Tchoukball Overview: A Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU) Approach

Intended for use in physical education classes. This is a tactical approach to teaching the game of Tchoukball.
Players are aloud to hold the ball for 3 seconds, take 3 steps, and make 3 passes before a shot. The defense may not defend passes, but are trying to catch the ball when the other team takes a shot off the rebounder. A point is scored when a team throws the ball off the rebounder and the ball hits the floor outside the "forbidden zone." After a team scores a point, the other team restarts play from the baseline next to the rebounder.
Players may shoot at either rebounder, but only 3 consecutive shots are allowed at the same rebounder. If a player shoots and misses the rebounder completely, the other team is awarded a point.
Passes that are dropped result in a turnover and the other team starts from the spot where the pass was dropped.
