DUDE, this helped sooooo much. I spent 3hrs trying to figure this out and got nowhere until this video. Going to Control Panel > Network & Internet > Network Connections, then right clicking and adjusting the properties of the specific Ethernet port was the key. By default, windows 10 "Settings > Network" window doesn't make changing these settings easy and intuitive.

Dude i have spent all day watching video's with no luck ? i saw your video i think first, and didn't watch the rest, watched the rest and saw what you did WOW ! you are the man ! but it was funny it still didn't work at first and i was like huh ? i went back and realized the 3d number in was 110 instead of 10 and went ohhhhh and went back loaded up I am forever in debt to you ! thank you man ! got to say what a joke this company does ? doesn't have simpler hook up ? But it does make sense now, since you'd have to have the connecting numbers to make it work through the network ,but it was kinda hard to know that at first !

Your instructions were right on target except I changed the IP Address to 230 (not 240) and it found it straight away. However, now my internet doesn't work for Google Chrome. Is the Version 4 the only option here? Looks like when I changed it, it sees the ATEM...but now my laptop won't run the web browser. Hmmmm....
Hey! I'm running into the same problem with my ATEM mini pro. The device is supposed to be connected to my laptop via Ethernet. Everything was running fine for many months. Suddenly though it just didn't locate my ATEM device anymore. Any idea where I can find the gateway key and make it work?

I purchased the Atem mini pro 6/2024 and when I received it, the software needed an update to v9.5. I did the upgrade and spent the next 3 hours troubleshooting why the Software Control screen will not appear. On a whim, I downgraded to v9.4 and that allowed the software to work. Weird

When I attempt to edit the IP address and the gateway...Warning - multiple default gateways are intended to provide redundancy to a single network(such as an intranet or the internet) They will not function properly when the gateways are on two separate, disjointed networks (such as one .....internet) Do you want to save this configuration? Also I have ethernet plugged into both laptop and ATEM but the 2nd connection (ATEM) reads" SecureLine" not "Ethernet"
I have two Lenovo laptops. I can connect with the one running windows 10 I cannot connect even though I tried everything here. I cannot connect with the one running windows 11 and I have turned off the S switch thinking about installing a fresh copy of windows 10 to this pathetic operating system.

Just worked for me on MacOS; I edited the ethernet settings and matched the subnet masks. after 3 hours....thank you!!!

The real cause is that ATEM Television Studio HD isn't equipped with DHCP, so it is quite normal that you have to stay with a static IP...

what cable LAN/RJ45 you use? Straight or Cross?
So did you connect the switcher to the router or the actual PC with the ethernet cable/adapter?
They are both connected to the Router, the PC was connected to the router too, but used an adapter since the PC doesnt have a Ethernet port.

Usually if you change your atem gateway to your router settings, that fixes it!
