Congratulations on your third beautiful child. I'm so proud of you guys. You guys have become one of my favorite reactor channels. Keep up the great work.
Congratulations on the baby! Btw, in the book it was Umbridge who sent the Dementors after Harry not Voldemort in order to silence Harry about his claims on Voldemort’s return
The movie never reveals this, but it was Umbridge who sent the Dementors after Harry. She agreed that Harry was lying and in order to force Harry to either defend himself or have his Soul sucked out, she sent the Dementors to attack him in order to preserve the Ministry's reputation as they proclaimed Voldemort wasn't back.
1:03:57 that scene so calm. In the books Harry was MAD, he was yelling at Dumbledore, trashing his office while Dumbledore remained calm which only made Harry more mad, any mention of Sirius was getting Harry even angrier, and Dumbledore wouldn't let him leave until they had their talk. Lots of good stuff was cut, especially how Dumbledore made Voldemort look like a b*tch during the fight. This one was still good and I like rewatching it but I dislike how it made Voldemort seem like he had upper hand.
They had to make the big bad look scarier. It would have made it a little underwhelming to see Dumbledore with the upper hand over Big V while holding off Bellatrix with ease.
51:38 he totally got it. Snape played dumb intentionally at that moment. He is the reason the Order shows up in the Department of Mystery to save Harry and his friends.
45:07 Hagrid : "I've never seen the Centaurs so worked up." Mrs. October: "Are those minotaurs?" Mr. October: "I think so." These two crack me up good sometimes with moments like this 😂
Congrats y'all. Mrs. Figg is mentioned in the 1st book as a neighbor who would watch Harry whenever the Dursleys would take Dudley somewhere. She couldn't watch him when they went to the zoo because she'd broken her leg. She's a squib (from a magical family but has no magic). That's why she lives in the muggle world. Dumbledore just made sure she had a house in Harry's neighborhood. Umbridge is pretty much the most hated character in Harry Potter. Even Stephen King said something alon the lines of how she was the best written villain since Hannibal Lecter. Fudge didn't *want* to know Voldemort was back because he knew he wasn't up to handling that kind of threat.
Ayyyyyyyy! Congrats, October! Also, it's not that the Ministry didn't know Voldemort was back, it's that they didn't want to know he was back. They really wanted to believe that their perfect world was still perfect and it made more sense to them that Dumbledore went dark than that true hard times really did just return.
I have to save this video for when I’m on the treadmill but I already see the comments! Congratulations!!!!🥹👏🎉🎉🎉🎉 praying for a smooth pregnancy, smooth delivery and recovery and a healthy little Bebe 🥹🎉
Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying. When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman. Also.... Cornelius Fudge, after seeing Voldemort: He's back.... Me, sarcastically: *Gee, if only someone said that the previous year and at the hearing. Oh, wait....*
I was JUST rewatching your Goblet of Fire reaction, I’m loving how much you’re loving and understanding the movies. Can’t wait for this one. Congratulations on the baby 😊
"There ain't no tellin' what came out these lips, y'all." SO QUOTABLE LOL That 'I love you' was so sincere. Congratulations on baby number three! Hufflepuff incoming!
One thing about this episode. If performing magic in front of muggles is forbidden in the wizarding world, then the Ministry of Magic is breaking their own rule by sending the owl with the letter that "performs" magic by talking in front of the Dursleys. Also not explained in the movie was that Umbridge herself was the one who sent the Dementors after Harry.
The cool thing is, in the books when Dumbledore fled his office. The office sealed itself so Umbridge couldn't use his office while he was away. I wish they put that in the movie.
Y'all are hilarious, love your reactions 😊 This is my favorite of the Harry Potter books, except maybe the last one. I think the movie is a solid representation, but they, of course, have to cut out a lot. Anthony was right about the scene with Sirius and the picture, really gives the tone of what's coming. It was even more intense in the book, Sirius was like "Here's a nice picture of your parents and me!" then proceeded to point out like 7 people in the picture that died, or worse, later that year fighting Voldemort and his followers. I could go on and on but won't. Congrats on the new baby! Sorry you had to spend time at the hospital, but glad you came out ok! Keep drinking water, we all need it 😊 And I absolutely loved your "You talk so loud you scared somebody!" and "You took credit for my cooking!" stories, hilarious 😂
In the order of the phoenix book Harry actually broke up with Cho because they started to find each other annoying. In the movie I think it’s because she snitched
The woman who played Umbridge, hit it out of the park. Hated more than Voldemort. Now that’s acting! And yes, I liked Harry Potter better than Lord of the Rings.
OotP is very underrated by the fans (both book and movie). Most complaints stem from Harry being angry for most of the time and how frustrating it can be having so much stacked against him, but this is the point where Harry really starts to grow up and realize his potential and just how bad things can get when the world starts feeling like it's falling apart. It also introduces some important new characters and concepts like Luna Lovegood and the political side of the fight. It's essential to the overall series.
Congrats! One of the characters that gets a bit cut in the movies is Ginny Weasley 😉 You can notice a couple times in this movie how she is growing powerful. In the story she is quickly becoming a leader like Harry. She is bad ass. Also Neville! Tough Neville gets a bit more screen time. He is also growing a lot. Together with Luna, they are all part of new gen leadership.
Oh my goodness, that's such wonderful news. Congratulations to both of you. And to think... I was thrilled because I saw this reaction pop up on my feed. THEN TO HEAR THAT INTRO? Oh, how lovely. Again, congratulations!
I can’t stress how happy I am when these Harry Potter reactions pop up. You guys have reacted to almost all my favorite franchises by now. GOT, MCU, The Boys and the list goes on
Congratulations!!! Mrs. October your such a trooper!! Mr. October, I love how much you are loving this! Thank y'all for everything. So excited for more.
Yaaaaaaaahhhh, finally. I've seen many Harry Potter reactions, like about 20 at least. And always when ending scene Harry says "We have one thing Voldemort doesn't have..." Every single reaction I'm saying to myself "A Nose" But nobody ever says same in that moment. FINALLY someone did it 😂👍 Well done guys, nice reaction. Can't wait for next one, unpopular vote, but next is i think my personal favorite of all series. 😊
This one is my favorite; probably the nostalgia from when I first read the book but this one always holds a special spot in my heart. Also; CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Greyworms new show Interview with the Vampire is 2 seasons in.. And It's FANTASTIC. And so is he (Jacob Anderson). Probably the best show on TV right now. You guys should DEFINITELY react. There is a diehard following of that show. And you guys will love it. Also, it was me who called you out on DORTHRAKI. Lol. All love tho.
1:04:55 Something the movies did not get across but was better explained in the book is Harry is under a Protection Charm created by the love of his mother that prevents Voldemort and his Death Eaters from attacking him outside of Hogwarts, but in order for the charm to remain until he turns 17 (the age of majority in the Wizarding World) he must return to the household of a blood relative for at least a short period every year - Harry's Aunt Petunia is his only remaining blood relative so he must return to the Dursley's every summer. This Protection Charm may or may not become an issue when you consider Harry will turn 17 just prior to the start of his 7th and final year at Hogwarts.
I'm so excited you get to watch the series for the first time. As a reader, the 5th and 6th movies deviate the furthest from the books. One of best cinematic wizards duels!
Congratulations to you both! Order of the Phoenix is my favorite Harry Potter book. Both the movie and the books really take off from here. Can't wait to get into this reaction and the next few movies!
Umbridge tucking the boys' shirt tails in give me a flashback to my first year in high school. Back in 1968, we started high school with the 7th grade, one year later than Hogwarts. One day as I was going down the steps to the back door, the principal called me to a stop, and didn't let me continue until I had tucked my shirt tail in. Well before graduation, dress codes were somewhat more relaxed. Girls could wear pants and boys were wearing denim jeans.
43:22 I want a phoenix and magic just so I can peace out like that. Kingsley Shackelbolt was right when he said Dumbledore has style. Also, congrats on Little October #3!
Have you reacted to The Hunger Games trilogy? I looked but didn't see anything. If you haven't I would love to see that sometime😊 Congratulations also🎉🎉You two are adorable and can't wait for the rest of the HP series😊
In ancient Greek mythology, centaurs can't handle alcohol because their normal drink is milk. They're mean, violent drunks, and kinda rapey. This made the centaurs's kidnapping of Umbridge kind of dark for me.
I wonder if there's a video compilation out there called "What Voldemort doesn't have?", in which we can see just how many HP reactors responded to this question with "Nose" 😂
If you’re wondering why Harry keeps going back to his aunt, uncle, and cousin during breaks, Dumbledore invoked and old powerful protection charm where as long as Harry lives with blood relatives the charm will prevent any harm from coming to the beneficiary from the murderer while Harry is in a blood relative's home. In essence, he’s better protected from you-know-who than staying at the Weasleys.
Congratulations on your third beautiful child. I'm so proud of you guys. You guys have become one of my favorite reactor channels. Keep up the great work.
Dumbledore calling Voldemort "Tom" always strikes me as badass...
Always loved that, too
Luna: "You're just as sane as I am."
Mrs October: "Gurl, that's upside down."
👏😂
The way it was supposed to be read.
Luna was a gem of the series.
Congratulations on the baby! Btw, in the book it was Umbridge who sent the Dementors after Harry not Voldemort in order to silence Harry about his claims on Voldemort’s return
I wished so badly that her very own dementors would suck out her soul.

I think it's better that Harry doesn't look like a brat, even when he's going through things.
51:38 he totally got it. Snape played dumb intentionally at that moment. He is the reason the Order shows up in the Department of Mystery to save Harry and his friends.
45:07 Hagrid : "I've never seen the Centaurs so worked up."
Mrs. October: "Are those minotaurs?"
Mr. October: "I think so."
These two crack me up good sometimes with moments like this 😂
RIGHT 😭😂
7:17 Mrs October : is that Dobby
Mr. October: no that's Bobby 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That description of the dementors always gives me chills “then everything went cold as if all the happiness had gone from the world” like that is dark
Congrats y'all.

@ Sheesh props!👏👏 yes for sure have to have entertainment on the treadmill 😂

That 'I love you' was so sincere. Congratulations on baby number three! Hufflepuff incoming!
This is a fun installment. I love how Harry becomes an instructor for others. It really makes sense given his experiences
One thing about this episode. If performing magic in front of muggles is forbidden in the wizarding world, then the Ministry of Magic is breaking their own rule by sending the owl with the letter that "performs" magic by talking in front of the Dursleys.

Im disappointed in Harry that Dudley was able to keep pace with him while they were running 😂😂😂
In the order of the phoenix book Harry actually broke up with Cho because they started to find each other annoying. In the movie I think it’s because she snitched
Ive checked just about daily for this reaction lol
Luna? Is this the first time we see Luna? Good girls name.
“He Floo in.” - Mrs. October I see you
Mrs. Figg is a squib, or non-magical born to a wizarding family. Dumbledore tasked her with watching over Harry.
The woman who played Umbridge, hit it out of the park. Hated more than Voldemort. Now that’s acting! And yes, I liked Harry Potter better than Lord of the Rings.
Congratulations
Love the reaction, and the "Nana pudding" deets.
