and full of running..it will be the difference

Will reserve my judgement on Farke until the end of the season, but still not starting Joseph and bad substitutions decision so far are not convincing me
And not sorting set pieces corners yet we expect auto promotion bit of a joke really corners taken don’t even beat first man pathetic and it was same in relegation too
@@jbmb194 Agree, he has had all season to work on set pieces. Revie and Wilkinson used to take notes of every game, to put these things right. Also the last pressers have wound me right up as I don't even think he is seeing on the pitch what we are 🤷 Gnonto taken off when having a good game and Gruev....these are the things that are making me doubt his longevity

In my opinion Leeds will not get automatic promotion and for those history buffs out there, Leeds have not won any of their final 5 playoff games since our first in 1987. I don't think we will make the final playoff game this year either but I could be wrong. I think we have to look to the future and hope we can compete against those teams coming down with their big parachute money investments.
I was hoping we might just sell Bamford this summer regardless of promotion or not.. then I remembered he's on a £70,000 a week contract until summer 2026 .. 😢

wrong , hes not on 70k a week now ,, every player had to take a wage cut for relegation ,, hes on around 30k-35k a week .

Why cant we for once in our history actually win playoffs
We've only been in a final twice and lost twice. It's not statistically significant a sample so any idea that we are predestined to fail in the playoffs is purely superstition or mental illness . This voodoo type attitude was The Don's biggest weakness with his lucky blue suits and having to following the same pre match routine or else misfortune would befall us. We even got someone to exorcise a Gypsy curse on the ground !
The fans took the lead from the boss and its stuck ever since .
In the play offs semis we have won through to the final twice (Carlilse and Preston ) gone out twice ( Millwall and Derby ) thats a 50% record.
@@simapark We've been in 3 play off finals.....in fact we played in the very first play off final in 1987.....and we lost that one too to Charlton.. 2-1....and that was after going 1-nil up with about 8 mins to go!!!
@@SteveGreenwood-gb7dc Yeah Steve.....I remember that night at St Andrews....I was doing the conga in the stands with a load of other supporters after 'Shezzer' scored that goal ( superb free kick....like alot of others he did that season) ......then watching in disbelief..... when Charlton actually started to 'turn up' and perform.....and subsequently run rings around us in them last 8 mins or so!!! To say I was gutted was an understatement to say the least!!!

Southampton. Have been playing without pressure recently…. But let’s see how they perform kinder pressure away at Leicester and Leeds.
Ipswich have toughest run in. Wouldn’t be a surprise if they drew or lost both games away at Hull & Coventry who on their day are good sides.
I think Leeds and Leicester are more about themselves. If they perform at their best they can secure top 2.
If their DIP continues, then of course both could slip into play offs. If they both win all their remaining fixtures they will deserve and achieve top 2. If they fail again and again, they will deserve ply offs.
If Southampton win all their remaining fixtures they will deserve promotion!
My feeling is all teams will get what they deserve …. 🎉

We aren't ready for the Premier League. We would really struggle. We wouldn't be able to spend the amount needed to build a competitive side. If we stay down then Summerville Gnonto and Gray may be sold. FFP makes it impossible for clubs to have any real ambition. Question is do you want to be in the top 6 of the Championship winning a lot of games or near the bottom of the Premier league losing most games?
To be honest its Ipswich and Leicester that have bottled it more than us, think back to December and have a look at how many points ahead they were. At the start of the season most Leeds fans would have been happy eith the play offs

As an Ipswich fan I think if Leeds get 6 points before we kick off again you guys are favorites. If however, you don’t I do back town to win one of those away games. Cov play 4 times in 9 days and will be out of it for example.

Ipswich have to travel to hull and Coventry,tough games , Southampton and Leicester have to meet something’s got to give there , we need a win desperately.
He's gonna have to approach these fixtures with aggression, he changes things up when he his initial plans fall to pieces so, why not go at teams from the start, the cagey, keep possession at all costs procedure will see us playoffs?! If we're lucky enough to do this, then look for a good coach to cement us in the Prem, I don't think Farke's upto that level.

I would take it now if it all was to come down to playing Southampton, if its in our own hands, if a win against them puts us up we will rise to the occasion. I just feel like we won't be in that position as it stands today. How bad does this team want it?
We have never won a final play off Watford and villa in the finals derby and Millwall in the semis to win we need to score att the moment we can we will be championship next season I think

It all boils down to Leicester Southampton match if Leicester win i think they will win league and Ipswich be 2nd but if its a draw i feel Ipswich would win league and Leicester 2nd but if southhampton win then top 2 is all up for grabs but leeds have to do thier bit and win all 3 games then we might just do it but i feel now leeds will finish i playoffs

If West Brom get a point against Leicester (which is possible), Norwich win at home against Bristol city , and hull lose at Watford ! Norwich are in playoffs and West Brom just need a point at weds or at home to Preston on the last day to finish 6th minimum. Which makes Ipswich’s games against hull and Coventry a little bit different!

Leeds i suspect will not get a top 2 finish. Ipswich have a 2 point cushion over Leeds which is massive with 3 games to go.
Both Hull & Coventry will be out of the running for 6th place by the time Ipswich play them and i feel Ipswich will get at least 7 points from their remaining with Leeds having to win all 3 a big ask.

As long as we beat QPR and Boro before Ipswich kick a ball, pressure is massively on Ipswich to deliver away at tough opposition and Carvalho will run rings around Leif.
We are stressing about whether we are good enough to beat Boro, QPR & Southampton, but if we go up with this squad plus a few additions we then have City Arsenal Liverpool etc even the likes of Palace & Bournemouth every week, we’ve seen what’s happened to the three promoted sides this year, and we will go the same way as will whoever else goes up, but if we don’t go up Cree Gnonto Gray & Rutter and others are gone so back to square one, not sure which would be the worst outcome

I think it's irrelevant what other teams do. Mentally we are done. We look a shadow of ourselves, i really think our bad form has just come at the wrong time of the season. We haven't looked like turning it around, goals have dried up and we look nervous as hell. I hope we do it, but really can't see it. 😁

Ipswich draw wasn’t pivotal tbf mate, cause we needed them to drop points again regardless. If they draw one more they are 3 ahead of us meaning we can go ahead (via goal difference). Obviously means we have no margin for error but at this stage that’s a given. We have to do 3/3
