A tutorial from 14 years ago giving valuable information in 2023, even though I don't understand much English, I managed to understand the tutorial step by step, and I still learned more things, thank you friend from 14 years ago, you are a Hero.
hey there!did you include any object surface scratches/scrapes in any of your tutorials??like i could you could use it in scenarios like a pointed object touching a metal surface scratching the surface...
This way you didn't actually edit the col. "The planar object is for other in-game objects (player, vehicle, etc.) to be able to properly interact with the top of the vehicle. It allows CJ to be able to jump onto the hood or something to land on the roof, for example."
*After two hours of struggling* I started searching online for a solution because I needed a custom collision for a firetruck. I wanted my model to have a hole in the middle, so people can jump in. I found this video, watched it, tired it, and realized this isn't a solution for my problem, because I created the same box, but I kept running trough buildings. So, why I'm writing this? Because I found out how to made it work! 1. import a col model, like in the video 2. form the box if you want, like in the video 3. open the col exporter 4. select the box as collision mesh 5. select the shadow model as shadow mesh 6. select everything, except the shadow 7. hit export And you're done, you have a col model for you're vehicle which is perfect. I hope this will help someone like a 'two hourse ago' me.
can you make one how to edit the dff and the collision file because i try to do the same thing example i do a box.col but how do i know is going to be the same of the .dff box ?
Thanks for tutorial man. Very easy to understand and straight forward, something alot of GTA SA tutorials lack, if you know any other tutorials of how to do something please make it, for example how to change vehicle animations, Also, what does bounding sphere and box do?
@r4ngst30wn lol! Glad I could be of assistance... Again.. :D Ok then, well good luck with your projects! I can't wait to see the Mazda, but your other ideas sound epic!
Yeah. I'm not really sure with plains. You can make your own new col, that should work. But I'm not too sure about modifying the plain's col. Sorry I can't help. ;) Good luck with working it out yourself! :)
Haha! Thanks a ton!! Really appreciate that!! :D lol! I do a bit of C. :) Haha! Ok! Have fun with the gunz! :D Thanks again! Good luck and happy modding!! :D

I imported normal hydra's collision, but all it shows is those white balls and shadow, but no coll?
