Thank you! The design reminds me a little bit of the Jubilee line platform at Westminster station.

Weird station. Of those on the Jubilee line extension of the 2000s, I didn't like this one. Although it's a new one - constructed in the 90s - it has no elevator? Only one single exit/entrance zone. And for some reason the British still use 'old style' wide metallic escalators, while most other countries use glass-side slender and sleek escalators. The platforms are relatively shallow, and strangely enough devoid of advertisement apart from the few first metres of the platforms. And yes the platform screen doors look out of place. Just like the raw concrete makes it look like the station was built in an abandoned underground parking garage or atomic shelter. On Geoff Marshall's channel you find the latest new 'labyrinths' on the Underground .... :)

There is an elevator at the station! Just before walking down the stairs at 0:38 you need to turn right instead and walk through a corridor to reach the elevator - there is also a 'lift' sign at the top of the screen... 😉
Well, I just saw the video with the new labyrinths - unfortunately when I filmed these stations back in May they hadn't been installed yet.

@@MetroCheck you're becoming my personal fact/detail finder. Missed the elevator. I'm becoming lazy 🙄😜😇 PS: did my best to spot the elevator, I assume it's where the wheelchair icon is, because otherwise very hard to spot indeed.

Escalators with glass sides are the most common in the UK more broadly, but the tube uses ones with metal balustrades because they're more durable against the punishment of carrying thousands of people and running 19-20 hours a day, 7 days a week
