I did not know that those types of carriers I saw from time to time were quick release like that!
You learn something new every day!
Mine was from Lidl. I saw it, needed one and bought it almost 5 years ago.
Then I couldn't make it fit my bike because it seemed to be too small to reach the hub.
I went to a bike shop where I discovered because my bike is an extra large frame I had to get an extender to make it fit.
I learned something new that day too!

Got new pannier bags. Bike feels heavy and I didn't realise how much the weight of my backpack contributed to the downward force on the pedal assisting me when I'm taking off.
