Thabks for vid. Plain and simple explanation. The thing is that i want to have multiple devices connected to the same network via an ethernet switch. And somehow i can't make it work. The Software control sees the device but i can't make anything. Any ideas?

Thanks dude ! You would use a lan cable for software control , but. You need a usb A/B cable to look up the ip address you need to run the control software (if you do not already know the ip)
Can this software be setup on multiple devices to control the same atem 1 m/e prod studio 4K Someone set it up for us on an iMac BUT we would also like to have it available in another room for occasional use. Currently 2nd setup would be on a PC but if need be that can be addressed Atem 1 m/e

@@AlexandruMPopescu create a static network, make sure all devices are in the same subnet. Assign unique ips to all devices within that subnet.
