Love your videos! I’m about to make the leap into the espresso world myself this year after being able to preorder a Niche Zero that should be here in March. I’m planning on pairing that with a Gaggia Classic Pro and using that to learn the proper way of pulling shots and just making good coffee for the next 3-4 years. Once I’m ready to upgrade, I’ll probably up my budget to $2-3k for a dual boiler machine. Hopefully by then I’ll have a wealth of videos to look at to figure out my next step. Keep doing you man! Looking forward to what you put out next.
One thing to keep in mind about your home studio, try to have some depth between you and the back wall, or it will look very flat and of course proper lighting. What I've notice is any coffee enthusiasts coffee bar will include Fellow products, Acacia scales, V60s, and an Aeropress. Hopefully this is the year that I add an espresso machine to my set up. May 2021 bring positive things to this channel, but more importantly you and your family.
What an awesome setup! Brew bar goals for sure. I also have one of Hoffman’s little griffin figures from the square mile tasting he did a few months ago. Honestly that was one of the most fun things I did in 2020.
Your coffee bar is my ideal setup. I’m so jealous of you! Maybe in 20 years I’ll obtain a coffee bar as perfect as yours. In the meantime, I’ll sub because you have good taste.
Kyle, it looks like a great space, but I gotta tell ya, I don’t care where you shoot your videos, just keep ‘um coming. This has been such a rough year, but one of the joy’s I’ve found is watching your videos because you are so upbeat, kind, funny and authentic! I found you after purchasing a Lelit Bianca and searching for related UA-cam videos. Yes, your videos have been very helpful technically, but even more helpful as an an antidote to the depression and isolation of COVID-19.
Hi. Enjoyed seeing your setup. I just ordered a new espresso machine for Christmas, the Breville barista express. Im new to this hobby, and I was wondering what would be a good coffee to use in my new machine to make espresso. My local coffee shop sells an espresso roast that i tried. It was a very dark roast and i didn't really like the taste. My question is, can you use any type of coffee to make espresso or do you need to use an espresso roast? Is there any brand or roast that you can recommend that will make a good espresso shot, especially for someone who is new to this? Thanks.
Wow! Thats´s seriously a georgeous setup! I´m on the opposite side of equipment :-D with just a Hario V60 and a generic mokka pot plus some air tight storage containers. But I plan on a huge upgrade for 2021!
I laughed to myself after just setting up my coffee bar and finding your channel and seeing this video. I have almost identical setup minus drip machine and ode, but I'm looking at getting the ode once eight ounce receives them in white in the next few weeks.
You should paint the concrete wall including the pipes. Then hang walnut-stained shelves on them. It’ll give it that modern-exposed-industrial look it.
Great videos Kyle, just subbed! Sooo I see from this vid that you have a nice collection of coffee cups. It would be great if you could do a video of these and why you might want to use each of them and what you like about them. Keep up with the great content! Thanks!
I've loved the Hoffman background with some coffee and book gear. But, you should also make it your own! White background...maybe with some coloured/pattern accents? Some coffee decor/painting (like the coffee tasting wheel!) Just some thoughts! Also, I also have my Square Mile Griffin in my coffee gear area, too!
Man, this setup is a dream. I'd substitute the espresso machine for a DE1+ but thats just personal preference. Can't wait to put together something like this when I return from overseas. Awesome video!
hi Kyle, I looked up your buffet table and it's 31" high. Have you felt it's bit short for a coffee table to be, or do you feel comfortable with this height??
actually this just helped me out so much i bought a steam trunk to make my sister a bar trunk for Christmas but it was a lil to small to hold wine bottles so i'm a just make a coffee bar trunk or should i say a brunch trunk and hopefully she likes it. actually if anyone can think of anything else i should add to it please let me know don't really know too much about what this brunch ha
Beautiful setup there. Also had a question :) I know you're a fan of the Bianca, but have you had a chance to see the lelit Anna in action? Weighing it against the gaggia classic pro or even a flair pro (with a nanofoamer). Probably gonna get the comandante with red clix for grinding.
For someone who makes pour over 3 times a week, do you recommend upgrading blade grinder to burr grinder and getting a gooseneck kettle for glow control?
Man I can’t believe you don’t have more subs, great content! Quick question, Ive been wanting to try coffee roasters like onyx and square mile, but shipping is ridiculously high for Canadians. I don’t want to buy more coffee than I can drink before the beans lose their freshness but I can’t bring myself to pay so much to ship 2 bags of beans. Do you think it’s worth coughing up the extra money or do you know of any third party that sells them within Canada?
Thanks Maxime! I just started this channel fully in the fall of 2020. And honestly, I'm just happy to be here :) As for those who sell onyx in canada that's hard to find. I've sold Onyx on my Website once and it sold out quickly. Other than that you can find it at select cafe's who want to order in Onyx coffee. Hope this helps
Happy new year and great video! If I may make one suggestion: Maybe don't use songs with vocal tracs in them for background music. It was a touch distracting from your great content! Cheers from Germany!
Hey Kyle, happy 2021 to you and your family. I enjoy your videos and your take on coffee culture. I participated in James' world wide tasting, my kids destroyed that little mascot thing.
@@KyleRowsell really fun, we need more of that in our community. Many of us learn what we "like" and we stop experimenting and learning. Coffee for me is as much enjoyment, of the final dialed in result, as it is the journey of enjoying its near infinite variability.
I just found out about this channel, really like it and I also think it will soon get bigger. But for me that "facecam" while talking and moving is getting pretty repetitive after so many people do this while vlogin'. I would expect a little "calmer" way of showing excitement and your positive energy when its about something as calming and relaxing as a coffee. This! Like your content but sometimes I get almost seasick from all the motion and blur /focus going on. Hope the fixed studio setup will help with that, about that less is more ;)
Happy New Year! What's on your BREW BAR? Anything you're hoping to add to your brew bar in 2021?
I’m hoping to get that Niche baby! I got a Fellow EKG and a Acaia Pearl for Christmas. Need to upgrade my Capresso Infinity grinder now.
Bro your channel is gonna blow up this year, great content and video quality.
Ah thank you Adam. Even if it doesn’t, I’m just happy to be here ☺️

Awesome video. What size is this ecm knockbox? There are 3 sizes and I’d love to get the one that fits so nicely under the Niche. Thanks!
It’s the small one I believe. But I’ve had it for a while.
You had Profitec 500? Why did you switch to Lelit? I get the dual boiler and flow control, but still
Love this. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
